We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding venue. From the moment we arrived, everything about this place felt special. The winery was absolutely stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and elegant spaces that made our day feel magical from start to finish. The staff (Becca especially) went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. They were professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding seamless and stress-free. Communication was clear and timely throughout the planning process, and on the day itself, everything ran flawlessly. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the venue was and how smoothly the entire event flowed. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way! We are so grateful to have celebrated such an important day here and would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a memorable, top-tier wedding experience! It was the most perfect day!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Richard and Rockhill Plantation! Planning, communication, flexibility, and finally, the beauty of the venue were impeccable. We booked this venue before anyone even knew what COVID was and the original date was supposed to be July 2020. Richard was so wonderful in helping us navigate what was going on with state requirements and ultimately having to reschedule for July 2021, despite what I am sure was an uncertain time for him and his business. He really did put our needs and comfort first- meeting with us and determining the safest way forward. When we finally got to July 2021and the big day it went flawlessly. Our event coordinator, Erin, who worked with Rockhill Planation was exceptional and Richard who DJ’d the event was amazing. Both of them felt like family and integrated themselves flawlessly into the day. They seemed to be aware of what we needed before it even occurred to us. In fact, many months later, I am still hearing from family and friends about Richard’s clear expertise in keeping the party going and making sure there were no lulls in the receptions flow. Erin, for her part, anticipated every possible contingency. You almost always hear about some sort of mishaps or “that one relative” at weddings- we had none of that because Richard and Erin were on top of it. Richard and Erin worked amazing with all of our vendors, from catering, to the florist, the officiant, and limo and shuttle drivers- Richard and Erin made sure that any issues were dealt with behind the scenes and had no impact on the festivities. (On that note, I will say I strongly recommend that anyone using this venue consider booking a shuttle service to take guests to and from the venue, as it is located on a country road- just to save yourself the worry of people not having to drive.) Lastly, the venue itself was beautiful, we scheduled the wedding for 6pm on July 10th 2021, so we were worried about heat and/or rain. Thankfully, the day was beautiful but in addition, the venue has many flowering trees that made the views beautiful (and cut down on our florist bill for those who are budget minded). Richard allowed us to bring a few outdoor games (cornhole) and we had ice tea and water stations in a couple places, so the grounds really felt like a comfortable, family gathering. We had close to 100 people in total and at first were a little concerned about space in the reception hall. However, that turned out to be a needless worry. There was plenty of space for dancing, dining and conversation. The patio in the back was the perfect hang out place for drinking and catching up- you could see all the dancing and activity but the music on the patio wasn’t so overpowering you couldn’t talk. The large lawn area was perfect for the younger guests to run around and play games. In short, I am so thankful we found Rockhill Plantation for our daughter’s wedding. We couldn’t have asked for better people to work or a place to make wonderful memories.

Hi There. I just wanted to leave a review about Augustine Golf Club and their help for my wedding. My husband and I are very laid back, so when we decided to get married, we decided to go with the flow. However, there were a lot of things that we did not realized were involved. One being the perfect venue. I thought I would have a backyard wedding in the middle of November and my family thought otherwise. My step father found Augustine Golf Club because it was definitely one of the more affordable options. While I was slightly deterred by the initial appearance of the venue (just because of the green carpet), once everything was setup with the dance floor, the table linens, and the extra lighting my step father did, it looked fantastic. I never even noticed the floor. Additionally, Michelle Wang was wonderful in guiding us through this process. She was patient with my busy schedule and made this easy for us to get set up and paid for. When we had our initial sit down to discuss food and the ceremony, she asked me so many questions about the music and order that I was unprepared for. But thank goodness! Due to her being so knowledgeable and well versed in handling wedding procedures, our wedding was absolutely perfect. Even the day of, she did a quick run through and was there to cue the DJ and me when to start my music to walk down the aisle. On top of all of this, the food was amazing. The pork tenderloin and roasted potatoes were the best food!! Thank you to Michelle and the Augustine Golf Club for hosting our wedding and reception and making sure everything was perfect!
