There truly are not enough words to describe how extraordinary our experience was with The Mill at Spring Lake.
From the very beginning, we knew we had found somewhere special, but after our wedding day, we can confidently say that choosing The Mill was one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding process.
We have to start with Tyler, our maître d', who is simply one of the most incredible people we have ever worked with. His kindness, authenticity, attention to every detail, and calming presence made us feel completely at ease. Our guests repeatedly commented on how well cared for they felt because of him.
What stood out to us immediately was how willing the team was to personalize every detail. My parents had a special request for sparkling water at the table, something The Mill normally does not do, and without hesitation they made it happen. It may seem small, but it perfectly represents how this team approaches hospitality.
Before our first dance, sauce somehow ended up on my wedding dress. I had no idea because while I was still enjoying cocktail hour, the staff quietly cleaned and dried it before I even had a chance to worry. That moment alone sums up what The Mill does best. They solve problems before you even know they exist.
The food deserves its own review. Our guests genuinely thought cocktail hour was dinner because every station was so elaborate and delicious. The team even brought custom plates to our bridal suite so we did not miss out while taking photos. Months later, people are still talking about the food.
One thing that meant the world to us was how lovingly they cared for my mother throughout the day. At the time she was immobile, and Tyler and the staff made sure she was comfortable every moment, helping her move throughout the venue and treating her with incredible kindness and dignity. Our family will never forget that.
Dinner service was exceptional. Extra sauces arrived immediately, wine service was seamless, and drink orders were taken tableside. Multiple guests commented they had never experienced service like that at a wedding.
Our coordinator, Sue, was another absolute gift. As an out of state couple, we had countless questions, and she answered every one with patience and professionalism while making sure both of our families felt welcomed throughout the process.
The thoughtful touches made the experience even more memorable. The Mill created a personalized crossword puzzle and a beautiful poem that is now framed in our home. At the end of the night, they packed up every bit of leftover food, cake, and desserts so our families could continue enjoying everything for days afterward.

Absolutely Amazing!
My son's wedding was amazing! The Mill is incredible. From the stunning "get ready" suites, the selection of food at the cocktail hour, the beautiful ballroom, the views of the lake, the flowers and overall grounds to the service - we could not be happier. 10/10!! Our guests are still talking about how great it all was! Thank you to everyone at the Mill! You all helped make it an unforgettable day!

The absolute BEST venue in the business!
We were truly blown away by our experience at The Mill. They deserve WAY more than 5 stars! They were the first venue we toured and I was immediately sold. Everyone was so professional and kind from the very beginning. You step into that building and are mesmerized by the elegant atmosphere. It was the exact vibe my husband and I were going for- classy, timeless, and yet modern elegance. The staff was truly exceptional throughout the whole process. Mya was so attentive and thoughtful in her responses, always there to answer my million questions with kindess and patience. She also executed my vision flawlessly when setting up my decor and went above & beyond to make sure it was perfect for me. The vendor sheet provided upon booking was also incredibly helpful and made the planning process so much easier. All of my vendors had been there before and were on their list, so they all coordinated with each other and the Mill without me needing to get involved. Tyler was incredible at our final details planning meeting, and throughout our entire wedding day, always with a smile on his face. He truly had everything down to a science and we were led with such confidence through the day by him. Our parents were blown away by how attentive he was, checking in on them and getting anything they could possibly want or need, before they even knew it! Devon is the BEST bridal attendant in the game, and I was so happy I was able to request her for my wedding day after she worked our food tasting. She anticipated my needs before I knew them and was a calming, sweet presence all day. My husband and I truly felt like royalty the entire day. Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we felt special, loved, and taken care off from start to finish. All of our guests were raving about how beautiful the venue was, and more importantly that they were actually full after our wedding! So many times guests leave hungry, but everyone was so shocked by the quality and quantity of food provided. It really felt like a fine dining establishment (HUGE shoutout to the catering team). I could eat that chateaubriand every day of my life! The hangover station was such a fun touch, and they had bags already made to go for us and our families. I will never get over how perfect our day was thanks to the whole team at the Mill. There was not a single thing I that went wrong or that I would change, and I wish we could do it over again! We are so excited to be Mill alumni and are hoping we can come back as a guest after recommending them to anyone and everyone we know!

