We are so grateful we were able to hire Najla as our wedding coordinator. She was professional and organized and so so helpful. She did a wonderful job keeping us on track with the planning process even when we got overwhelmed by all the choices. We didn't have a strong vision for what the day should look like, but she was able to take the bits and pieces we did have and create a cohesive design for us, and it was so perfect. Her vendor recommendations were on point, she knows the Portland wedding scene well, and she was just a joy to work with. Thank you Najla!

Sweety is the best wedding planner around! She worked so hard to plan our wedding and made sure everything was how we had imagined! She is so creative and has such a beautiful personality. She was exactly what we needed for our wedding. Weddings can be stressful and in addition to ensuring wedding preparation was moving smoothly, she always made sure that we were doing okay and kept reassuring us that everything would be okay. Our wedding was fantastic and so much fun. I highly recommend Sweety and her team at Eventcracker!

We are so grateful to have worked with Will and Melissa for our May wedding! Despite the stress that comes with wedding planning, they streamlined the entire process, making it feel both manageable and fun. They kept us at ease by responding to emails quickly, providing excellent vendor recommendations, and even offering a sound system for rent. On the day itself, Melissa made the experience truly magical. She handled everything behind the scenes—from setting up decor and capturing candid photos to ensuring we stayed fed and hydrated—all with a warm smile. She even managed our guest book and packed up our belongings at the end of the night so we could simply enjoy the moment. Vanessa was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding planner and then some. Jodie is the absolute best!! I wasn't sure about the investment of a wedding planner—but boy am I glad I went with Jodie. I had a lot of big dreams + ideas and Jodie made them all come to life (within budget!!!) Day of she was an absolute pro and I worried about NOTHING. 10/10 would recommend to any bride!!!!

We hired Dorotheea from Kamea Events for her Full Service Wedding Planning package, and it was hands down the BEST decision that we could've made for our August 2023 wedding. Let me tell you why: My (then) fiance and I had a two-year engagement. Originally, we decided to get married at a very popular, full-service wedding venue in the Hood River area. However, several months after booking the venue, I had a change of heart and vision for our wedding. We decided that we wanted to have an intimate 100-person wedding in the backyard of an AirBnb in the Willamette Valley. I was so worried about what this shift would mean for the rest of our wedding planning process. When I called Dorotheea to tell her the news she said: "Don't worry, I've got this." Cue huge sigh of relief! Planning a backyard AirBnb wedding is no easy feat, as we had to essentially create a wedding venue from a completely blank canvas. We had to rent portable restrooms, figure out the power source for the band, and create an outdoor kitchen area for the catering company (just to name a few unique challenges!). Dorotheea handled everything we threw at her with poise, flexibility, and ease. Throughout the entire process, Dorotheea was communicative, professional, and knowledgeable. She does an amazing job serving her couples by being an excellent listener to extract exactly what is the most important to you about your wedding. You can tell that her goal really is to create a wedding that is uniquely tailored to you and your partner. On top of that, we truly felt like Dorotheea was our biggest advocate and source of support throughout the entire wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding, Dorotheea was calm, yet assertive, and I had complete confidence in her ability to lead our wonderful team of vendors. Everything went off without a hitch, and it was truly the best wedding my (now) husband and I had ever been to! Most importantly, it felt like us. I would highly recommend Dorotheea for any of your wedding planning needs - from elopements to intimate backyard weddings to full-scale weddings at traditional venues. Whether you are located in the Pacific Northwest (Washington & Oregon) or New England (Boston), rest assured that you will be in the very best of hands with Dorotheea from Kamea Events.

Originally for my wedding I was contracted with a different coordinator, due to unforeseen circumstances in her life, my original coordinator had to transfer my services to Caitlyn a few months before my wedding, which was definitely nerve wracking being I hadn’t heard of Celebration Event Planning before and was now entrusting them with one of the biggest days of my life….I could not have been left in BETTER hands! Caitlyn quickly made sure had all the details for my big day down in notes, we zoom called, she did weekly check ins month of, I was sent a detailed questionnaire, and she even went and bought a outfit to match my color pallet for the wedding which was so cute and felt above and beyond!! She made all of this happen while she was getting married as well!! She got back from her honeymoon the DAY BEFORE my wedding yet she never skipped a beat on fast replies, checking in, and really memorizing all the little details. I absolutely could not recommend a better coordinator for your wedding day to any prospective brides looking!!

We hired Gabrielle as our wedding planner but unfortunately had a conflict come up a few weeks later (through no fault of her own) that prevented us from sticking with her. She handled the situation with grace and integrity, where I doubt few other vendors would have. In the time we worked together her knowledge and experience shone through. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Barbara and BLC Events made our wedding - and the wedding planning experience - an absolute dream. I was so confident that every detail had been addressed so thoroughly that I was able to enjoy my wedding day completely stress-free. I went into wedding planning with very specific ideas of what I wanted, but with a strict budget and limited timeline. Barbara took in all my ideas without question, and laid out a plan for how to make it happen. She was able to see the core value of what I wanted out of my most extravagant ideas and scale them back to solutions that I could not only afford, but were better than I even imagined. The entire process was organized, efficient, and professional. Barbara’s many years of event planning experience showed in her attention to not just the smallest details, but to larger logistics that we never would have thought of. We chose particularly challenging ceremony and reception venues, but Barbara was able to recognize every potential issue and address it to the best degree possible. She communicated each solution to us, and to our vendors, clearly, respectfully and without a doubt that she would be able to execute it. Simply put our wedding would not have been a success without Barbara and BLC Events. We are so grateful for the personal care that was put into making our day perfect, and I could not recommend BLC Events more.
