My husband and I got married here on 11/7/21, so this is a very belated review, but I just wanted everyone to know how awesome the Tides Estate is. Everyone was raving about good the food was, and how the ballroom was the grandest one they'd ever seen. The cocktail hour area was super spacious, which was one of things that my husband and I were looking for when we were researching venues. We hate when we go to a wedding and we have a plate of food in one hand, drink in the other, and nowhere to put them down and/or sit. But not at the Tides - plenty of seating, which is also much appreciated during Covid times, since it means guests will likely not be crowded in one area. Tito was our banquet manager and he answered my billion questions leading up to the wedding. Any worry I had, no matter how trivial it seemed, was put at ease. My girls and I got ready at the Tides. I had 9 BMs plus my Mom and MIL, and there was plenty of getting ready space. The main room is also very pretty, so it's great for 'getting ready' photo ops. There's also a room for the GMs to hang out in, although they are all connected so if you are the Bride, just have a member of the bridal party make sure that the Groom isn't around when you leave the room. Our maitre'd, Steve was awesome. Whenever I thought that I needed something, before I could even tell a BM to go find him, it seemed as though Steve would appear out of thin air, like some kind of wizard or something. We did a tea ceremony beforehand, and he set it up for us before we even needed to ask him to. He even packed our leftovers at the end of the night, knowing we did not get to eat. The Tides' motto is 'where we make your dreams come true', which I thought was a bit corny at first. But now that I've had my wedding there, I can see that they really do live up to that. Everything was perfect. Tip - they have a sound system in house, so if you are planning on hiring a DJ, let them know about this and maybe your DJ can offer you a discount.

I would highly recommend Aulettos for a wedding venue. The location is beautiful and the staff are so amazing. I really enjoyed working with Jim and the team took all the stress out of wedding planning. Not to mention, the food was amazing my guests could not stop talking about the food!!

I cannot begin to express how incredible our experience at The English Manor was. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is stunning. We looked at over 10 venues and after stepping inside of The English Manor, we knew this is where we wanted to start our beginning. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, and we felt so well-supported throughout the entire process. We especially loved working with Troy. I had no doubt that my vision for the night would come to life with him in charge. All our needs were met from the minute we stepped foot into the venue until we walked out. Chrissy was also my bridal attendant and made sure that we were fed and had drinks all night long. The staff is truly exceptional and I could not have asked for anything more from them. The atmosphere was everything I imagined and more, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how beautiful the setting was. Whether it was the ceremony space, the reception area, or the overall ambiance, every corner of the venue exceeded our expectations. Even though it ended up being a very windy day, Troy made sure to still pull off having our ceremony outside and our pictures were breathtaking in the garden. The food is also incredible. We got married April 13th, 2024 and we still have people raving to us about how great the food was. Food was extremely important to us when picking the venue and they came through with their promise. After each person received their meal, they even came around and asked if anyone would like seconds. We also did the pork roll to go station and that was a big hit. I have people telling me that it was some of the best food they ever had at a wedding before. If you're looking for a place that will make your wedding day feel like a dream come true, I wholeheartedly recommend The English Manor. They made our day unforgettable, and I’ll always cherish the memories we made there. Thank you so much for making our wedding everything we ever dreamed of! I cannot recommend you guys enough.

I got married at the Grand Marquis yesterday October 11th, 2025 and I am speechless at how AMAZING they made my day at the Grand Marquis. I’ve been working closely with Dyl to get all my details/reception to be perfect and it absolutely was!!! The food was so delicious my guests are all raving about my buffet choices!!! The staff was fabulous and on top of their game. I chose the dessert extravaganza and I’ve been literally talking about this for years and let me tell you it was worth every penny!!!! My husband loves cannolis and Dyl made sure to have a surprise for extra cannolis for us on top of all the other desserts. My husband was SO happy you have no idea!!!! I would recommend to anyone and I will continue to talk about my wedding and the Grand Marquis forever!!!!! Thank you so much Dyl!!!! You are the best!!!

If you’re looking for your non traditional ballroom type and want a modernized farmhouse type vibe. This is it! The whole team has been amazing during the whole process. Communication was great! This place is amazing with so many options for pictures and mostly private.

