Once I was engaged, I knew I had to find a wedding planner because I'm not good with details and dealing with stress. I went online to Google wedding planners in the Los Angeles area. There were several wedding planners I located and began setting up appointments. Uyen was the third person I spoke with. Although, I had several other wedding planners to meet with, once I spoke with Uyen, my decision was made. She asked if I lived in L.A., because my phone number prefix is 610. I explained to her that I lived in L.A. but my husband’s business is in Reading, Pennsylvania. Uyen immediately told me she grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania. That was the beginning of our great connection.

Once I flew back to Los Angeles, I met with Uyen and the wedding preparations were in progress. She was perfect and not to pushy. In addition, she bought me a Lemon Drop Martini. It amazed me how knowledgeable she was about the Los Angels area, since she wasn't from California.

From time to time I would become a "bridal bitch" and it never threw her off of her game. Uyen and her company, Sassy Girl Weddings, had more than several vendors to choose from. The options ranged from DJs, photographers, florist, etc. My husband and I really liked how she didn’t sway us to pick one vendor over the other. Being that all vendors were highly preferred, it was hard to choose from. To sum it up, Uyen was a breath of fresh air. She made sure everything flowed smoothly but didn’t “take over” my special day. Yet, she held my hand throughout the entire wedding process ranging from picking out the wedding dress to giving me medicine for my headache after having too much to drink before the wedding. She was very attentive to our needs.
