Many of these spaces offer the ultimate in stress-free planning for couples, with the majority of wedding details handled in-house. Couples also love hotel weddings. Like banquet halls, many hotel weddings are all-inclusive and offer the added benefit of allowing your wedding party and guests to stay overnight. There are also quite a number of barns and farms, along with country clubs, waterfront venues, and more. There are so many different places to choose from. In other words, wedding venues in Ohio offer something for everyone!
Wherever you choose to get married, booking your venue will generally be your biggest wedding expense. Be sure to use our wedding budget tracker to keep event spending within your means while simultaneously planning the wedding of your dreams.
Whichever venue you ultimately select, there are a number of questions you should ask before signing on the dotted line. First, confirm that the venue is available on your preferred date(s) and that it can accommodate the approximate number of wedding guests you are planning to invite. If the venue isn’t all-inclusive, ask if there are any restrictions relating to outside wedding vendors. If the ceremony or any portion of your event will be held outdoors, ask about a back up location in case of inclement weather. Finally, always read the contract carefully. Once you know all the venue details, you can create a wedding website to share event details with friends and family.
After your Ohio wedding venue is booked, take a deep breath! Then, start planning all the day’s details. Remember to use WeddingWire’s free Wedding Checklist to keep track of upcoming wedding-related to-dos.
