Postponed Wedding turned AMAZING
Our experience with Clarks Landing Yacht Club was nothing short of extraordinary.
I was a “blizzard bride,” originally set to be married on 2/22. That morning, I was in the bridal suite overlooking the water, surrounded by my bridesmaids, with hair and makeup underway, everything unfolding exactly as we had dreamed, when the day took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn. Our wedding had to be postponed due to a winter storm we were expecting at the Jersey Shore.
What could have been a devastating experience was met with an immediate, composed, and deeply compassionate response from the Clarks Landing team. Jackie, Kristin, Nicole, and Ellen handled the situation with such grace and professionalism that we felt completely supported, even in the most emotional of moments. Our bridal attendant, Jordan, was equally exceptional… attentive, warm, and quietly ensuring that every need was met. Despite the circumstances, we were invited to remain in the bridal suite, where we were taken care of with food, drinks, and a sense of calm that allowed us to process the moment together.
When we rescheduled our wedding to 4/3, Clarks Landing didn’t just recreate our day, they elevated it beyond anything we could have imagined.
Our wedding day arrived as the most perfect contrast to where our story began, a breathtaking, sun drenched 70 degree spring day. The grounds were absolutely stunning, with swans in the water and a serene, picture perfect backdrop in every direction we turned. As the evening unfolded, we were gifted with an incredible sunset.
Cocktail hour was extraordinary. The amount of times we have heard, “Clarks Landing has the best cocktail hour” during the last year and a half of wedding planning is unreal, but when I tell you all of those people were correct, they absolutely were. It was an experience in itself. Lavish, abundant, and impeccably executed. The variety and quality of the food were beyond anything we had ever seen, and our guests are still raving about it. Every station, every detail, every presentation felt luxurious and thoughtfully curated.
The reception that followed was flawless. The service was seamless and attentive. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere elegant overlooking the Manasquan River, and the entire evening flowed with a level of precision and sophistication that allowed us to be fully present and soak in every moment.
What truly sets Clarks Landing apart, beyond its undeniable beauty, is its people. Best Wedding Venue in New Jersey
Clarks Landing Yacht Club was the perfect backdrop to our wedding day. The service was amazing, and the food was the best my guests had ever tasted. Nicole and Ellen took care of everything that needed to be done and the day went smoothly. My guests are still telling me that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Thanks, Nicole, Ellen, and the Clarks Landing staff.

I want to thank the entire CLYC team for a wedding that truly felt like something out of a fairy tale. I knew Clarks was known for its excellent service, food, and organization, but it honestly felt out of this world when we got to our wedding day on March 13.
We worked closely with Kristin from the very beginning, and then also Ellen as we got closer to the date and finalized details. Kristin’s positive attitude was absolutely incredible and consistent from start to finish. It’s so clear she loves what she does and loves creating magic for her clients. Ellen was meticulous in organizing all the details for the day and was wonderful to work with. Both were extremely accommodating with our special requests and last-minute changes, and everything went off without a single hiccup. They were on top of every detail and true professionals throughout the entire experience.
On the day of the wedding, so many other Clarks team members made everything feel special. Mariah was my attendant, and Laurie was always nearby as well. it was unbelievable how attentive and caring they were every minute of the day. I highly recommend that if you’re having your wedding at Clarks, you splurge for the all day package with breakfast and lunch. It makes the whole day so much smoother, and they really take care of you.
The food was incredible and one of the biggest talking points of the night. The cocktail hour completely floored our guests, the dinner was so special, and the traveling desserts were a huge hit. Everyone was impressed by how amazing all of the food and drinks were. The entire staff was also outstanding all night. Everyone was extremely professional, organized, and on top of everything. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how attentive and considerate the staff was.
I can’t recommend Clarks enough to anyone considering getting married there. They make the entire experience so easy and enjoyable. All you have to do is show up and have the best night of your life!

After spontaneously stopping at Clarks Landing on our way home from a weekend at the shore, we instantly knew. It was the first venue we toured, and the moment we got back in the car I turned to my then fiancé and said, “That is where we are going to get married.” And we did — on New Year’s Eve — and it was nothing short of perfect.
I could go on forever about how clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed the venue is, or how they’ve truly considered every single detail. But what truly sold us was the people — the warmth, the professionalism, and the genuine care they put into every interaction.
Kristin, one of the INCREDIBLE coordinators, brought our exact vision to life from the very first tour. It was so clear she deeply cares about every couple she works with. Throughout the entire planning process, she was our rock: offering advice, answering every question, and responding so quickly it was unbelievable. She made planning a wedding — even a New Year’s Eve wedding — feel seamless, stress free, and fun.
Day of, the Clarks team absolutely amazed us. We started the morning in the stunning bridal suite completely at ease, and from 9am until 1am every single staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be part of our day. The day turned out better then we could have ever imagined!
We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding day! From start to finish, the Clark’s Landing Yacht Club team made us feel so cared for. Every detail was handled with such thoughtfulness, and they truly catered to our every need. The staff went above and beyond to make the day seamless and stress-free, allowing us to just soak in every moment. A special shoutout is deserved to Laurie who was by my side (Bride) through it all, the small things like making sure I was drinking water, holding my bouquet when my wrists starting to hurt, and carting my train and veil behind me! To even being a friend and looking out for my mom during the day also! I really appreciate her!
Our guests are still raving about the incredible food, the breathtaking view, and the warm, elegant atmosphere. Every corner of the venue was stunning, and it felt like a dream come to life. We’re endlessly grateful to the team for making our day so special — it was everything we hoped for and more!

Clarks Landing is a beautiful venue for weddings. The staff there is super nice, too. The wedding we photographed there was beautiful and the bride and groom were very happy with them.
