You absolutely cannot go wrong by picking CCF for all your party needs. Lauren and Claire were absolutely amazing to work with, answered all our questions, and made our wedding run effortlessly. They were communicative, supportive, and on top of every detail. I loved the flexibility they so graciously gave us. Not only are they wonderful at their jobs, Lauren and Claire are a pleasure to be around! I always felt like we were in friendly company when at the venue making decisions pre-wedding, which made everything absolutely fun and enjoyable. You will not be disappointed with this dynamic duo!

Fantastic Event during Covid
The Country Club of Fairfax did a fantastic job hosting my daughter’s wedding. Amidst the Covid pandemic Claire and Lauren from the catering department helped me plan my wedding, postpone it and plan it again. They were so flexible with the changes we had to make. Our event was a huge success!

Lauren and Claire are AMAZING!!!
The wedding venue we booked a year in advance cancelled on us five months before our wedding. My mom reached out to Country Club of Fairfax and Lauren responded right away that they had availability on our date and were able to comfortably accommodate our planned 250 guests. We were able to setup an appointment with her that next weekend and we absolutely fell in love with the venue after our tour. Soon after we signed the contract with them, the world started shutting down due to COVID-19. Throughout the following five months, both Lauren and Claire were super responsive and helpful in planning and re-planning our wedding. We had so many back-up and what-if plans, I honestly lost track! However, they were completely on top of it. Any question we or any of our family members had, they were able to get us an answer. We were lucky enough to move forward on our original date and despite the reduced number of guests and other changes that had to be made due to CDC guidelines, it ended up being absolutely perfect. I credit Lauren and Claire with making my wedding as amazing as I hoped. I believe everything happens for a reason and when I thought the worst thing that could happen was my original venue cancelling five months before my wedding, it ended up being the best thing since it brought me to Country Club of Fairfax and in the capable hands of Lauren and Claire! They are the absolute best and I very much appreciate all that they did!

An excellent venue!
We were married December 2018 and had our reception at the Country Club of Fairfax. We were engaged for 4 months before our wedding, and the Country Club made our short time of wedding planning easy and our reception beautiful. Carlene was easy to work with and took away any wedding-day stress. The Country Club handled all set-up and tear-down and was so beautifully decorated for Christmas that we didn't even put up any additional decorations. The biggest relief to us was that the Country Club was also the best value around and required little to no work on our part. The food was delicious (we had guests commenting on it) and well-presented and the service was professional. If you're considering the Country Club of Fairfax for your wedding, you won't regret your decision!

The Country Club of Fairfax (CCF) hosted my wedding, both ceremony and reception, in December of 2017. Working with Katie, Scott, Gina and Paula during the planning stage made it very stress free. We met with them periodically and they made themselves available on my schedule, which was fantastic since I live in Richmond, VA. They were very accommodating with our menu planning and food choice options. If there wasn't something on the menu we wanted, Chef Robo would make it happen. They even provided helpful suggestions when we were unsure (like decorations, cake size, desert options, etc.).
Although the day of the wedding is already hectic and stressful with getting ready (at least for the bride), the CCF team minimized the chaos by providing more than sufficient space for the groomsmen and bridal party to dress and directed the vendors without bothering me (keep in mind we had a ton of vendors including: DJ, photographer, videographer, florist, cake, photo booth, and caricature artist). The updated ballroom and lobby made for a beautiful ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Since we had our ceremony and reception both in the ballroom, a lot of work was done behind the scenes to make the transition from the ceremony to the reception seamless without disturbing the cocktail hour in the lobby. Katie, Gina, and Paula stayed during the ENTIRE reception to make sure everything went as planned. They even made several stops to my parents to make sure everything was going well.
For our wedding, we decided to do a plated dinner instead of a buffet with 4 choice options: filet mignon, chicken alexandra, salmon, and vegetarian. The plated meals were served very efficiently, especially considering the number of guests (180) and the amount of food options we had. Not only did we think the food was delicious, but all of our guests complemented us on how tasty the food was. The entire reception stayed on schedule and my guests had a wonderful experience.

I held my engagement party there a couple weeks ago and it was an amazing time. My many thanks to the detail oriented staff for helping me on my special day. The staff at the Country Club of Fairfax is wonderful and they are a great resource to have for any event. The venue set up was gorgeous and taking pictures in the gazebo and on the grounds turned out amazing. I highly recommend this venue for all types of formal events!

If you are looking for an absolutely beautiful venue, an awesome staff, and a fantastic & patient coordinator then book this place!!! We got married this past June 2017. We had looked for venues for more than three months when we got engaged last April. We had a huge guest list, so it came down to who can offer the best price without compromising quality of food and service! This was the last place we saw and absolutely fell in love with! After the renovations this place looked even more stunning. Our wedding was a mix of American and Indian so we wanted Indian food from an outside caterer, which they made an exception!! This was in addition to the American food the venue provided. Most places were not allowing outside catering so this was a huge plus for us! The first coordinator (Anna) we had was a bit challenging to work with but early this year she left the company. The second coordinator (Scott) replaced Anna and from then on our life just got easier! First we were a bit nervous not knowing what to expect from the new coordinator since we already had the food tasting, and an agreement on the outside catering. But Scott was amazing! He worked with us patiently in every step, listened to us and understood our vision for the wedding and made suggestions, which helped us tremendously!! He simplified everything, tried to safe us money by making various suggestions based on his years of experience! He took notes and kept track of them until the week of the wedding! He gave suggestions not only on food, but on decorations as well! On the day of the wedding, his staff provided a fantastic service. Just love Scott and this place. All the guests raved about the beauty of this place, the delicious food, and the flawless service!!! You won’t regret booking this place, they are amazing, the venue is absolutely stunning and their food is delicious!!!
