Samantha was an absolutely incredible day-of wedding coordinator and played a huge role in making our non-traditional backyard wedding feel smooth, relaxed, and truly us. Starting from our first prep call months before the wedding, she gave us professional advice and recommendations to make the day run smoothly and how to turn our family's house/backyard into our wedding 'venue' (there are so many things we wouldn't have even thought of!). We especially appreciated how she helped us figure out what was truly critical and how to thoughtfully incorporate our more nontraditional ideas.

On our wedding day, Samantha was always thinking 5 steps ahead, and when last-minute logistics questions popped up, she handled them calmly and confidently, allowing us & our family to stay fully present. We received many compliments from guests about how seamless everything felt, and that’s 100% thanks to Samantha. Hiring Samantha was one of the best decisions we made!

My partner and I booked Samantha for our wedding after we saw her advertising at the Portland parks wedding registration day event. We wanted a cool, low-key, non-traditional wedding, and after talking with a few planners, it was clear that out of everyone, Samantha immediately understood the vibe we were shooting for. We booked partial planning and day-of coordination.

To say that we wholeheartedly recommend Samantha is an understatement. She was such a joy to work with through the whole process. Coming into the process, our plan was to have our friends cater our big park wedding, at the Mt Tabor amphitheater. Basically a DIY giant park barbecue! That, obviously, means a lot of moving parts and ambiguities because none of our friends actually lived in Portland.

I don't think we could have pulled it off without Samantha. In our first meeting, we told her our plans, and she immediately went into problem solving mode. She knew of community kitchens we could talk to, different vendors we could rent grills from, and knew from her years of experience, what other necessities we'd have to rent in order for our wedding to be a huge success.

As we moved closer to the wedding, Samantha found us all our vendors, from sustainable florist to photos. She has a lot of connections to the wedding planning community in the region, and is sure to know someone if she herself can't do whatever you need.

The week of the wedding, Samantha walked through the venue with us, shared her very detailed notes on everything, walked us through her coordination for the day, and was a generally very calming presence, including finding a last minute sound system after a rental fell through.

Our fond memories of the day were only possible thanks to the thoughtful and professional work that Samantha put into making our wedding truly ours.

Samantha was great! We had a few issues with a couple of our vendors and she handled them like a champ so that the guests didn’t know there was a problem. We would definitely recommend her 10 out of 10.

We are SO grateful we hired Samantha from Bloom Events as our planner! From day one, she made everything easy and genuinely enjoyable. She handled vendor communication, built us a super organized timeline, and even reminded us of little things we never would’ve thought of (like arranging transportation for grandparents and creating a backup rain plan that looked just as beautiful as Plan A!). On the wedding day, Samantha was incredible at setting up the décor exactly how we pictured it, keeping the wedding party on schedule, and fixing a last minute boutonniere issue before I even knew it happened. Because of her, we were able to relax and fully enjoy the day. If you want a planner who is friendly, detail oriented, and truly invested in making your wedding perfect, Samantha is the one. Couldn’t recommend more!

We swear there were three Samanthas working ahead of the day and on the day of our daughter's wedding. She was that good. Every single thing that needed to be done was done perfectly. She was focused, steady and always one step ahead. We never had to worry about a thing. Samantha was born to do this, and we will be forever thankful to have found her!
