This historic site was built over one hundred years ago and was home to one of the early Florham Park families. The house and surrounding 150-acre dairy farm belonged to George W. Felch, a patriarch of a prominent early family of Columbia. When prohibition was put into place in the 1920s, the estate became the Canary Cottage and was associated with a string of nightclubs and speakeasies owned by the New Jersey crime syndicate. After two decades of attracting famous clientele from all over New Jersey for dancing and celebrating, it became the semi-private Florham Park Country Club. The estate was named Park Savoy by businessman Alan Weinstein in 1982. At first he planned it to be a restaurant and dance venue, but Weinstein soon saw the potential for creating a private event space. He began restoring it to its 19th century glory, bringing it back to life in 2011 with new character.

Best Wedding Venue
This was the most amazing venue and service I could ever ask for from a wedding venue. Words can not express how over the top attention to detail and service we experienced on our wedding day. I got ready there and from start to finish my wedding was a dream. Marry made sure right after we said our “I do’s” that we had a moment to sit and eat. She brought us all of our food from our cocktail hour stations. The food is amazing. Our guest said it was the best wedding they ever attended!Sent on 01/03/2019