We had the best wedding at Cape May Convention Hall, and can't thank Rachel & the entire City of Cape May staff who helped make it all possible!!! From the beginning with booking, to the many months in between, and especially the day of, Rachel was so incredibly helpful, professional, and communicative. They truly care about helping make it the best day for you! Convention Hall can host the wedding you envision it to be, booking all your own vendors and customizing (which is not possible at most venues). Many guests came up to us during our wedding, and after, sharing how beautiful they thought the venue location was set on the ocean with gorgeous large windows and plenty of space (which was needed for our 230 person wedding!) We were also really excited about our band, and Convention Hall was the perfect setting for an epic night of dancing since they are also equipped as a concert venue. We highly recommend Cape May Convention Hall to all couples!!!

My husband and I had our wedding here in September 2023 and Tom and his team at Merighi's Savoy Inn were so experienced and made us feel like family! Each one of our guests has told us that our wedding was among the best they had ever attended and everyone had a great time. Food was excellent, ceremony space was beautiful, and the ballroom was huge and decorated beautifully to our tastes and color scheme. We highly recommend this venue for their professionalism, overall experience in the wedding industry, and the personal touches they included!

I hope anyone planning a wedding reads this. Aimee from Jacques absolutely is amazing!! There are so many things she did to make the night successful it is almost too long of a list. The details were endless from food choices to the bridal room to helping with day of. One of the most flexible people you will EVER deal with. She responded early & late, before and after biz hours. The ENTIRE staff sensational!! Please do yourself a favor and meet Aimee before you go anywhere else!!!

I don't understand how this venue is not more widely used! It's truly stunning, with architecture and details that you almost never see anymore, and 22 bedrooms to sleep your family. You also get the manor for the whole day which allowed us to enjoy every moment, not have to travel between places, and not feel that the day zipped by. We got married by the Koi pond in August 2025, which was beautiful and very well coordinated by Linda. Linda and her staff were extremely well organized and I did not have to lift a finger the whole day. They handled all of my requests, even ones that were probably outside of their job description, with professionalism and efficiency. If something went wrong, we had no idea as it was handled by them. We were able to be fully present in the day because of them. They even helped accommodate early check in for family traveling. We did not hire a planner or coordinator and Linda and her team filled this role perfectly. The food is something that is still talked about today by our guests. Many of our guests and ourselves are big foodies and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food for a wedding venue, which tasted more like restaurant quality. The package itself comes with such a great amount of food down to every detail (welcome champagne, lemonade, signature drinks) and without any upgrades to the package, our guests told us that there were so many food options and they were so full. The base package is perfect and they really do not skimp on you. The cocktail hour on the first floor of the castle was so unique and raved about by most of our guests, and was one of our favorite parts of the night. There are ENDLESS picturesque places for your photos, and the grounds and castle are like a playground for your photographer. You will be overjoyed when you see what can be done here in terms of photos. Service wise, we felt everything went smoothly, organized, and efficiently. We did hear from friends that the innkeeper was a bit short when requests were made, but we found him to be very kind and he got the job done. As a side note, some reviews mentioned no air conditioning - this was not an issue for us. There were AC units in each of the rooms and they were cool and comfortable. The cocktail hour, reception, etc, were also air conditioned starting the day before to ensure that the whole building was comfortable in August. Some things worth considering: - aside from bedrooms in the manor, the nearest hotels are ~20 min drive away - a decent number of the rooms do not have private bathrooms, and some bathrooms are even shared in the hallway like a dorm (we gave these to the men and had no complaints) - ballroom is okay looking and does not match the aesthetic of the rest of the manor, but is certainly sufficient - rain plan option if you plan on being married outside is the ballroom, which is not ideal. Chapel does not fit many people so it is not always a rain plan option - you cannot bring in outside food. This makes the breakfast and lunch a bit expensive if you are there all day - they do not close off the entire outdoor grounds as it is a public property - we did not find this to be a problem. Only wedding guests were allowed inside the manor. - not the most responsive leading up to the wedding and did require some follow up emails, but always ended up being reachable Overall, this place is truly a hidden gem. Compared to other venues of this grade, we were shocked by how much they included in their package and found it to be a great deal for the money we paid. We highly, highly recommend considering Skylands as the place for your wedding!
