We couldn’t be happier with the services provided by Limelight Photography and Entertainment for our wedding. The photography team was exceptionally organized, great at communicating, and skilled at managing large groups of people. They were fast, efficient, and made the whole process seamless. We were a bit nervous because we’re not naturally comfortable with posed pictures, but they guided us perfectly, and the results are stunning! The sneak peeks of our photos already look amazing.

The DJ team was equally outstanding. The dance floor was packed all night, and our guests are still raving about the fantastic music. They created an incredible mix of genres, carefully reading the crowd to keep the energy high. Their attention to detail and ability to adapt to the vibe made the night unforgettable.

Working with a team familiar with our venue, The Mill Lakeside Manor, was such a bonus. They knew all the best spots for photos, which put us completely at ease. We highly recommend Limelight for both DJ and photography services. They made our special day absolutely perfect!

We used Limelight for our photography, DJ, and Photo Booth. We heard about Limelight through ours venue in which one of the coordinators at the time was using them for her upcoming wedding.

We met with Limelight first, and spoke with Chris regarding what we were looking for in terms of photography. We wanted to remember our day as it was. Natural and true to life. We also discussed DJs and I said my biggest thing was that our DJ needed to have the right first dance song, as a friend of ours their DJ didn’t have their correct first dance song and had to scramble to get the correct one. Chris was very thoughtful in his response and acknowledging my worry, and explained the steps they take to insure things like that doesn’t happen.

After meeting with one other company we went right back and booked with Limelight.

Photography
Jackie is in charge of the photography side, and let me say she is amazing (as well as her husband Chris). Both her and Chris were very responsive to my emails, and even at a time setting up a meeting to discuss a worry I had with photography. Chris was very receptive in what I had to say, asked me thoughtful follow up questions, and worked with me. It honestly ended up not even needing to be a worry as all of the photographers are amazing. However, it shows the level of care they take in being there for their couples, and how they run their business.

I also asked for specific photo albums to see examples of couples that resembled us as a couple. They were sent to me right away. This also impressed us because as a bride of color it’s not always easy to find that representation right away and to see examples.

An engagement photoshop came with our package, and as we are from out of state, Jackie helped us pick a spot that would help bring our vision for photographs forward.

After getting photos at our reveal, we purchased five of the photos. The photos we saw had us so excited for wedding photos because we knew they would be amazing. Our photographer Jessica captured what we wanted, and we knew we would be in good hands come wedding day.

On our wedding day, Jessica, Shelby and Eric were amazing to work with. Jackie had our timeline prepared and ready long before our day, and that kept us going. The teak was amazing, and was open to ideas, and when an initial photo I wanted wouldn’t work out because of timing and making sure guests didn’t see my dress, or heavy rain at night Jessica came up with other ideas to get me the shot I wanted.

We have received sneak peeks of our photos and are so excited for our reveal.

DJ:

Limelight knows what they’re doing when it comes to their DJs as well. We were assigned Joe M. We didn’t really know what we wanted in terms of songs and just felt at a loss. In our meeting, Joe walked us through everything, asked us questions, gave thoughtful responses. In the end, with us giving the barest of directions, and that we wanted our dance floor lively, Joe read our guests, our personalities and vibe perfectly, our dance floor floor was going all night! He was also able to adapt to us adding in an extra prayer from my niece, and even remembers something we mentioned during our call that we even forgot about, and inquired with us to make sure we either wanted to do it or not. It’s the attention to detail and craft that wowed us.

The photo booth was a hit, and we loved being able to get an album of photos and messages from our guests to look back on at the end of the night.

It was so worth it!

Overall Limelight was amazing to work with from the start and we are so happy we chose them. While this review is long, I think it’s important to just show the level of care that Jackie and Chris have regarding the business and how much they value their couples as well as all of the photographers and DJs.

I will continue to recommend them over and over.

Joe M was our DJ at The Hamilton Manor and we absolutely 100% recommend him and Limelight. We gave him a few suggestions and Joe M somehow created an entire playlist that matched the energy we wanted exactly. He really read the vibe and truly understood our crew. Banger after banger, impeccable transitions, and all kinds of genres. He gave us such a wide range from millennial throwbacks to ABBA to even KPop. It was incredible and the dance floor was packed all night. We are so thankful to Joe M for making our wedding an unforgettable experience. It truly would not have been such an amazing night without him. He was incredibly culturally sensitive as well and made sure he could pronounce our parents’ names correctly.

We also used Limelight for our photography booth and had no complaints. Limelight was very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process and they were also very patient when our check was lost in the mail!

We hired Limelight Entertainment to DJ our wedding and had an amazing experience!! Chris was our MC and DJ - he was amazing to work with and we had the best night! He went above and beyond to help us before the event and check in with us during the night to ensure everything was running smoothly. We also did the Photo Booth, CO2 cannons, and Sax player, all of which were great!! The Sax player worked the room and was such a fun touch! Our guests were raving about how amazing Chris and his crew were!

Our wedding wouldn’t have been nearly as amazing without our incredible DJ Joe! From the very start, they were professional, organized, and genuinely excited to make our day special. They took the time to understand our tastes, our vibe, and the kind of energy we wanted for the reception.

On the day itself, they were absolutely phenomenal. The music flowed perfectly, the transitions were seamless, and they knew exactly how to read the crowd to keep everyone on the dance floor all night. Beyond just playing songs, they added a personal touch that made the evening feel effortless and fun.

We’re still getting compliments from guests about how amazing the music was. If you want a DJ who’s professional, talented, and able to create an unforgettable atmosphere, this is the one to hire!

We first met with Chris Marino in the summer of 2023. He was so excited about our wedding and was so excited at all of our ideas. He listened to both of us and was more than happy to help make our dream come true. We surprised our parents with the personalized audio tracks that Limelight Entertainment offers and we presented him with other ideas we had. We had gotten a custom entrance done and Chris was so excited about using it at our wedding. He immediately thought of how to incorporate it and how to make the moment even more magical. He also helped me to surprise my mom with a special moment for the two of us. He was so amazing to work with and my guests have been raving about how great the dance floor was and how wonderful the music was all night. I can't recommend him enough!

Chris and his team were amazing! We had Jason Kohlmann as our assigned DJ. We were able to meet with him during the planning process to feel out his vibes, which matched ours. Closer to the wedding, you have a meeting to discuss special songs and what type of music you want played. We told him “college frat basement music” from 2010-2014 and he really delivered!! Even his assistant Kevin, was so engaging and high energy. Overall we had a great experience with everyone at Limelight!
