The Tides Estate is a picturesque banquet hall wedding venue located in Haledon, New Jersey. This spacious and elegant venue is situated amid seven acres of verdant gardens and offers tasteful, personalized service for both indoor and outdoor celebrations. Facilities and Capacity
Approaching the Estate itself, guests will encounter the expansive and manicured gardens. Trees illuminated by day or night will make for a romantic backdrop for your wedding photography. Entering the Main Lobby, you will be greeted by uniformed staff while soaking in the ambiance of glittering chandeliers, gorgeous fixtures, and marble flooring. For intimate events, the Belmont and Manchester rooms offer stylish, well-furnished environs for dinner and dancing. For larger gatherings, a grand entrance into the Grand Ballroom will be most memorable, stepping onto hardwood floors with 30-foot-high ceilings illuminated by high-end lighting. Up to 400 guests can enjoy this spacious event venue.

This team endeavors to make all wedding events spectacular, including engagement parties, bridal showers, ceremonies, and receptions. You can consult one of the team’s professional banquet managers for a private tour, and in planning and coordinating your wedding day celebrations. With each detail taken care of, you can focus on enjoying your day.
Cuisine
Dining at The Estate is a refined affair. Servers will bring champagne and strawberries to you and your guests a half hour before your cocktail hour or ceremony. For cocktail hour, a hand-carved ice sculpture stands as a centerpiece while white-gloved servers bring butler-style hot hors d’oeuvres. Seasonal fruits and berries, delectable cheeses and meats, and many other gourmet appetizers will be available for guests to savor. A splendid reception dinner offers course after course of tempting cuisine while an open bar provides premium beer, wine, and cocktails, along with assorted juices and sodas.

Tito was our banquet manager and he answered my billion questions leading up to the wedding. Any worry I had, no matter how trivial it seemed, was put at ease.
My girls and I got ready at the Tides. I had 9 BMs plus my Mom and MIL, and there was plenty of getting ready space. The main room is also very pretty, so it's great for 'getting ready' photo ops. There's also a room for the GMs to hang out in, although they are all connected so if you are the Bride, just have a member of the bridal party make sure that the Groom isn't around when you leave the room.
Our maitre'd, Steve was awesome. Whenever I thought that I needed something, before I could even tell a BM to go find him, it seemed as though Steve would appear out of thin air, like some kind of wizard or something. We did a tea ceremony beforehand, and he set it up for us before we even needed to ask him to. He even packed our leftovers at the end of the night, knowing we did not get to eat.
The Tides' motto is 'where we make your dreams come true', which I thought was a bit corny at first. But now that I've had my wedding there, I can see that they really do live up to that. Everything was perfect.
Tip - they have a sound system in house, so if you are planning on hiring a DJ, let them know about this and maybe your DJ can offer you a discount.

On our wedding day, we were assisted by our concierge, Mike, who was incredible and very attentive to our needs and concerns. Everyone at The Tides was professional and courteous. Our guests loved the food, which is always a plus, and we still receive compliments about our wedding months later.

Exceptional on many levels
If there were more than 5 stars allowed we would give them a higher rating. Professional and attentive from our first interaction until the end of the wedding they were there every step of the way with us with their dedicated team and personalized service! The venue is beautiful and the outdoor gardens perfect. Delicious and beyond ample food selections and top shelf liquor. We can't say enough good things about our October 2023 wedding experience at the Tides Estate!!

Fantastic Experience!
He was extremely straight forward and certainly has a tremendous amount of experience with these events. His attention to detail is unbelievable and he deserves more plaudits than we can give. It certainly put our minds at ease. The timeline of planning provided by him was very appropriate and allowed us to hash out the details we wanted.
The event was executed so well. The guests were simply in awe of the venue and the event. The feedback was simply tremendous and we could not have asked for more. The Maitre'D (Alberto) was extremely attentive to sequence of events and even made sure that we had something to eat in the midst of the event. It was truly a pleasure to work with Mike Stroganoff from the beginning to the end.
We enthusiastically recommend the Tides Estate to anyone looking for an amazing venue to host their important life events.
