Working with Black Tie Entertainment was truly the best experience we could have asked for! We had an in-depth initial consultation with Victoria Lukehart, who was incredibly kind and asked us so many thoughtful and detailed questions about what we were looking for in a DJ. The consultation went beyond just our music preferences. She wanted to understand what our wedding day would look like and who we were as a couple so she could match us with the DJ who would be the best fit for us.

We ended up choosing Freddy Bonilla, which was probably one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. We first met with Freddy over Zoom several months before the wedding and instantly clicked. Black Tie’s website made adding songs easy, but Freddy made the process even easier by allowing us to share our Spotify playlist with him. He was incredibly accommodating and gave us the freedom to decide what songs we wanted played, as well as what songs we absolutely did not want played.

No matter how specific or unique our requests were, Freddy made it happen. Whether it was a very niche song we wanted played during open dancing or a specially chopped version of a song for my wife to walk down the aisle to, Freddy executed everything perfectly.

During open dancing, Freddy really showed how talented he is at reading a crowd. At one point, both of our families were talking and socializing rather than being on the dance floor, so Freddy tried several different songs and genres until he landed on Latin music. The second he found the right vibe, both of our families came rushing onto the dance floor. He kept that energy going for the rest of the night, and the dance floor stayed packed until the venue closed.

Freddy listened to everything we asked for, respected all of the parameters we set, and still brought his own expertise and ability to read the room to make the night even better than we imagined.

If you make the right choice and go with Black Tie Entertainment, do yourself another favor and book Freddy. We genuinely could not have asked for a better DJ or a better experience. We are so grateful to Victoria, Freddy, and the entire Black Tie Entertainment team for helping make our wedding night so incredible!

Black Tie Events was very prompt and professional. Our DJ, James Harris, was awesome! He was attentive, detailed, and he took the time to really get to know us and our music preferences. Throughout the evening, many of our guests commented on how anwesome our DJ was! He did a great job of choosing music based on the crowd. I highly recommend James Harris and Black Tie Events!

We can’t say enough good things about DJ Chris at Blacktie Entertainment, who was assigned to our October '26 wedding. From the start he was incredibly thorough. He walked us through every planning form and made sure we had everything filled out correctly, which took a lot off our plates in the busy months before the wedding. He went above and beyond at every step.

On the day of, he was a lifesaver. He kept everything flowing exactly as it should. Dances, speeches, and timing all went seamlessly, and we never had to worry about what came next.

Most importantly, the MUSIC! We asked for Y2K and 2010s vibes and he nailed it. Our guests are still talking about how much fun the dance floor was. At one point I noticed it was mostly our friends dancing, so I asked if he could play to a wider range of ages. He understood right away, and within one song he had every generation out on the floor. He is the kind of DJ who really reads a room.

Black Tie Entertainment provided DJ and day of coordination services for our October 2026 wedding, and we could not be happier. Through every stage of working with them, from our initial interviews to several planning calls to the actual wedding day, we were so impressed with their professionalism, their deep knowledge of the wedding industry, and ways that they could ensure our day was exactly what we wanted. DJ Matt kept the party going (and was very clear that he would 100% respect our wishes regarding must plays and do not plays, and kept his word), and Victoria, our coordinator, was simply lovely. We also really appreciate that when Victoria wasn’t able to make our rehearsal, she called in a backup coordinator with Black Tie who stepped in to help us out. Our wedding ran like clockwork and the only tears were happy ones. It’s not hard to see why Black Tie Entertainment was literally at the top of our venue’s list of recommended vendors—I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Our DJ Angelica was absolutely incredible! She kept the vibes and the party going all night nonstop! Her communication was great and she was willing to meet at any time with us leading up to the wedding to talk through any of our questions. We can't recommend Black Tie Entertainment enough and especially Angelica as she really made our evening the best possible night!

Working with Jason was a breeze. He was very professional and easy to work with. He gave great feedback and advice for songs that he believed would be a hit. He had everyone on the dance floor all night celebrating. I would highly recommend working with Jason.

She executed our timeline seamlessly, kept the entire evening flowing smoothly, and—most importantly—kept the dance floor packed all night long!

So many of our friends and family came up to us during and after the wedding to compliment how awesome the music and atmosphere were. We had the BEST experience with Black Tie Entertainment and Mike! Mike was amazing from start to finish and was honestly one of our favorite vendors to work with.

He was super helpful during the planning process and gave us great advice along the way. On the wedding day, he handled our ceremony music, cocktail hour, reception, MCing, uplighting, dance lighting, and selfie booth, and everything went so smoothly. He did such a great job keeping the energy up and really reading the crowd throughout the night. Our dance floor was packed, and we are still getting compliments from guests about how awesome Mike was!

One of my favorite little things was that we were able to practice our first dance in the reception space before everyone came in, which was such a thoughtful touch and definitely helped calm our nerves.

We would 100% recommend Mike and Black Tie Entertainment to anyone getting married. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ or a better experience!

We had the absolute best experience with Angelica from Black Tie Entertainment! She was amazing from start to finish and played such a huge role in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. The dance floor was one of the most important parts of our wedding, and she absolutely delivered. We had about two hours of dancing, and the dance floor was packed and full of energy the entire time. It was truly a 10/10 and exactly the kind of party we wanted!

We also rented the selfie booth through Black Tie Entertainment, and it was such a hit with our guests. Everyone had so much fun with it, and we loved having all of the pictures and memories from the night.

We are so grateful to Angelica and the entire Black Tie Entertainment team for helping make our wedding such an incredible celebration. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ who knows how to keep the party going!

Our DJ & MC, Mike with Black Tie Entertainment, helped make our wedding day unforgettable. Their full team was incredibly professional, accommodating to our wants/needs, timely in all manners, and brought so much energy to make the full day the perfect experience. They are very familiar working our venue at Stone Tower Winery so the expertise was on point.
