This romantic property features a bright and modern ballroom that has a breathtaking view of a scenic golf course. The team of dedicated event staff here will work with you to ensure that every element of your day is carefully considered and expertly executed.
Facilities and Capacity
Montgomery Country Club offers a ballroom wedding space that can accommodate up to 170 guests. Though, if you love the great outdoors, the golf course makes for an idyllic ceremony location, with its pristine natural surroundings and the hills of Laytonsville, Maryland. Surrounding the golf fairways are expansive green spaces, seven beautiful water features, and flora and fauna. For any other plans you have in mind, the club’s patio is a unique rehearsal-dinner or cocktail-hour setting. It overlooks the golf course and features two 65-inch televisions and a gas fire pit.
Services Offered
The lead event coordinator at Montgomery Country Club offers expert wedding planning services to happy couples. With a wealth of experience, their team will provide ongoing planning support, vendor recommendations, and the expertise needed to bring your dreams to life. Dressing rooms are also provided on your wedding day, giving you a comfortable place to prep. As a bonus, all of the private country club activities are available to both members and non-members. The club features a swimming pool and a variety of fun opportunities for you and your guests to enjoy. To ensure that everyone has access to the property, parking is complimentary for your guests.
Cuisine
Every wedding held at the country club is provided with full-service catering. Customized menu options are available and include a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Meals can be served as buffets, family-style, or plated, and depending on the weather, both indoor and outdoor serving options are available. Barware, china, flatware, glassware, and linens are always included in wedding packages.

The Carlson Wedding Experience
In the ballroom, the wedding vows were exchanged under a beautiful archway of greenery complimented by the gorgeous backdrop of the MCC landscape. Following the ceremony, our guests enjoyed a lovely cocktail hour on the patio while staff, under the direction of Ms Lewis, transformed the ballroom into an elegant reception venue, resplendent with table settings featuring floral center pieces and candles. An absolutely delicious dinner, prepared by chef Katrina, was served, followed by a delightful evening of dancing and socializing with friends and family.
Our guests all raved about what a fantastic time they had and we all left feeling exuberance and utter joy at the end of the evening.
All of Valencia’s recommendations for the wedding were exceptional. The DJ provided by Everything Entertainment, for both the ceremony and reception, filled the atmosphere with lighting, a photo booth, great musical choices, as well as contributing to the smooth flow of events. Jennifer Lust Portrait Design captured and created the most stunning images of the entire day from beginning to end. The Enchanted Florist provided the most beautiful flower arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres. Custom Cake Design delivered a wonderful cake, as well as a secondary gluten free cake choice for those who needed that option. Angie Retzos printed the smartly designed place cards. The Holiday Inn, Gaithersburg, provided safe shuttle transportation for our guests to and from the wedding as well as comfortable rooms and breakfast the next morning.
We could not have been more pleased with the service and wonderful setting of Montgomery Country Club. Valencia Lewis and the entire staff delivered a day that will remain one of our most cherished memories.
