As soon as we looked at Skylar Brook Farm, we knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. The property is beautiful and well maintained, perfect for those you enjoy the outdoors. Andrea and the team were amazing from the start. She was quick to respond to all of our questions and helpful to cover things we may not have thought of. They went above and beyond and were accommodating to all of our requests. We're very happy with our experience and would absolutely recommend Skylar Brook Farm for any event.

My husband and I got married here on Nov 2nd and it was better than we ever could have imagined! The venue is just gorgeous and the farm animals were so fun to see and get pictures with at sunset! We ended up hiring Alex (one of the owners) as our wedding coordinator (highly highly recommend doing this)- she was incredibly helpful and made everything go so smoothly! She really brought our dream wedding to life! Wish we could do it all over again!

Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with for our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception. We loved the natural beauty of the space, light above the dinner space, hardwood floors, and exposed brick. Mike was very responsive to emails and so helpful with anything we needed. We loved that we got to bring in whatever food and alcohol we wanted.

From the moment we stepped into Upstairs, we knew it was the place we wanted to say “I do.” This venue is an absolute gem — a flawless mix of vintage industrial charm and modern elegance that creates an atmosphere unlike anywhere else. The exposed brick, original wood beams, and thoughtful architectural details give Upstairs a warm, romantic vibe, while the contemporary amenities make it comfortable and convenient for both couples and guests. It’s rare to find a space that feels so historic and character-filled, yet still functions seamlessly for a modern event. The team at Upstairs was incredible — professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day everything we envisioned. They took care of every detail, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy the experience. Our guests were blown away by the unique aesthetic and welcoming ambiance, and we’ve heard so many compliments since the big day. If you’re looking for a venue that feels personal, stylish, and full of heart, Upstairs is it. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful or meaningful place to begin our next chapter. We had the most incredible experience with Vitria for our wedding! From the very beginning, we were blown away by how attentive and understanding the team was to our vision. Weddings are so personal, and we had a unique idea of what we wanted, but we were concerned about whether it could come to life the way we imagined. Vitria and their amazing team went above and beyond, and they truly delivered a flawless day. The entire process, from planning to execution, was stress-free, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the day without worrying about the details. The day itself can be emotionally and logistically overwhelming, but thanks to the professionalism of the Vitria team, we were able to be in the moment and enjoy every second. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, and the food and staff received endless praise. It was the perfect setting, and the team helped bring our vision to life in a way we could never have imagined. We are so grateful for everything Vitria did to make our wedding day a dream come true. If you are looking for a beautiful, rustic barn for your wedding/reception- Pretty Prairie is exactly what you are looking for. Our wedding day was PERFECT with the help of the venue and the owners, Todd and Jill! We live in Florida currently, but Urbana is my hometown so we decided to get married in my dream venue, and one that is very close to my heart. Our out of town guests all made fun of my husband for getting married in Ohio - until they saw where we were getting married. They couldn't get over how beautiful it was! I encourage everyone to go check it out, you will not regret it!

Williams on the Lake was EXCEPTIONAL! From Aly, our wedding coordinator, to Mark and Dave, our Executive Chefs, to Jessica, who kept everyone adequately hydrated (😉), to the rest of the staff, all our needs exceeded expectations. We had a beautiful ceremony out on the courtyard followed by an extraordinary reception in Lakeside South. The food, service and décor were fantastic. We highly recommend Williams on the Lake! Thank you, Aly and Mark!

We had an amazing time at The Blackwell for our wedding. Allison did an amazing job as our catering manager and coordinating the timeline. She was very attentive to our needs and requests and communication was excellent throughout the planning process. Chef David Heckathorn created a delicious menu that was truly one-of-a-kind. The Blackwell staff from top to bottom was very helpful and professional. The catering crew, the bartenders, the front desk, the housekeeping…all made us feel like our special day was indeed special. Our wedding was one of the best days of our lives, and our guests had an amazing time. A large part of the success was due to the Blackwell venue and their staff for hosting an amazing event. Thank you!

Josie has the entire place already decorated and ready for your special day. I only had to added a few things and my daughter's color of the wedding to all her decor.
