I cannot recommend Battello enough for any upcoming couple looking for a wedding venue. Living in the Hoboken/Jersey City area I have heard lots about the food and views that this restaurant “Battello” has to offer over the years. Eating there prior to even getting engaged I knew this was the place for us. Not only did the food exceed the local reviews, but the space was so romantic and the staff so attentive. In late 2024 Alex and I got engaged, and had Battello booked 8 days later for our magical winter wedding in December 2025. Upon meeting with Megan, the events director, she was welcoming, knowledgeable, and extremely organized. Everything was laid out for us making this entire wedding planning year so seamless. She was available in an instant and always so willing to help. I am so thankful to have worked with her and to know her for this past year. The food options were beyond our wildest dreams.. I think the hardest thing we had to do was narrow down to our favorites because there were simply too many favorites. Our day went off without a hitch. Many of our vendors have strong relationships with Battello which speaks to their level of professionalism and recognition within the community. There was never a doubt in my mind it wouldn’t be just breathtaking and it sure was. Tammy, our day of coordinator, could not have been more wonderful. She certainly knows her stuff and make the ceremony, to dinner, to speeches flow so seamlessly. Alex and I wanted this wedding to share our love with the ones we love most but also showcase a piece of our home. We still have friends and family complement the staffs level of detail, the quality of service and cusine, and of course, the million dollar view. I had a family friend state she’s been to a lot of weddings “even one in a castle” and this exceeded them all. The best part getting married in a restaurant is that soon we get to come for dinner, and relive the best and most magical day of our lives… Battello is certainly the place to wed.

There are not enough words to describe the magic Porta provided for our wedding. The staff, food, environment were all beyond our expectations! We would gladly relive our day over and over again. We worked with Dylan Ocasio, who made our dream a reality! He was extremely responsive, kind, patient, and made sure our day ran smoothly. From the moment we met Dylan and saw the venue we felt at ease and knew they would bring our vision to life. Our guests are still talking about how incredible everything was!! If you have the opportunity to use Porta as a venue, we could not recommend them more.

Choosing Waterside in North Bergen as our wedding venue was truly one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was something extraordinary — but the actual wedding day exceeded every possible expectation. The venue was absolutely breathtaking, providing a picture-perfect backdrop for our first look and private vows, as well as our photos throughout the wedding. Every single guest commented on how stunning the venue was. The attention to detail in every corner made the entire space feel warm, elegant, and magical. The staff went above and beyond. We were blown away by their kindness, professionalism, and genuine excitement in making our day unforgettable. They were incredibly organized, attentive, flexible, and always one step ahead — we never had to worry about a single thing. Lesley and our Maître d’ Shantal were absolutely phenomenal, and we truly cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make the day perfect from start to finish! The reception was flawless. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was intimate yet lively, and the flow of the entire evening was seamless. We felt incredibly cared for, and everything came together even more beautifully than we imagined. If you're searching for a venue that is not only gorgeous but also run by an amazing team who truly cares, look no further. Waterside gave us the wedding of our dreams, and we will forever be grateful.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Appian Way on May 4th. In addition to the restaurant, they have a ceremony room, and two ballrooms available. The food at cocktail hour was honestly some of the best and the selection was amazing. The owner, Bobby, was attentive to our needs throughout the process and was helpful with decorations. The staff really took a collaborative approach to help us plan and really surprised us with their creativity and enthusiasm. The event was reasonably priced for what we were getting (open bar, sit-down dinner, 120 guests). Separately, my family and I have celebrated many major events at the Appian Way over the years and we always have great meals!

WOW!! What an amazing job the staff did in making my 50th birthday celebration unforgettable. I had a party of 120 guest and every guest was so impressed with the staff's professionalism. They never missed a beat on anything no matter how small. They went above and beyond. I am so honored to have had my celebration at the Chart House. From the parking attendants to the bus boys, they were all friendly and patient. The bartenders were great. The servers were great. The food was so good. The views of the skyline are out of this world. I honestly can say the Chart House made every step of the way smooth, even with another event taking place at the same time. Thanks Christine for working with me and calming my nerves many times and delivering on everything you stated. I will always suggest this place to my friends and family to host an event. Their team communicates openly and easily throughout the entire process and they are open for all of the customizations that would make your day true to you. Tracey acted as our day of coordinator and made us feel so at ease and like she could handle anything the day throws at her.
