We worked with Eddy Bobby as our wedding DJ and Victoria Lukehart as our day of coordinator.

Victoria did an amazing job and was worth every penny spent. She worked with us for the entire month of the wedding, despite only being contractually obligated for the day of. She made us feel at ease going over timelines and was more than willing to have some late night discussions to ensure everything would run smoothly. The day of she was incredible at executing our vision for the night and ensuring we could relax and enjoy our wedding.

Eddy was a fantastic DJ for the night. He kept the pace of the music just right and played all our favorite songs. The portal Black Tie uses to create the playlist was incredible. We highly recommend you do what we did and just add a few songs to the recommended category and let Eddy take it from there. He clearly showed he knew exactly the type of music we wanted to hear and kept people on the dance floor the whole night!

Eddy Bobby was the DJ for our wedding this past weekend and he far surpassed our expectations! Eddy has been helpful along the entire journey through our initial meeting, review meeting, and final meeting. He was helpful and kind in all of our meetings and made sure we were getting the songs we wanted. Eddy stuck to the timeline during the wedding and made announcements in a fun professional manner. One of the most important vendors we booked was our DJ and DJ Freddy did not disappoint. From the beginning, working with Black Tie Entertainment was a no brainer choice. We spoke with the team about exactly what we were looking for and helped pair us with Freddy. Freddy was incredibly easy to work with, very attentive to detail, asking us all the questions about our taste in music, how we wanted the day to flow, and even met with us the week of the wedding to ensure that our special music choices (processional, recessional, first dances, etc) were all correct and accounted for. Our guests haven’t stopped messaging us and saying how great the music was and what a phenomenal DJ Freddy. Do yourself a favor and book him for your wedding!

Matt was so amazing. He was high energy the whole wedding, danced a bit behind the dj booth for guests making them laugh and want to dance more. He also read the room so well and changed or adjusted the music accordingly. He was lively and perfect MC as well. We highly suggest him. Also, extremely responsive throughout the whole planning process.

John with Black Tie Entertainment was absolutely amazing from start to finish! He made the entire wedding experience so easy, from all of the planning and preparation leading up to the big day to keeping the energy going all night at our wedding. We have had several friends and family members reach out afterward just to tell us how incredible our DJ was! Chris with Black Tie Entertainment was the most incredible DJ for our May 2026 wedding! During the planning process, he took the time to really get to know us and our personalities, and he was extremely responsive any time we had a question. One of the most important things to us was incorporating a surprise performance that the bride had planned for the reception. Justice did an amazing job keeping the surprise in mind throughout the evening while making sure everything was coordinated seamlessly. He was incredibly thoughtful about the timing and details, which helped us pull off the surprise exactly as planned!

My wife and I found Black Tie Entertainment through a wedding open house at Airlie Hotel. They immediately stood out due to their professionalism and hospitality and we decided to go with them as our DJ for our wedding. Once we made that decision and notified Black Tie they were quick to respond to set up a zoom meeting to go over the next steps. On that zoom meeting they went over the different DJ’s they provide and that we get to have an interview with whichever we are interested in to get a feel of their personalities and their specialties. Through those meetings we met Chris Laing, who we immediately knew we wanted to have as our DJ. He couldn’t have done a better job for our wedding day. He listened to all our requests and didn’t bat an eye when I put a video game theme as my walk down song. The reception was the best party we have ever had and the dance floor was bumpin the whole night. We got nothing but compliments from our guest about the DJ afterwards. He even helped out post wedding as I asked if he had the playlist of all he played, which he did and sent it via email to me. We couldn’t have made a better decision choosing Chris as our DJ!

Chris is awesome, he was super on top of things, willing to be flexible but stuck to the plan that we gave him for the evening. He never tried to be the center of attention (my pet peeve of wedding DJs) but helped run the whole reception smoothly. He also had a great selection of music and transitioned from different songs and vibes very well. Highly recommend!
