Truthfully, I can't say enough good things about Daniel Michael and Casey, our photographers for our engagement photos and our special day. At every stage of the planning process and during the whirlwind of the actual day, he made things actively easier for us and demonstrated himself to be not only a true professional in the wedding arena, but a fantastic individual who effortlessly blended into the dynamics of our family and friends.
Already, from only what we've seen of the photos so far, I am awestruck at the way Daniel brought out a type of smile from me that I have no other photos of. I've been told I have a soft smile and can be somewhat self conscious when posing for photos, but Daniel erased every bit of that feeling. The entire day was magical, and I can't imagine anyone else being able to capture what he did.
My family and friends had a great time during photos, he made us laugh, he made us comfortable, and he captured it all.
Simply put, it was a blast, and he was a key part of it all. Beyond worthy of being integrated into our memories of the best day of our lives. Daniel, WE MISS YOU ALREADY!!!

We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer! From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable, cared for, and completely confident that every special moment would be captured. Our wedding day was busy and rushed, but somehow he managed to take an incredible number of photos, capture all of the important moments, pay attention to every little detail, and still keep us right on schedule. That is truly a talent! His attention to detail was phenomenal. He captured the little moments, the big moments, the emotions, the laughter, and all of the memories that we will treasure forever. Looking through our photos feels like reliving our wedding day all over again.

5 stars doesn’t even feel like enough!

We have known Dan for a long time and anyone who has met Dan knows that he loves what he does. The pride and passion he has for his work is something so exciting to see in any setting, but it wasn’t until I was one of his brides that I really got to see Dan in his element and that I was able to really understand how much he is committed to his couples. From the beginning of the process with our engagement session, Dan was excited to be there and excited to capture beautiful shots to celebrate us. As we got closer to the day, he never added stress or anxiety to us and actively removed so much. His professionalism, planning, and expertise showed through even more as we had our planning meeting 2 weeks out from the wedding. He has everything mapped and planned, didn’t need us to come up with a shot list, only asked if there were any specific ones we wanted. Everything was based around us.
On the wedding day, he and his team were on time, wide awake and ready to roll. Tyler was our candid photographer and he somehow managed to be so fun and happy, while also slipping into the background to capture hidden little moments. Jenna, my bridal bestie, was the rock for the day for them. She was calm, cool, collected and was able to provide me with some peace in the chaos. The whole team was prepared and operated like a well-oiled machine, and I never had to make any decisions or think at all with them, because they knew what to do. Jenna anticipated my needs, sometimes even before I needed them, and Tyler was smiling and snapping photos as we went. Dan, however, was the star, which is surprising to no one who has met him. He kept it fun, made sure everyone was laughing, and everyone was comfortable. You could tell his experience through the way he directed us to pose, and it avoided having to take multiple shots. There was no guess work on his end, if he took the photo, he knew it was perfect. I wanted to add that detail to this review because I don’t typically love getting my picture taken and multiple retakes creates a lot of anxiety. Dan helped me have fun with getting my picture taken and made me feel like the most beautiful bride.
Dan has built his reputation brick by brick and he lives up to it 10x over. There is so much pride and love that he puts into his weddings, and his team supports him in spreading that throughout the day. Speaking to friends and coworker who have had him at weddings they all agree that Dan is the man, and Dan remembers every single one, even recalling a bride from 10 years ago that my coworker was a bridesmaid for. All his couples, especially his brides, are so precious to him. If you have any doubts about including Dan, or any members of his team, please know that besides the beautiful product they will create, they will create memories and laughs, all while alleviating stress and anxiety for the bride and wedding party.

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photographer, Larry! From start to finish, he was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured every special moment beautifully.

His attention to detail and creativity really shine through in the photos. He managed to capture not only the big moments but also all the little candid memories that we’ll treasure forever. The quality of his work exceeded our expectations, and we’re so grateful to have these amazing memories of our wedding day.

Our experience with Images by Daniel Michael has been wonderful. We live out of state so had to do most of the wedding planning by phone and video call, but it was all very well communicated and easy. Our main photographer was Jenna and she was great. Communicated poses well and the photos we have seen (engagement) have looked so beautiful. I needed breaks and to sit more and she was really accommodating and helped me plan around that need. From the very beginning, Don was absolutely incredible. As someone who *loves* having beautiful photos but genuinely hates the process of taking them, I was nervous about how the day would feel. Don completely changed that for me. He has this amazing ability to gently guide you — adjusting posture, fixing those sneaky double chins (bless him!), and offering subtle tips — all with so much grace and kindness that you never feel self-conscious. Instead, you feel confident, cared for, and honestly… kind of like a model.

My fiancé was *dreading* the endless photos he knew I wanted (and that were very important to me). He’s camera shy and not one for over-the-top praise. But after the wedding, he turned to me and said, **“That guy was pretty great.”** And let me tell you — that is a *1000-star review* coming from the man of far and few between compliments for anyone😂. If Don can win him over, that says everything.

The additional photographers (I am so sorry I blacked out and don’t even remember names!) were also phenomenal. They were everywhere in the best way — quietly snapping candid, behind-the-scenes moments that I already know will become some of my most treasured memories in the years to come. Those in-between laughs and little glances? They caught them all.

And I have to give a special thank you to Don for one moment that meant so much to me. When I arrived and realized no one had given him my fancy custom hangers (that my bridesmaid and I had made ourselves), I felt a little panicked. To anyone else, it might have seemed like a small, even silly detail. But Don immediately understood it mattered to me. He was so gracious about redoing the detail shots and took the time to capture them exactly how I had envisioned. That level of care and attention speaks volumes.

Don doesn’t just take pictures — he sees what matters to you and makes sure it’s honored. He made us feel comfortable, confident, and completely taken care of. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would recommend him a thousand times over.

I wish I could give this review more than 5 stars. Eric truly made our day. He had amazing photo ideas and made sure everything throughout the day ran smoothly. He personally made sure there were no hiccups and worked so well with the rest of our vendors. Eric made every single moment feel completely personal like they were part of the family.
