Will and his team made our wedding absolutely seamless! He thought of every detail, and was extremely thorough on every planning call, meeting, and the day of. We left each conversation feeling more prepared. The team was generous in their time, professionalism, and kindness at the wedding day. One of my favorite parts of the day was the team continually refreshing my drink without even asking! Melissa, Will and the rest of the crew at Don't Mess with the Bride were our planners for our summer solstice garden wedding. If you need extra help with planning, it is worth the large package. We didn't and we wish we had, but that is not a reflection on the team at DMWTB.

Our wedding was flawless. I do not say this lightly, absolutely NOTHING went wrong from the perspective from not one, but two brides. If something happened, we had no clue and we fully credit the professionalism, care and quality of service that we received from DMWTB. Throughout the day multiple guests came up to us to complement how kind and helpful the staff were. Both brides were perfectly catered to on our wedding and we are so grateful.

The DMWTB team were wonderful in helping us coordinate the day of our wedding. Will was informative throughout the process and helped our wedding be a success. On our wedding day, they made sure that we did not lack for anything. They were also flexible with scheduling appointments pre-wedding. We are thankful for them.

Will and Sonya were a pleasure to work with. We did the vast majority of our coordination work with Will, who provided a scheduling website that tracked all details of the wedding (timeline, responsibilities, contact info of vendors and helpers, etc.) Will also had helpful advice on the timing of the day, ceremony details, cocktail hour duration, etc. Sonya was our day-of coordinator and was also a joy to work with. She helped with decor even though we hadn't paid for her to do so, and she ran a really smooth ceremony rehearsal. Her personality and kept things fun and lively. There was a small snafoo with one of our vendors and she contacted the right people in our group to ensure we were able to communicate out important info to the whole guest list.

If you're looking to create a beautiful, meaningful, wholly non-traditional wedding, look no furhter: Don't Mess With the Bride is your day-of coordinator. Other day-of coordinators, we've found, get squirrelly when you shake things up: we interviewed people who wanted to take all the decor planning out of our hands, or who tried to convince us our ideas weren't going to work and we'd have regrets, and so on. We were ready to offer to pay a friend with stage management experience to run the show for us. But Will was 100% on board with everything we wanted to do. He asked thoughtful questions, shared a number of resources to make sure we'd thought of everything and stayed on track, and never once doubted our vision. His assistant, Mathieu, was similarly excited for us, and proved to be not only a master of pacifying the mother of the bride, but a hit with our guests as well! Both of them are incredibly professional, know exactly what they're doing, and ready to be the support you need to plan your own wedding and do things your way.

Will, Sonya, and the whole DMWTB crew was a dream to work with. They really helped us and our guests be ourselves and facilitated a wedding that felt so authentic to us and our people. Even when we were planning from another time zone, Will was so quick to get back to us and help get what we needed taken care of. 11/10 DMWTB is the best!

Coming from someone who had no idea what she wanted / needed to plan for a wedding, Will and his team were INCREDIBLE.
We had 3-4? meetings prior to the event and will had such great targeted questions to prompt us about the timeline, specific things we may or may not want to include and other vendors and things we needed to anticipate for the day of. They helped us with a practice walk-through, timing for the day and coordination of all the other bits and pieces that needed to happen.
I think the amazing part happened on the actual day *of* the wedding, which is that I didn't hear a THING about what was happening in the event space, with vendors, with family, etc, even though after the fact I heard they were definitely in problem solving mode the whole time!!
Aside from being excellent event planners and coordinators, they took the time and did a few extra special things that we are so grateful for.
They delivered drinks / snacks to us throughout the day and made sure to check in on us a few times, without hovering, they were the perfect amount of available, but sneaky :) they also helped set up our guestbook table and used some random extra decorations in a way that I never would have thought! The little extra touches make everything so special, and I'm so glad we found this company.

If you're on the fence about hiring Don't Mess With the Bride, JUST DO IT!! We had a small wedding (30 people) and didn't know if a day-of planner would be necessary, but it 100% was. Will's organization before the big day was very helpful, and he brought up multiple things that I never would have thought about. We also used their stereo rental, which worked perfectly.
