Doug and Andrew made the best team at our wedding! We met Doug at a bridal show a year and a half before our wedding and liked him immediately. He really wants to help you create a wedding that is special and meaningful to you - not a cookie-cutter wedding with package after package he's trying to upsell you on. We were delighted when Doug told us that his partner, Andrew, was moving back to the area and would be working with him at our wedding. Doug talked with us several times throughout our planning process to help us think through the reception - specifically the flow and the feeling of each moment. At our final detail meeting, Doug and Andrew helped us finalize and ramp up some ideas we had been working on (rating speeches using giant numbers that the bridal party held up, us-themed bar trivia during dinner, kiss cam instead of traditional glass-clinking kisses) and also gave us options to add on his Freedom Sticks (party lighting to help make the room/dance floor fun) and several Polaroid cameras and a book to store the pictures in. We took advantage of both and were so happy we did! On the day of the event, Doug took the role of MC and walking around the room to get pictures of people/get everyone involved and Andrew took on the role of primary DJ. Together, they were such a fun team that really brought the party to life! We had SO MANY compliments on how fun they were and I have recommended them to all of my friends with upcoming weddings!! They perfectly matched our vibe to the music and worked hard to make sure that everyone had a great time. If you're looking for a DJ that cares about you as a couple and can bring the party, look no further!

Having Doug as our wedding DJ was such a great decision! He is the perfect combination of professional and fun! He is so easy to work with! The app that he uses to plan for the ceremony makes planning a breeze!! We loved that we were able to completely personalize every aspect of the music. You can really tell that he cares about his clients! He checked in on my wife and I multiple times throughout the day, making sure that everything was going well, and seeing if we needed anything. He was so entertaining and kept the party going! Our friends and families can’t stop talking about how funny he is, and how much of an amazing job he did! We would recommend him to anyone!

Doug was the DJ for our NYE wedding a few weeks ago. He was easy to work with from day one, the app he uses really helped us get songs organized for him, and when I didn’t have a song in mind he filled in the gaps perfectly. DJ Doug provided his services for my sister's wedding in Oct 2021 and for my wedding in November 2022. Something I really appreciate about Doug is that he's been in the industry for years and treats this role with full time care. Before the wedding, and during the planning period, Doug made himself available multiple times for phone calls/texts and email questions. He took the time to really listen to the vision we had for our wedding day. He made good suggestions - not just on song choices, but the timeline of events. If you're a first time bride or groom, something you probably don't know yet is how important your DJ/MC is for your day-of timeline. Doug provided us with a fantastic app that allowed us to plan the evening out and choose music/genres that made sense for each portion of the night. It was actually very cool and hugely helpful! I am a full Type A bride, but went into the day feeling extremely confident about the timeline of events because my vendors, including Doug, had really done the work beforehand to prepare with us. Doug is also gifted at instructing a 20+ person bridal party - as if that's not impressive enough, he was rallying the group after much champagne lol. He made sure the dance floor was a hit all night long, made sure the audio for the ceremony/speeches was just right, brought a VERY cool lighting package which upped the ambiance during dancing! I highly recommend Doug and am grateful we had him with us on our wedding day.

Working with Doug was fun and easy. He was full of suggestions that made our evening flow very smoothly. As we planned our wedding he was available for questions as they arose and helped us flesh out the night from a picture in our head to a full-scale wedding. We hired Douglas Adam Entertainment because of their stellar reputation and man, they did not disappoint! Andrew was our DJ and he went above and beyond for us. All of our guests are still talking about how great the music was at our wedding and how awesome the DJ was. I wish we could have another wedding just so that I could work with Andrew again! If we ever have another big event or someone needs a recommendation for a DJ, I will 1000% recommend Douglas Adam Entertainment!!! You cannot go wrong by hiring them and your event will be amazing! Trust me, my husband has worked in the wedding industry as a wedding videographer for over 10 years, so he has been to a lot of weddings, and Douglas Adam Entertainment was his first choice for a reason. Doug is a phenomenal DJ and MC. He DJd our wedding at the Cincinnati Art Museum and did such a great job. He really got the party going. We loved that he wasn't the same traditional DJ you could get elsewhere, intead he brought genuine ideas and incorporated our different asks (anniversary dance, some fun games, shout outs). We specifically loved his ability to get the party started and be a part of the wedding as opposed to being the DJ. Highly recommend Doug for any DJ needs. All of our guests loved his unique style! We also loved the polaroid book and camera he brings, it made it so memorable.

Planning a long, nontraditional wedding day left us with uncertainty and lack of guidance. But Doug helped provide that guidance and played a big role in the day’s success. During our consultation, he made sure to have a full understanding of what we wanted, what we didn’t want, and where the gaps were. He had innovative solutions, and was very easy to work with. On the big day, he came early to set up and stayed until the party was over. He got ahead of potential problems, and went above and beyond each step of the way.

Doug is the best in the business! I have known Doug for many years since he DJ-ed my sisters wedding and my whole family fell in love with him. He has been doing events for everyone we know ever since because he has the friendliest personality and makes everything SO MUCH MORE FUN!! We had a live band for my wedding so my husband and I used Doug as our MC and he knocked it out of the park. He provided great insight to the order of events prior to the big day, gave us options to play the shoelywed game and “kiss cam” which we had and it was a major hit with our guests, kept everything running smoothly throughout the entire night, was very professional on the mic, and got along GREAT with all of our vendors (I.e. our band, videographer, photographer, wedding coordinator, etc). He has been in the business for so long that he knew and had experience working with so many of our vendors, which is such a blessing to have on your wedding day! His equipment/lights/sound/creative talents and personality make every reception better! I cannot recommend Doug enough. We look forward to using him again for anniversary parties, birthday parties, graduation parties and more!!
