The Oscar Event Center is a wedding venue located in Fairfield, Ohio. Situated on the upper level of the impressive Jungle Jim’s International Market, this banquet hall invites couples to celebrate their special day above an eclectic food emporium. Any one of the venue’s multifaceted spaces can create a backdrop for an unforgettable event and form a foundation for long-lasting memories.
Facilities and Capacity
The Oscar Event Center strives to be more than an average reception venue. Its spacious main hall, featuring 40-foot-high ceilings, can be divided into two separate areas to accommodate the size and layout of your function. Best suited for weddings with less than 150 guests, the nearby lounge is available to use as a cocktail and appetizer area. The stone floors, hand-painted mural, and metal furnishings of the outdoor terrace can be enjoyed year-round thanks to its outdoor heating and tent options. For dining and dancing, the on-site pub boasts a 30-foot bar, timber walls, and authentic wine barrels.
Services Offered
The venue’s team will work to help eliminate the stress of your big day. To support you, a day-of coordinator can be arranged for assistance. Additionally, this facility is equipped with various accessories to amplify your celebration, including a Jungletron to use for pictures and messages, speakers, and projectors.
Cuisine
As this venue is a part of Jungle Jim’s International Market, on-site catering is available. Incorporating their extensive supply of ingredients, Executive Head Chef James and his team are happy to prepare a custom menu to best fit your celebration. To impress and satisfy you and your guests, various options are offered such as stations, buffets, and plated entrees. Whether you have 12 or 400 guests, this crew will ensure that the food is fresh and delicious. The catering staff can set up, serve, and clean up the event, and bar services can also be provided.
Other Facilities
A recent addition to the venue is the Oscar Station. This 12,000-square foot banquet hall is connected to the rest of the site via monorail. Inside, there are high ceilings and decorative concrete floors, as well as accent walls in stone, brick, and wood. The rustic interior is punctuated by contemporary industrial touches. A hand-designed bourbon bar displays more than 100 beverages to choose from, with 45 of them suspended on a mechanized track. Bourbon-themed snacks designed by Executive Head Chef James Trent are also offered to enjoy while you sip. For an open-air event, there is a covered outdoor space available adjacent to lush lawns. The Oscar Station can be used on its own or combined with the Oscar Event Center.

Oscar Station - Wedding Delight
Jan was our coordinator and she helped us every step of the way and made it seem so easy! She always answered my questions promptly and helped me make informed decisions that worked best for our event.
Josie was the planner who helped on the day of the wedding and she was just as amazing! She looked so professional and cute, and she helped with the flow of every little thing.
The banquet manager Ashley was top notch! The food…well…it is hands down the best food I’ve had at a wedding or catered event ever! In fact…it wasn’t just good “wedding food,” it was simply, good food! We had the stuffed chicken, New York strip, Mac and cheese, and burnt maple carrots. It was all delicious! The meal also came with a salad and bread that was brought to the table. If you want to do a passed appetizer, we would highly recommend the chicken and waffle! It was chef’s kiss for sure! We might have gone overboard with desserts, but we did the crème brûlée AND the flaming donut bar. The flaming donuts are a show and they taste good! The kids and adults alike enjoyed all the toppings. The crème brûlée flew off the shelves and were a huge hit as well. The desserts were so good I bought to go containers for the cake!
The bartender was phenomenal as well. The guest enjoyed the drinks and commented how well they were made!
The venue was pretty and the staff set up everything just perfect before I even arrived.
10/10 experience. Our wedding day was perfect and it is 100% because of the Oscar Station/Oscar events crew! Worth every penny hands down!
Best night ever
A huge thank you goes to Jan, our wedding coordinator. She was incredible throughout the entire process—organized, professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. Jan took so much stress off our shoulders and made sure every detail was handled flawlessly. Her communication, guidance, and calm presence allowed us to truly enjoy our wedding day without worrying about a thing.
The staff was wonderful, the event ran seamlessly, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was. If you’re looking for a wedding venue with exceptional service and a coordinator who goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Oscar Event Center and Jan. They helped make our dream wedding a reality, and we couldn’t be more grateful!
