Excellent and Accommodating
My husband and I loved the River View the second we saw it. It’s in a beautiful location with lots of great spots for pictures. Cori and Fern we’re so great especially when the pandemic happened. They came up with a great plan for us and kept us updated. When the wedding was approaching, Cori and Fern answered all my questions super quickly which I appreciated. The day of our wedding the day, the venue looked beautiful and everyone loved it! If there was an issue or a question we had, we could go up to the coordinator and she would handle it. We didn’t have to think at all! The staff was friendly and were super safe (wearing masks and gloves). We couldn’t have been happier.Sent on 10/27/2020

I threw more than a few temper tantrums towards my now husband insisting upon this venue and wow I’m so glad I did and only a little ashamed about it.
This place is gorgeous at all times of the year. The building itself is such a nice modern vibe it’s a nice change from all the barns in this area! The windows are so gorgeous and the view of the river is perfect! I love all of our pics from this place!Sent on 11/17/2020

The Perfect Venue!
The Riverview at Occoquan was my absolute number 1 choice for our wedding venue. The floor to ceiling windows and the open concept layout was the perfect space for what our wedding planner and I envisioned. The Coordinators (Cori, Fern, and Brooke) were always so responsive. When the government stay-at-home mandate was put in place and all large gatherings were postponed the staff immediately reached out to let us know what our options were and they were very flexible with cancellations and rescheduling. The catering services provided by Great Blue Heron was also very impressive. Our guests certainly enjoyed their meals. The ONLY downfall of the venue is the uneven/patchy grass in the outdoor ceremony space.Sent on 09/03/2020
Team of The River View
Hospitality & Event Sales Manager
Cori Talbot | CMP, PCA & IAVM member
As a graduate of the University of Florida, I have worked in both the public and private sectors of hospitality & events. From medieval fairs to art festivals, historic community events to wine festivals, and finally from large-scale conventions to weddings, I feel I have a one-of-a-kind view on event planning.
In my role as the Hospitality & Events Sales Manager for The River View with NOVA Parks, I work directly with clients from the touring phase, throughout planning, and during the day-of execution. I have been in this role for three years and I LOVE helping clients make their day go smoothly.
