Wedgewood Golf and Country Club is an elegant wedding venue located in Powell, Ohio. As an all-inclusive venue, it offers both convenience and style for your celebrations. This venue’s recent renovations help preserve the historic charm of the building and incorporate a contemporary atmosphere.

Facilities and Capacity

Host a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Celebration Garden as your loved ones sit on the lush lawn and you say “I do” on a lovely circular brick patio. For your reception, use the Grand Ballroom of Wedgewood Golf and Country Club, which is able to hold 300 guests. This elegant hall offers stunning views of their championship golf course while crystal chandeliers decorate the ceiling. Contemporary design and a grand dance floor all await you in this great celebration space.

Wedgewood Golf and Country Club is a full-service wedding venue with on-site catering and event coordination available. Bartending services are also offered, facilitating those celebratory toasts. Best Venue in Columbus/Powell Area

Wedgewood Golf & Country Club was the most perfect venue for our June 2021 wedding! Jody is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! She is seriously incredible. We had to push our 2020 wedding back because of covid so we worked with Jody for over 2 years planning our special day and she was amazing to work with. Friendly, professional, accommodating, and excellent communication throughout the whole process. Ballroom is beautiful with plenty of space. We had around 200ppl at our wedding and guests weren't bumping chairs to get up or nudging pass one another. The area for the bride/bridesmaids to get ready in is very nice and plenty of room for hair/make up artist. We had 10 bridesmaids, plus bride, plus moms and the room was plenty big. Price is fair. Venue is beautiful and you get the whole left side of the building to yourself. Truly a fantastic place to get married. And again Jody is INCREDIBLE!! Working with her puts your mind at ease during the stresses of planning. Highly recommend.

One of the best decisions we made

Jody and her team were absolutely amazing! She really went above and beyond what was expected to make our special day so perfect. We knew from the first moment we met her that she would instantly become like family to us. There was never a moment throughout our reception where I was worried about the scheduling and organization. The staff during the tasting, our rehearsal dinner (which we booked at Wedgewood) and our reception were very professional and urgent. We highly recommend Wedgewood to all newly engaged couples. We hope to use Wedgewood again in the near future.

Loved this Venue and the staff!

After looking at several wedding venues, we booked wedgewood because of several reasons such as the food/beverages options, gorgeous ballroom and grounds, one stop shop for ceremony and reception but even more so because of Jody. She is the wedding coordinator at Wedgewood and is a dream come true to work with. She’s extremely detail oriented, very organized and runs the entire show so you can truly relax and enjoy your big day. She also didn’t make me feel crazy with my million questions and emails through out the planning process and let me stop by whenever I’d ask to look at this or that again. She has great suggestions and is honest with you about what will work Or what won’t. The venue itself is gorgeous and classy with a beautiful ceremony site very close to the ballroom that allows guests to walk right into cocktail hour post ceremony. The food and drinks are top notch and they keep everything running right on schedule. The other part I loved was the large bridal suite that allowed myself, 8 bridesmaids and the MOB and MOG to get our hair and makeup done all day, comfortably. It’s safe to say, we are thrilled with our decision to have our special day at Wedgewood and would do it all over again if we could!!

Totally would recommend!!

I got married here in February and can not say enough good things. I was worried about my wedding but as soon as I found Wedgewood all my worries were gone. They literally did everything for me. I just paid one flat fee and they provided me with all the vendors, linens, cake, dj, and an open bar all night! The only things my husband and I did on our own were our clothes and accessories, the photographer and getting the card box. They even provided invitations and toasting flutes! Every time someone asked me how wedding planning was going, I felt like I should lie and say it was hard! But the truth was it was easier than when I have Christmas parties at my house! Thanks Wedgewood!!!

Highly Recommend!

I cannot say enough about this venue. Not only is the outdoor ceremony space beautiful and well maintain, but the ballroom and club space are equally beautiful and well decorated. The events director, Jody, was so responsive and accommodating. The staff is courteous and has great attention to detail. The food was amazing and great portions. It was amazing that I was able to drop off my decor and they set it up just as I imagined. The team even went above and beyond - running out to buy batteries as some of my candles either didn't have them or were spent. Jody and her team eased my mind, supported me through the day, and made it all a dream. My husband and I have said so many times now that we could not have picked a better venue then Wedgewood golf and country club!

I would highly recommend Wedgewood Golf and Country Club to anyone who is planning a special event. After looking at dozens of venues in Columbus, OH, it was any easy choice to select Wedgewood to host our daughter's wedding reception. Katherine, the event coordinator, was with us every step of the way to make sure that every detail was exactly what we wanted to make this day perfect for our family and guests.
We were treated like VIP guests every time we stepped through the doors. For this reason we chose to spend the entire day of the wedding at Wedgewood. We used their beautiful rooms with amazing views of the golf coarse for the bridal party to get ready. Katherine and her staff provided a wonderful bridal brunch for us and pampered us throughout the day. We got to see first hand the exquisite attention to detail they were paying to ensure that everything was perfect.
They were so accommodating, flexible, and kind that it made us more calm. They were simply amazing.
Our guests could not have been more complimentary of how beautiful the ballroom looked, how delicious the food was, and what great service they received from the bartenders and servers. From early morning till midnight we could not have been more thrilled. We are eternally grateful for everything they did to make this the day our daughter and son in law dreamed of.

My wedding at Wedgewood Golf and Country Club was absolute perfection. Kathryn, the Wedgewood event coordinator went above and beyond to ensure that our day was everything we hoped for. We have had enormous amounts of positive feedback from our guests, many telling us that our wedding was the best they have ever attended. I couldn't be happier with the way that everything turned out. The space was emmaculate, the ballroom was set up exactly as I requested and the service was truly outstanding. From the very beginning I explained to Kathryn that the most important thing to me was that this wedding was FUN! Kathryn and her team did everything they could to help me accomplish the smooth flow that I was looking for. We added an extra bar right next to the dance floor to make sure no one had to wait in line which was a huge hit and really helped keep people on/ near the dance floor exactly like I wanted! The bartenders and servers were excellent. I would highly recommend Wedgewood to anyone looking for a great event space. Kathryn and her team were more than accommodating in every way and wonderful to work with!

We would highly recommend Wedgewood for a wedding! The entire experience - from the planning to the day-of - was absolutely amazing. Kathryn is kind, compassionate, and knows how to make the wedding experience stress-free. The venue is stunning! We were married outside and had the reception inside. Our guests commented on the elegance and beauty of the venue. Highly, highly recommend!!

I couldn't be more pleased with our reception experience at Wedgewood. Kathryn and team were so amazing with making sure food, decorations, tables, etc. were exactly what we wanted. We had a lot of guests with dietary restrictions and it was so great knowing they'd be taken care of. Also, the recently renovated ballroom is a gorgeous space and fit our 225 guests very nicely. It was so nice going into my wedding day knowing that I didn't have to worry about a thing at Wedgewood. I highly recommend!
