About this venue
The Madison Event Center has been family-owned and operated in the heart of Covington, Kentucky, for over 30 years. What has never changed is the way we approach each wedding: as if it's the only one that matters.
Our Full-Service Wedding Experience is built around what couples actually need — and what most venues make you piece together on your own. Your menu is designed for a private celebration dinner hosted by our Executive Chef, where you and your partner experience the food your guests will love over great food and wine, completely on us. Choose from plated dinners, lavish buffets, stations, or late-night selections — every menu prepared on-site by our culinary team.
From the moment your guests arrive, red and white wines are in hand. Your bar experience begins with beer, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages included — with the option to elevate to a premium or top-shelf spirits program, and a custom signature cocktail designed and named for you. Your tables are dressed in full-length linens, complete with centerpieces, china, glassware, and silverware — all set up before your first guest arrives and cleaned up long after your last dance.
Your Event Specialist joins your planning journey nine months before the wedding, dedicated to every detail, every question, and every decision along the way. On your wedding day, your Banquet Captain manages every moment from your grand entrance to cutting your cake to your last dance, supported by a professional team of bartenders and servers — so nothing falls through the cracks.
Your florist, your photographer, your DJ, every vendor you love — all welcome here. No restrictions. No outside vendor fees. You bring your team. We make sure it all comes together beautifully.
Nine event spaces across two connected properties accommodate celebrations from 10 to 500 guests. Next door, Hotel Covington offers wedding night suites, rehearsal dinners, farewell brunches, and room blocks — one weekend, one neighborhood, everything and everyone in one place.

Absolutely anazing!
I brought my decorations in labeled boxes, I had a vision in my mind of what I thought the decor would look like, but they BLEW MY MIND!! Our rooms were absolutely beautiful and our head table was chefs kiss!!
Our food was so good! The service from start to finish was 100% 5 stars. I am so happy with the turnout. Communication was great as well! Riley Clark helped me every step of the way!
Great all-inclusive package
Our guests had a wonderful time and Jason and I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. The room was decorated exactly how we imagined, the food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were so kind and gracious. The Madison sells itself as being as an all-inclusive venue and that is 100% what you delivered!! From decor and linens, food and bar options, choices of ballrooms, ceremony spaces and bridal suites, and your impeccable service, The Madison was absolutely the “the complete package” for us! Thank you again for all your help in making our wedding perfect for us!

The staff is amazingly helpful and they go above and beyond to make every detail of your wedding day PERFECT. Everything from the Chef's to the drinks are top notch. I love working with Madison Brides, they are overall less stressed out due to the coordinators at the Madison that make the hectic wedding process so much easier.
