We worked with Eddy Bobby as our wedding DJ and Victoria Lukehart as our day of coordinator.

Victoria did an amazing job and was worth every penny spent. She worked with us for the entire month of the wedding, despite only being contractually obligated for the day of. She made us feel at ease going over timelines and was more than willing to have some late night discussions to ensure everything would run smoothly. The day of she was incredible at executing our vision for the night and ensuring we could relax and enjoy our wedding.

Eddy was a fantastic DJ for the night. He kept the pace of the music just right and played all our favorite songs. The portal Black Tie uses to create the playlist was incredible. We highly recommend you do what we did and just add a few songs to the recommended category and let Eddy take it from there. He clearly showed he knew exactly the type of music we wanted to hear and kept people on the dance floor the whole night!

I highly recommend you book both Victoria and Eddy if you want an unforgettable night!

We had a blast working with DJ Rick of Black Tie Entertainment! Rick was the emcee/DJ at our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. He was energetic and engaging with our guests, not to mention, he has great taste in music. We gave him two lists of our favorite songs and he ran with them and put together a playlist that was super fun. We and our guests danced all night. He also kept the flow of our ceremony and reception going at a good pace. Overall, Rick was professional, communicative, and made it very easy for us to plan out our wedding day with him.

DJ Eddy Bobby and Coordinator Victoria Lukehart were absolute STARS for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding! We could not have asked for a more perfect experience with either of them. Every. Single. Thing. that they said they would do, they did, and they made the planning and execution go off without a hitch. We do not have a single complaint. Regarding Eddy Bobby: he was excellent at "reading the room" and playing the music that best suited the floor to keep the party going strong for the whole evening. Regarding Victoria Lukehart: a true professional (okay, they both are), BUT I am an organizer at heart and have difficulty letting go, so to speak, in general. I had no issues whatsoever with leaving details in Victoria's hands. Our entire plan came together with minimal input from us on the day of, and the bride and groom were able to fully relax and enjoy their day. I can't say enough good things about these two, but I also wanted to add that the up-lighting and selfie station they provided were a huge hit as well!

We booked Mike Interdonato along with dance floor lighting and uplighting for a good price. Black Tie is very organized and makes the process seamless. The DJ portal is a great tool to congregate all music-related info in one place. Mike was very organized and detail-oriented. He made sure to capture every change to our timeline and made recommendations along the way. He brought great energy to the dance floor while reading the room.

Overall, we had a good experience with Black Tie Entertainment (DJ: Gene Griffin). He was flexible, responsible, and easy to work with. We picked a lot of the music ourselves (including songs that needed external download), and when Gene had room to choose, he picked songs that fit our wedding well. We also sent him a song change only a few days before the wedding, and he was able to make the change for us.

There were a few small, somewhat nitpicky things that we think could have been handled better, though none of them negatively impacted our wedding overall. First, we never got a confirmation of the last-minute song change and were unsure if it would happen. Second, we had to redo part of our planning after a technical issue with the company's platform. This isn't Gene's fault, but the system did feel a bit outdated. Third, the timing we had noted for one of our entrances wasn’t followed, so we had to stop and restart the music for the choreography. Lastly, towards the end of the night, we directly asked Gene to help gather guests, but he wanted to wait for the planner, which led to a few guests leaving before the final activity.

On the flipside, Gene did a great job in the things that mattered most. From the very beginning of planning our wedding, we knew that our guests would be a difficult group to work with. We're a cross-cultural couple, had a wide spread of guest ages and a limited guest count, and knew it would be really difficult to keep everyone entertained towards the end of the night. Gene really did a phenomenal job in reassuring us and did well (given our crowd) at being our DJ. From that angle, we're really appreciative of Gene and how he contributed to making our wedding a special day.

Overall, Gene did a solid job and was very accommodating with our music choices. We just think a bit more communication and attention to the smaller details would have made the whole experience smoother.

We had a 10/10 experience with DJ Chris at Black Tie Entertainment. He adapted the music to our preferences and the energy of the room, and had us dancing for almost 3 hours. We really appreciated Chris' savvy as an emcee. He coordinated the ceremony flow with our officiant and perfectly managed transitions throughout the night. We highly recommend BTE and Chris!!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Mr James Harris for our wedding and there just isn't enough I can say about how enjoyable that experience was.
To start, Black Tie Ent. overall is a great company to work with, they really know how to lead you to the right DJ for your event.
After making our choice, the planning process was a breeze.
James is so much fun to work with!!! Very communicative, open minded, patient, and helpful the whole entire time. Most importantly to us, he showed he was genuinely excited to be a part of the event and vibe we were trying to set. When it came down to our actual wedding day, he did not at all disappoint!!
He's very quick to adapt to whats going on in the enviornment, definitely knows how to keep the party going no matter what is going on.
James was a huge part of our wedding day vision coming to life, delivered exactly the energy we were looking for and we are just so grateful for everything! Truly an experience we will never forget.

John Coulter was great. The guests were all enjoying themselves. He got a lot of compliments from the guests. We ended up moving along quicker than we thought with some of the little events. John was great with changing directions and making everything seem like we intended it that way. He took it upon himself to figure out the venues lights. He changed the lights as needed with the time of day.

Eddy Bobby was the DJ for our wedding this past weekend and he far surpassed our expectations! Eddy has been helpful along the entire journey through our initial meeting, review meeting, and final meeting. He was helpful and kind in all of our meetings and made sure we were getting the songs we wanted. Eddy stuck to the timeline during the wedding and made announcements in a fun professional manner. I would highly recommend Eddy for DJ services!

One of the most important vendors we booked was our DJ and DJ Freddy did not disappoint. From the beginning, working with Black Tie Entertainment was a no brainer choice. We spoke with the team about exactly what we were looking for and helped pair us with Freddy. Freddy was incredibly easy to work with, very attentive to detail, asking us all the questions about our taste in music, how we wanted the day to flow, and even met with us the week of the wedding to ensure that our special music choices (processional, recessional, first dances, etc) were all correct and accounted for. Our guests haven’t stopped messaging us and saying how great the music was and what a phenomenal DJ Freddy. Do yourself a favor and book him for your wedding!