Wish we could come back as guests!
We had an absolute blast on our wedding day at this venue! We are so grateful for all the support and attention to detail from the staff. Everyone seemed to work so well together and were always checking in with us to make sure we were doing ok. Everything went so smoothly and even over a month later we are still getting so many rave reviews and compliments from our guests regarding the venue we chose! We have so many fantastic things to say so we made a list!:
- The most common feedback we got from guests was that the cocktail hour was by far their favorite! We had guests from different cultural backgrounds and some often hard-to-please "foodies" as well and all were in awe of the cocktail hour and the variety of food that was offered. People were also really happy with what they were served during reception and loved having the second portions option. Biggest compliments to the head chef and the rest of the staff working hard behind the scenes in the kitchen!!! We had seen this in previous reviews for The Mill, and now we also agree with those reviews that we would love to have the opportunity to come back as guests to The Mill because of how so many of our friends and family highly praised the experience.
- The service was impeccable! Many of our guests pointed this out and we are also so appreciative of staff checking in on us and our parents throughout the night!!
- The wedding coordinators and maitre d' were so fantastic to work with before the big day to figure out the best customized schedule for reception that worked with what we envisioned. Everything played out perfectly.
- We LOVED using the new getting ready suites and the indoor ceremony space. This was well worth paying extra for and we would highly recommend this to anyone else considering The Mill for their wedding.

Best Wedding Venue with Amazing Food
Our wedding at The Mill was absolutely incredible. The staff made sure that the day went flawlessly. They were so attentive to detail and helpful in every way imaginable. For example, I somehow managed to spill something yellow on my dress right before heading out for our reception and first dance. The staff noticed the stain right away and helped remove it before our grand appearance! I feel like for anything that could possibly go wrong, they had a solution for it which helped alleviate stress and worry on our big day. Susan and Tyler were amazing wedding coordinators who helped capture our vision through various pre-wedding meetings. They were always available for questions and very helpful in the overall planning process. Their expertise made planning our day so much easier. We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Mill… from the venue atmosphere/ landscaping, to the amazing cocktail hour, to the delicious reception food, and the wonderful staff- we truly cannot express how AMAZING this venue was and we are BEYOND HAPPY we got married here! 10/10 recommend having your wedding here.

The Most Amazing Night Of Our Lives
Having our wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor was truly amazing. It was the best day of our lives. The entire wedding process was so seamless from the minute we signed our contract to the end. Sue, our wedding coordinator, couldn't have been more kind and amazing and helpful. The staff was beyond amazing and so attentive. My guests are STILL raving about it and about how well they were taken care of the entire night. They're also raving about how DELICIOUS the food was!! There is NO way anyone goes home hungry between the cocktail hour, the meal, and the hangover station food. We LOVE everyone at The Mill Lakeside Manor and will recommend them to anyone who is looking at venues! Now we're so excited for the alumni events so we can go back!!

We love The Mill!
My husband and I started researching wedding venues in January 2025 and stumbled upon The Mill. We had never attended a wedding there but had heard positive reviews from others who had been there before. They were responsive and flexible with our schedule to come and tour the venue. We met Racquel, who answered our many questions and we left the tour being so impressed with the beauty, warmth, and all that’s included when you elect The Mill for your wedding venue. We booked shortly after and from that point forward, The Mill was first-class treatment all the way. The cake and food tastings were incredible. Our parents joined us at the food tasting and we left stuffed and excited for our options! In weeks leading up to the wedding, our coordinator changed to Mya, who was quickly in touch with us and caught up on all the details surrounding our wedding. On our wedding day, Angela was my bridal attendant who was with me every step of the way throughout the day. She bustled my dress and even helped me change my shoes from heels to sneakers! Tyler was our maitre'd and kept all of us on track and organized through the entire day. We had three young flower girls in our wedding party- even they were taken care of by everyone from the kitchen to the event staff. We cannot say enough positive things about our entire day- and our guests are still raving about the food six weeks later! You will not have a single regret if you choose to get married at The Mill!

