Where to even begin... I could not picture having our wedding anywhere other than Scioto Reserve Country Club. From the moment my husband and I stepped into the venue to visit for the first time, it felt right. The space is absolutely beautiful, not to mention the surrounding golf green. If you are looking for a romantic, elegant, classic venue, this is the place for you!

I want to start by talking about Ann Marie, the wedding coordinator at SRCC. She is without a doubt the most professional, knowledgeable, and competent wedding coordinator on the market today. In our meetings with her prior to our big day, she helped us design an efficient timeline for the wedding that proved to be absolutely perfect on the big day! On our wedding day, she was always available but pulling the strings behind the scenes, ensuring the day went smoothly without attracting attention! We were so impressed that while my husband and I were outside taking sunset photos during dinner, she had made sure our dinners were taken back to the kitchen and kept warm until we returned to eat! Having Ann Marie as a resource is worth the price of the entire venue, without a doubt!

SRCC is an all-inclusive venue, meaning that catering is done in house. And WOW, let me tell you that the food is so excellent. As a SRCC couple, you and two guests are treated to a complimentary food tasting before your wedding to help you narrow down your choices. It was difficult to choose! We had so many compliments from our guests on the food at our wedding, with many people telling us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, and we agree!

Our day was perfect in every way. From the beautiful individual quarters for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready in, to the gorgeous ballroom for the ceremony, to the efficient set up of our decorations and tables for dinner and the reception, SRCC was there to make sure every detail was perfect. I would choose this venue again and again, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a wedding day as perfect as ours.

It’s been a year since my wedding but I still think about how perfect it was! Scioto Reserve did an excellent job and I’m always telling everyone about them. Ann Marie was perfect and made everything so easy! They’re literally a one-stop shop for wedding services. Totally amazing!!!

We are so happy that we chose Scioto Reserve for our wedding reception. The entire process was fun and with very little stress. Ann Marie was so great to work with and was very professional. I can not express how wonderful she is and how it made the planning process so much easier. She had great advice to help us and listened to what we wanted. She also knew our other vendors and worked with them which was so helpful. We got ready in the bridal suite and it made for a relaxing and fun morning. Ann Marie and Julie were awesome in checking in with us and helping. They even went beyond and steamed my dress for me! The staff was awesome during the reception and both our families raved about how much fun they all had. You wont be disappointed in choosing Scioto Reserve. They will take care of you and make sure that your day is super special!

We recently had our NYE wedding reception at Scioto Reserve and couldn't be happier. Ann Marie was very responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and we felt very taken care of. Having access to the venue the morning of was very helpful as we were all able to get ready there and didn't need to go from place to place as we prepared. The staff was attentive and receptive as we set up the day of and we really felt the venue was full service. We loved having both a grooms and bridal suite as it gave all of us a place to be throughout and my husband, brothers and friends loved the fun aspects the grooms suite offers. The venue was beautiful and we were very happy with the final results, we received multiple comments from guests on how nice the venue was. If you are considering booking contact Ann Marie and visit as she will do her best to make your special day great!

We had the most beautiful wedding I could ask for! Our wedding planner Ann Marie was a true blessing, helping us throughout the process and made it easy!! The staff were awesome and so nice to all of our guests. We are so happy with everything and would highly recommend to any newly engaged couple to consider Scioto Reserve💕

I don’t know how my wedding could happen without Ann Marie. She is very helpful and makes everything happen for us on our wedding date. She has a great control of timeline from the first day.

We couldn’t have been more thrilled about having our wedding at Scioto Reserve Country Club. We checked out several venues in downtown Columbus and a couple around the outskirts of the city as well, but nowhere else can really compare to the beauty of the venue, quality of the food, inclusiveness of the wedding package and lastly but most importantly, the amazing wedding coordinator, Ann Marie.
1. Beauty of venue- We had an outdoor ceremony in the garden and an indoor cocktail hour and reception in the ballroom. Having both the indoor elements and the outdoor elements available in one venue without switching venues was absolutely perfect! We loved that once our guests arrived for the ceremony, they didn’t have to worry about travel for the rest of the evening (including the Shuttle we provided at the end of the night to take guests back to our hotel, AC hotel in Dublin’s Bridge Park- a quick 15 minute bus trip from the venue). Additionally, the shape of the reception room is so nice and open that all guests are able to see what is going on at all times, and the dance floor is in the middle of the tables so even if you sit for a moment during dancing, you are still part of the party!
2. Delicious food- We were so impressed with the food options when we went to our tasting. The appetizers were delicious, the entrees were delicious and comparative to other venues around town, the prices were about $20-30/plate less. Our guests had wonderful reviews about the food!
3. Wedding Package- Scioto Reserve thinks of everything and then makes it all available to you in one package- all except for the dress anyway ;) For starters, they have a bridal and groom suite which were absolutely amazing for getting ready on the morning of our wedding and a place to recollect ourselves before the reception. You don’t see suites like these offered at other venues, especially to this degree of luxury! A great perk of Scioto a Reserve is that they reserve the venue for you all day and you don’t have to worry about rushing in and out of the venue to make way for another wedding that day (like you might at other venues) - they treat you like you’re the absolute only thing that matters all day, and it’s because you ARE! Their package includes decorations, table linens, silverware, China, CHIAVARI CHAIRS (yes, for free!) They have several styles of all of the mentioned items above for an up charge available as well. The package includes a cake (one less thing to coordinate)! They also have an in house DJ and photo booth available so you don’t have to stress about that if you don’t want to (but are more than welcome to hire your own if you prefer)! Not to mention Ann Marie has great connections with vendors for every need, in her back pocket.
4. Ann Marie- speaking of Ann Marie, everyone needs an Ann Marie when they’re planning a wedding! We met her on our first tour of the venue and basically worked with her everyday until Wedding Day! Months leading up to the wedding, she held our food tasting, cake tasting, plate and linen open house, and kept us on track with the planning process and timeline. She was our go to woman to make sure everyone was where they needed to be on the big day. The week before our wedding, I handed the contact information of my photographer, videographer, bag piper, decor vendor, flower company, and DJ to Ann Marie and she handled all communication with them that week. When you’re planning a wedding and you get to that last week, this is a HUGE help!!! In addition to all of that, we had a few tall orders on the wedding day which she executed perfectly. 1. During the ceremony, we had specific timing per the part in the music where each member of the bridal party walked down the aisle including the bride, and she made sure we hit the exact moment just as I had hoped! 2. We had a cookie table where we brought hundreds of cookies and Ann Marie and her team helped to display them beautifully. 3.For our bridal entrance, we wanted the bridal party to enter with the lights on and then wanted the ballroom to be blacked out for the bride and groom entrance (curtains closed, lights off, bistro lighting off - all within about a 2 minute window) and she knocked it out of the park! 4. Lastly, we wanted a sprinkle send in and Ann Marie agreed to multicolored sprinkles being tossed! It may have been the first and last sprinkle toss as sprinkles remained for days and weeks after, but it was one of our favorite parts of the night. Thanks again Ann Marie!

