Hotel Covington is a luxury hotel and wedding venue located in Covington, Kentucky. Conveniently nestled near Cincinnati, Ohio, this former fashion department store has been reimagined as a sleek and chic venue and hotel with modern, elegant interiors and exemplary service. The Hotel Covington experience is one-of-a-kind.
Hotel Covington offers several event spaces to create your tailored wedding experience. We offer an all-inclusive package as well as custom options, and we cannot wait to help you get started!
Engagement celebrations, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, welcome reception, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, wedding brunch, we've helped hundreds of couples bring their wedding vision to life in one of our many event spaces: Scheper, Duveneck, Eva G Farris, outdoor Lawn & Patio, and The Lightwell and last but not least, the entire first floor of the Hotel lobby.
The Eva G Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests for a ceremony or 150 for an evening reception. Featuring contemporary lighting, a large dance floor in the center of the room and a built-in bar.
The Scheper is the pairs perfectly with any of our event spaces or ideal for your intimate gathering. With room for 100 people for a ceremony and 50 guests for a seated event, The Scheper can truly do it all.
Outside on the hotel grounds, there are even more beautiful areas that you can use for your big day. The Lawn and Patio are magical. Host your ceremony on the Lawn and dance the night away on the Patio; the lush greenery, historic charm, and open-air make for an unforgettable wedding day.
The Duveneck is filled with natural light and overlooks Madison Avenue, making it the perfect space for up to 40 guests for an intimate event.
The Lightwell, our newest and largest event space, is simply stunning. The Lightwell can host up to 500 guests and features a one-of-a-kind, jaw-dropping, illuminating LED light display.

The most amazing wedding reception venue!
We would highly recommend Hotel Covington - the all inclusive package makes the wedding planning process so much easier, and everyone we worked with was incredibly professional, responsive, and helpful. The food was delicious and some of our guests said it’s the best wedding food they have had! Not to mention that the Lightwell itself is such a beautiful venue - the lights above the dance floor alone are a showstopper! The Lightwell is perfect for many different sized weddings - we had 225 guests and it didn’t feel too crowded or too empty - it was ideal! Since we had many out of town guests, it worked out so well that our room block at Hotel Covington allowed them to just head upstairs at the end of the night.
My husband and I both had beautiful suites in the North by Hotel Covington side for getting ready in the morning, and the rooms were absolutely perfect for getting ready with our bridal party/bigger groupss! The Hotel Staff were all so helpful and accommodating and we couldn’t be happier that we chose the Lightwell at North Hotel Covington for our wedding reception.
Thank you to Shelby, Riley, Jarrett, Tracy and everyone else who helped us have the most perfect night!
