Kandice is a goddess. We met her at my wife's wedding actually, where she was the planner! I was immediately drawn to her energy, and had to instagram follow her right after that wedding :) When my wife and I were engaged, we enlisted Kandice to help us Type B easy-going people to help us plan the date for a November wedding in Seattle. After the election though, Bess and I had a shift in priorities and wanted to move the date ahead by 6 months! We wanted a wedding that was still meaningful and pretty and queer and fun, but not as big of a production, and we had an option for people to donate to charities in lieu of gifts. Kandice was super on board and she happened to be free the weekend that we chose for our new date. We really put her to the test with that timeline! She found us the perfect outdoor venue for the ceremony at the Pacific Connections Garden at the Arboretum. She was the main point of contact for the food, the reception, the ceremony, Pauly D the speaker guy (yikes), our photographer Chelsea Terry (amazing) and every other detail you have to think about for weddings! Kandice got to know us so well through this process, and is an excellent listener and helped our vision become a reality. The wedding was a blast. I was obsessed with Kandice from the start and now I feel honored that we have developed a friendship. She has a heart of gold and sparkles, and she is a true champion. She works tirelessly and is such a great communicator. Every family is unique and has their own quirks, and she is super understanding and good with people. I loved every moment working with her! It was a true honor.

If you want a wedding planner who really "gets it" and really makes an effort to listen to the things you want on your big day, Kandice is your woman! She's very detail oriented and will get in touch with anyone and everyone to make sure you get what you want. She connects to her clients, is hilarious and real, and her love for this profession really shines through. I would HIGHLY recommend Rose & Stone to help you plan your big day.

Can't say enough good things about Kandice. We used her for day-of coordination; she was a godsend on our wedding day (and prior to). Things WILL go wrong if you're DIYing it, even if you think you're a master planner. It was great to have someone to handle that stuff, so we could be as stress free as possible. Plus, she's friendly, really cool, incredibly responsive, and will go the extra mile(s) for you. If you're on the fence about needing services like these, I have to say, dollar for dollar, the value Kandice added to our day was 3,000% worth it. But really, I'm not even sure that's hyperbole.

Rose & Stone is the wedding business that the wedding industry needs! I was overwhelmed when I started looking for a coordinator for my outdoor wedding, and I felt a sense of "fakeness" from some of the coordinators I connected with. But when I first connected with Kandice, all of my worries went out the window and I knew that she would be the best and only person who could embrace all the quirks of my wedding plans.

Throughout the entire process Kandice was incredibly kind, attentive to detail, very flexible, understanding of our needs, and always available when we needed her. All of our vendors raved about working with her and she even helped us find some of our favorite vendors, who were the perfect fit for our wedding vision.

From finding intricacies in our vendor contracts that we didn't see at first, to bustling my dress on the day of the wedding, and getting to know our families and friends before the big day, Kandice was truly an integral part of our wedding day.

The weather changed dramatically just a few days before the wedding, and Kandice totally rallied together a "Plan B" that was the perfect answer to the nonstop rain we were surprised with. She coordinated with all of the vendors, secured tenting, and created a beautiful atmosphere that we couldn't have dreamed up if we tried.

It was the best day ever and I mean it when I say that it would not have been possible without Rose & Stone!

From the moment I first chatted with Kandice, I knew I was in good hands. She is organized, detailed and a wealth of knowledge to help make your day perfect. She was always available to answer my multitude of questions and made me feel confident that my big day was going to be a flawless as it could be. On the day of, she helped this type A bride relax and enjoy the day. I knew that she had everything under control and that I didn't even need to stress. Even more than that, she helped my Mom stay calm and reassure her that things were going to be fine. Kandice is just simply the best and I cannot say enough good things about her!
