A true hidden gem!
Swan Lake Event Center in Powell is like having your wedding ceremony in another far away country with a fountain pond, a white gazebo, small waterfall and flowing creek surrounded by big mature trees, a walking path, and beautiful big swans swimming around. That is how beautiful the outdoor spaces are! We were awe struck as we walked around. In addition, Kim, the wedding coordinator, was the sweetest & most helpful person! She was a true pleasure to work along side. I give this place very high praise!

Exceptional venue and staff!
Swan Lake Event Center is a hidden gem in Powell, Ohio. When searching for a venue we were looking for somewhere that emphasized natural beauty and didn’t require much to make it look stunning, Swan Lake provides exactly that. When we met with the coordinators, they toured us through a few different venue locations, showing us the many options at our disposal for the ceremony and for photography during golden hour. It is not just the whimsical nature that surrounds the area, but the charming interior of both the getting-ready parlors and reception hall that we fell in love with.
It's evident that Swan Lake goes beyond being just a venue; they become partners in turning wedding dreams into reality. Sarah and Bailey were extremely helpful both during the planning process and throughout the entire wedding day! Their responsiveness was nothing short of exceptional and it was obvious that they took the time to understand exactly what we wanted for our wedding day! We feel incredibly fortunate to have had our special day in such a captivating setting with an unforgettable vendor team.
It's evident that Swan Lake goes beyond being just a venue; they become partners in turning wedding dreams into reality. Sweet, reasonable, accommodating, organized
Bailey and Sarah are the FREAKING SWEETEST. These women literally have my heart. They are so amazing. They helped with everything and I had not 1 issue at my wedding because these girls were ON TOP of it. Venue is absolutely stunning. It's so clean and wonderful. So romantic

Dream wedding venue!!
This venue is everything! It has multiple outdoor ceremony space options, we choose the waterfall and it was so dreamy! The reception building is spacious with windows everywhere giving the best natural light. The patio over the pond was so fun for our guests during cocktail hour. Kristen and the rest of the team at Swan Lake know what they're doing, highly recommend!

Superior event site
My son was married at Swan Lake Event Center. We had amazing attention to every detail that we requested. The facilities were top notch in every aspect. The dressing areas were large and comfortable. The outdoor areas were well cared for and a beautiful setting for both pictures and ceremony. They worked seamlessly with the caterer and wedding planner to create a wedding where everything was perfect. They even helped with clean up and loading vehicles at the end of the day. You will not be disappointed in choosing this facility for your event!

A lovely venue, both outdoors and indoors!
My daughter and her husband chose Swan Lake Event Center for their outdoor wedding ceremony and reception in early October, 2021. It was truly a beautiful day! Olivia, Bailey, and Jessica were easy to work with, had many suggestions for how to make everything run smoothly, and handled everything well the day of the wedding. The outdoor forest setting was absolutely stunning and everything my daughter dreamed of for her ceremony. The reception hall was well appointed, had plenty of space for all our guests and our caterer’s stations, and lots of dance floor space too. The bridal parlor was the perfect place for the bridal party and moms to get ready, and for our beauty professionals to set up and do all our hair and makeup. The grounds are lovely and provided beautiful backdrops for the wedding photos. The alcohol selection provided was good and all our guests enjoyed their beverages. Our guests had so many compliments on the venue and several friends and relatives were asking me about the details for the venue for future events. I highly recommend Swan Lake for weddings!

Amazing Venue
I can't say enough good things about Swan Lake and the staff! My husband and I were originally supposed to get married here in May 2020 and had to postpone due to COVID. Kristen, Olivia and the entire staff were extremely accommodating and supportive as we navigated postponing our wedding and trying to keep all of our same vendors. They even helped us arrange a small family only ceremony on site so we were still able to get married on our original date!
With our new date set for May 2021 we continued to plan around COVID protocols with the help and guidance of the team at Swan Lake. They eased the stress of planning a wedding during such a unique time and were always available to offer advice and guidance.
Kristen in particular was absolutely amazing throughout the entire 1.5 year planning process and a huge help the day of the wedding! She helped organize and communicate with our vendors, assisted in planning, coordinated catering and always made us feel so at ease and knew we were in great hands! She was also around with a smile the day of the wedding helping with last minute things and making our day perfect. Bailey was our day of coordinator who also made sure our wedding day ran smoothly and ensured everything went off without a hitch.
Overall, Swan Lake was an absolutely beautiful spot for our wedding ceremony & reception and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, unique and fun venue to get married at. You are in the best hands with the staff here. Thank you so much!

Amazing venue!
