Don't Mess With The Bride is a one-of-a-kind Wedding Coordinator and Planner. We specialize in DIY Couples with some planning along the way. Want help from Engagement to Happily Ever After? We do that too! Here's what makes us different:

- We offer Male & Female Event Managers. We offer a different, no-drama approach to any bumps in the road. Cool and collected is how we roll.

- Our Emergency Kit includes: a drill, extension cords, wire, rope, plug adaptors, a hammer, glue, duct tape (lots of it) and extra snacks! Most emergencies that we've run into call for one of the above... Bobby Pins and tissues... We can find that too, but more than likely, you've got that covered!

- We offer staff from 1 - 10 folks! If you just want someone to keep you on schedule from your rehearsal to the toasts, we can do that. If you want us to transform a room from ceremony to reception in less than an hour? We can do that too!

- We can boss your friends around. We have no issues telling your friends what to do... To save on budget, just give us several "muscle" and "Finesse" and we'll make Wedding Magic happen!

10/10 experience!!!

Will and his team made our wedding absolutely seamless! He thought of every detail, and was extremely thorough on every planning call, meeting, and the day of. We left each conversation feeling more prepared. The team was generous in their time, professionalism, and kindness at the wedding day. One of my favorite parts of the day was the team continually refreshing my drink without even asking! I felt like a true VIP - as if being the bride wasn't enough :) I am so grateful for their dedication to their work and for their special contribution to our day. I wholeheartedly recommend that you hire Will and DMWTB for your wedding!!!

Hiring Will and his team was one of the best decisions we made for our big day, and we recommend DMWTB wholeheartedly! He helped us think through lots of little details we would’ve missed (we'd originally decided to plan everything ourselves), was always super responsive, and really helped us bring to life the vision we had for our wedding (intimate and somewhat non-traditional). Day of, we were able to fully be present with our guests and each other while Will coordinated everything. It was honestly perfect.

One of the Best Decisions We Made for Our Wedding

We decided to hire Melissa just three weeks before our wedding, and I am so incredibly grateful that we did.

She jumped in immediately, creating the timelines and structure we needed. Her communication was amazing—clear, responsive, calm, and incredibly organized.

We had several vendors and a handful of crew helping throughout the day, and Melissa somehow coordinated everyone seamlessly. She and Amy never stopped—tidying, helping with food, keeping everything moving, and making sure my husband and I were taken care of. She never overstepped, yet whenever we needed guidance, her advice was thoughtful and grounding. Everyone working that day genuinely enjoyed working with them.

Melissa was also incredibly thoughtful in ways that went far beyond simply coordinating our wedding. We felt genuinely cared for from beginning to end.

Looking back, hiring Melissa was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She allowed us to be present instead of managing the day ourselves, and that was priceless. We cannot recommend Melissa and Don’t Mess with the Bride highly enough.

A perfect summer solstice wedding

Melissa, Will and the rest of the crew at Don't Mess with the Bride were our planners for our summer solstice garden wedding. If you need extra help with planning, it is worth the large package. We didn't and we wish we had, but that is not a reflection on the team at DMWTB.

Our wedding was flawless. I do not say this lightly, absolutely NOTHING went wrong from the perspective from not one, but two brides. If something happened, we had no clue and we fully credit the professionalism, care and quality of service that we received from DMWTB. Throughout the day multiple guests came up to us to complement how kind and helpful the staff were. Both brides were perfectly catered to on our wedding and we are so grateful.

We want to give a special shout out to Melissa, our wedding was the first time she led an event and she absolutely ROCKED it. She gave us a beautiful little gift for our wedding that was so thoughtfully chosen, it made us tear up.

Worth every cent and then some. Thank you! 💚🖤

Dream team for the perfect day!

We are so grateful to have worked with Will and Melissa for our May wedding! Despite the stress that comes with wedding planning, they streamlined the entire process, making it feel both manageable and fun. They kept us at ease by responding to emails quickly, providing excellent vendor recommendations, and even offering a sound system for rent. On the day itself, Melissa made the experience truly magical. She handled everything behind the scenes—from setting up decor and capturing candid photos to ensuring we stayed fed and hydrated—all with a warm smile. She even managed our guest book and packed up our belongings at the end of the night so we could simply enjoy the moment. The peace of mind Melissa provided turned our wedding into a dream, and I would highly recommend DMWTB to anyone getting married!

Kay & Sam's Wedding

Our coordinator Melissa was absolutely incredible! They made the entire wedding process so smooth and stress-free, and I can honestly say my day went perfectly because of them. Every detail was handled seamlessly, and they worked so well with all of our vendors—every single one commented on how much they loved working with them.
They were professional, organized, and so calm, which kept me at ease the whole time. From start to finish, I never had to worry about a thing, and that gave me the freedom to just enjoy every moment of the day.
If you’re looking for someone who will not only make your wedding beautiful but also make the experience effortless, I can’t recommend them enough!

August wedding

The DMWTB team were wonderful in helping us coordinate the day of our wedding. Will was informative throughout the process and helped our wedding be a success. On our wedding day, they made sure that we did not lack for anything. They were also flexible with scheduling appointments pre-wedding. We are thankful for them.

Thanks DMWTB team!

Will and Sonya were a pleasure to work with. We did the vast majority of our coordination work with Will, who provided a scheduling website that tracked all details of the wedding (timeline, responsibilities, contact info of vendors and helpers, etc.) Will also had helpful advice on the timing of the day, ceremony details, cocktail hour duration, etc. Sonya was our day-of coordinator and was also a joy to work with. She helped with decor even though we hadn't paid for her to do so, and she ran a really smooth ceremony rehearsal. Her personality and kept things fun and lively. There was a small snafoo with one of our vendors and she contacted the right people in our group to ensure we were able to communicate out important info to the whole guest list.

Perfect Non-Traditional Day-Of Coordinators!

If you're looking to create a beautiful, meaningful, wholly non-traditional wedding, look no furhter: Don't Mess With the Bride is your day-of coordinator. Other day-of coordinators, we've found, get squirrelly when you shake things up: we interviewed people who wanted to take all the decor planning out of our hands, or who tried to convince us our ideas weren't going to work and we'd have regrets, and so on. We were ready to offer to pay a friend with stage management experience to run the show for us. But Will was 100% on board with everything we wanted to do. He asked thoughtful questions, shared a number of resources to make sure we'd thought of everything and stayed on track, and never once doubted our vision. His assistant, Mathieu, was similarly excited for us, and proved to be not only a master of pacifying the mother of the bride, but a hit with our guests as well! Both of them are incredibly professional, know exactly what they're doing, and ready to be the support you need to plan your own wedding and do things your way.

Will, Sonya, and the whole DMWTB crew was a dream to work with. They really helped us and our guests be ourselves and facilitated a wedding that felt so authentic to us and our people.
