Once I was engaged, I knew I had to find a wedding planner because I'm not good with details and dealing with stress. I went online to Google wedding planners in the Los Angeles area. There were several wedding planners I located and began setting up appointments. Uyen was the third person I spoke with. Although, I had several other wedding planners to meet with, once I spoke with Uyen, my decision was made. She asked if I lived in L.A., because my phone number prefix is 610. I explained to her that I lived in L.A. but my husband’s business is in Reading, Pennsylvania. Uyen immediately told me she grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania. That was the beginning of our great connection. Once I flew back to Los Angeles, I met with Uyen and the wedding preparations were in progress. She was perfect and not to pushy. In addition, she bought me a Lemon Drop Martini. It amazed me how knowledgeable she was about the Los Angels area, since she wasn't from California. From time to time I would become a "bridal bitch" and it never threw her off of her game. Uyen and her company, Sassy Girl Weddings, had more than several vendors to choose from. The options ranged from DJs, photographers, florist, etc. My husband and I really liked how she didn’t sway us to pick one vendor over the other. Being that all vendors were highly preferred, it was hard to choose from. To sum it up, Uyen was a breath of fresh air. She made sure everything flowed smoothly but didn’t “take over” my special day. Yet, she held my hand throughout the entire wedding process ranging from picking out the wedding dress to giving me medicine for my headache after having too much to drink before the wedding. She was very attentive to our needs. By choosing “Sassy Girl Weddings”, not only will you be satisfied with the professionalism but you'll be giving yourself the biggest wedding gift ever. First, I'd like to say I wish I could give more stars!!! Devon was absolutely FANTASTIC! She was there with us, and for us, every step of the way. Because of Devon, I had such a stress free wedding day! I knew everything was taken care of and would be exactly how we wanted. When I got lipstick on the front of my dress, she ran up to the room to save the day! I cannot say enough great things about Devon! Hiring her was the best decision of the whole planning process!

After our traditional wedding plans fell through (2020 is wild y'all), we had given up trying and were just going to sign papers in our officiant's parking lot. But we were introduced to Rita at Jackrabbit Weddings a few weeks before our date and she completely saved the day! We had a quick Zoom call where we went over our taste and then she took it from there. We showed up to a beautiful ceremony set up in the middle of a forest. The arch was incredible, our flowers were beautiful, the photographer felt like we'd known her for years. We had such a beautiful, memorable, stress-free elopement thanks to everyone involved! I'd recommend this business to anyone who wants a perfect day without any of the work.