Best Night of my LIFE!!!
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I can't say enough good things about the venue. Everyone from the event coordinator to all the staff was so professional, polite and so hardworking. The Mill provided an outstanding night to not only me but every one of my guests. The number of texts I received about the delicious food (there is so much food your guests will be amazed - even offers a second dinner is a one kind experience), incredible service, and how well run of an organization you are proves why they are always booked for weddings. Tyler and the rest of the bridal assistants were fantastic and didn't complain once about going outside in 12-degree weather to hold my dress/belongings. It was the happiest and best nights I will remember forever. I am begging my friends to get married there so I can be a guest. If you are looking for a venue that is a one stop shop for EVERYTHING (decor included) you need to book this venue.

Best day of our lives!
The Mill Lakeside Manor was the very first venue my husband and I toured, and before we even walked out of the building, we were ready to book it. There is something special about The Mill, we got that feeling immediately and knew it was the one. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and every part of it was perfect. That wasn’t by fate or coincidence — every member of The Mill’s team goes above and beyond to thoughtfully curate an unforgettable experience. Throughout the planning process, we worked with our wedding coordinator, Christopher, who was kind, helpful, and informative. His clear communication made our 1.5 years of wedding planning smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. For a full circle moment, Christopher was there to greet us on our wedding day and ensure our day started smoothly. Alongside Christopher was our maitre'd, Tyler. Tyler was unbelievable. His calm demeanor, clear communication, and composed approach made our wedding day feel effortless. His presence and guidance was much appreciated not only by my husband and me, but also our parents and our bridal party. Tyler made sure they were all taken care of throughout the day. Devon was my bridal attendant and another standout member of The Mill. She was incredibly patient and attentive, anticipated every need, and was always there to help without hesitation. Almost two months later, our guests are STILL raving about their experience at our wedding. Our parents’ friends are saying it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended, and our friends keep sharing their favorite foods from cocktail hour (all different from each other!). On top of that, we received endless compliments about the beautiful venue, the stunning outdoor ceremony space, and the kind, attentive staff who helped make the night extra special. The Mill Lakeside Manor is without a doubt, the best place to have your wedding. My husband and I so desperately want someone we know to get married here so we can experience it as a guest!! Book it, now!
Having our wedding at the Mill was the best decision we could've made and will be thankful for that entire staff for the rest of our lives. Our 18 month engagement was filled with tons of back and forth with Sue - the GREATEST coordinator - who answered every email, phone call, and silly question with true and genuine care.
The day itself was beyond perfect thanks to Sue, Tyler, Ang, and the rest of the Mill staff. Their professionalism made us feel at ease immediately and they all became fast friends quickly! A month later and we still bring up how much we love Ang.
The Mill itself is stunning, the fall foliage & landscaping is so perfect and made a flawless backdrop for our ceremony and photos - elevating every picture. The extras touches and services they provided to our guests left a lasting impression. Not exaggerating, every person that's reached out has confidently said that we had the best wedding they've ever been to in their lives.
THE FOOD is not to be believed. The cocktail hour is not only outrageous (positive) in what they offer but also in the quality of the food. The dinner, and offering seconds also had guests in awe!! Everything was delicious.

I always enjoy photographing weddings at The Mill. The team there is very professional and on top of things. The venue is beautiful, I especially love the ceremony space that they offer.
I can not say enough great things about The Mill. My staff and I are always delighted when a new couple comes in to book and they let us know that this is their venue of choice. The entire staff are a delight to be around, the food is amazing and the grounds are picture perfect. We wish The Mill nothing but continued success!