Our wedding day at Scioto Reserve couldn't have been more perfect. The venue is great, especially if you are looking for an outdoor ceremony without changing location from the reception. The venue comes with a very spacious Bridal Suite, and separate suite for the groomsmen, making it easy to get ready, and keep all of your belongings in one place. Guests loved all of the food choices (we offered plated meals) and the house DJ was also fun to work with. The best part of the whole experience was working with the wedding coordinator, Ann Marie She is s true professional and works to ensure your day is organized and stress-free I was coordinating my wedding from out of state, and Ann Marie was so responsive to any emails or questions I had. We also had to push our wedding date back a year, and Ann Marie was so accommodating! On the day of the wedding, Ann Marie was helping to set up, had coordinated with each other vendor, and was present until the reception! She is truly great at her job, and I would highly recommend working with her if Scioto Reserve is a place you are considering getting married!

While this review is technically listed under Scioto Reserve Country Club, the real gem of this venue is their coordinator, Ann Marie. While we also could not have been happier with all other aspects of the venue, Ann Marie is a TRUE PRO and has this wedding coordinating thing down to a science. From start to finish she was responsive, helpful, detail oriented, calm, timely, and organized (all the necessities in someone helping to coordinate what can be a very stressful day). She answered our many many questions with patience and was so responsive to any changes we wanted to make along the way. A little more about the venue, we loved Scioto’s outdoor space where we were able to hold our ceremony and thought the reception space turned out beautifully for the size of our wedding (~200). We received several compliments about the food from guests and enjoyed everything we had personally as well. The wait staff was courteous and professional and Julie took great care of us and our bridal parties during the morning while we got ready. The suites for getting ready are a HUGE plus since we were able to have hair and makeup come to us and didn’t have to worry about traveling around on the day of the wedding. The setting around the country club in mid-May turned out beautifully in our photos and allowed for a variety of shots. If you have a specific request for your big day---I am guessing they can make it happen. For example, we had butler passed pink lemonade and champagne prior to the ceremony, signature cocktails during reception, and late night tacos toward the end of the night. Everything genuinely went off without a hitch and we credit most of that to Ann Marie’s careful planning and coordinating far in advance, to being with us throughout that day. We both highly recommend doing the additional coordinating service/meetings as it truly helped us feel at ease during the planning process and worked out several details in advance that we may have never even thought of. She ran our rehearsal smoothly and efficiently and managed to still help us stay excited for the following day’s festivities. Day of-Ann Marie was integral in how wonderfully everything turned out and managed to do it with a graceful, calming presence that never made you feel rushed or stressed. The day was organized and flowed so effectively from one thing to the next and we truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. For example, she took us to several locations around the golf course and venue the week before to help us scout good photo locations. She even had new name plates made and installed over the grooms suite lockers so my wife and her bridesmaids would feel most welcome and comfortable. We would highly highly recommend Scioto Reserve for your wedding and credit so much of our happiness with the day to Ann Marie.

We had a very strict, small budget to use for our venue, and were looking for one of the "all-in-one" type venues. Everywhere we found that was suggested was either way overprice in general, or needed a minimum amount PLUS a minimum guest count. Scioto Reserve was not only beautiful from the get-go, but only required a minimum amount to book. We chose a Sunday wedding to stay within budget, and Ann Marie was an absolute dream to work with. She was patient, thorough, prompt, and was really good at dealing with my difficult mother. We made so many changes throughout the planning process, and she was able to accommodate everything and went above and beyond. The food is great, the venue is beautiful, the staff is beyond friendly and actually seemed happy for us instead of simply doing their job, and the Cake Studio, WHOA did they go above and beyond on the generic idea I gave them. I would highly recommend Scioto Reserve to anyone who has a wedding on a budget and wants a stress-free planning experience with a helpful guide along the way.
