Wedding Venues in Connecticut

Many thanks to Paul, Dolores, and all the staff at The Lake House for providing an amazing wedding for my two daughters. My daughters mean the world to me, and The Lake House made sure everything was perfect for my girls' special day. The food was amazing, the grounds were beautiful, and I am pretty sure Paul fixed the weather as well, because we could not have asked for a more beautiful day.

My husband and I got married at Wrights Mill on 8/31/25! Absolutely no words! FIVE STARS! It was absolutely surreal to be on the receiving end of what we all like to call a well oiled machine! I got to experience what everyone always raves about! It was absolutely magical! To some Wrights may just be a building/place but to ME Wrights is my home! It’s not just four walls it’s the people inside of it that I treasure the most! They aren’t my FARMILY they are my FAMILY! 🩷 TO CURT, BRIE, CJ, CHERYL, KRISSY, SUE, KANEESHA, NYPHA, DEB, MISSY, MARK, PAT, BIAGIO, DOM, TYLER I CANT THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH FOR WORKING AND MAKING EVERYTHING ABSOLUTELY PERFECT .. from set up to the amazing food, cocktails and music; all of our guests cannot stop raving about the day! From the bottom of our hearts thank you all so much! And if you’re not sure about renting the house I highly recommend you do!

The entire process of choosing, and working with Water’s Edge was wonderful. Melody was our wedding manager and she was extremely helpful. She stayed on top of everything, from answering all of our questions, to payment reminders, forms we needed to complete, and helped coordinate our wants/needs with other vendors. She did it all! On our big day she took all of our worries away and was able to improvise to solve an issue that popped up just as we were about to walk into our reception. If it rains, Water’s Edge has a great backup plan that they can setup quickly. Thankfully we had a semi sunny day in October so it worked out great to get married down on the lawn! It was great that we were offered a room block for our guests so those traveling did not have to find outside accommodations. Although it was an extra fee, they do offer a bridal suite to get ready in on the property which was a nice relief of one less thing we had to coordinate. Overall, it was a great experience. Our guests all told us how wonderful and beautiful Water’s Edge is!

I had my wedding ceremony at Wickham Park, specifically the English Gardens. It was absolutely STUNNING for our ceremony, with the variety of greens and blooming flowers. The space is perfect for a ceremony as it is secluded by tall bushes, has a large open lawn, and a beautiful gazebo. The grounds of the entire park are impeccably maintained. It was an absolute pleasure working with Wickham Park, specifically Diana as she made the process very easy and was very responsive and helpful with any question. They set up the tent and number of chairs we needed. We highly recommend the space if you want an outdoor garden ceremony! Our guests LOVED the space and it was absolutely perfect for what we were envisioning for our ceremony!

We hosted our annual company summer lunch at Gather 360 and had such a great experience. The space is incredibly unique, with a beautiful indoor area that feels polished yet relaxed, and an outdoor setup that really makes the venue stand out. Our group loved being able to spread out and enjoy the pickleball courts, cornhole, and a little bocce. It created a fun, laid-back atmosphere that still felt well organized and intentional. The food and service were excellent, and the team went above and beyond, even helping us connect with a musician who added the perfect touch to the event. While we used the venue for a corporate gathering, it would be an amazing choice for a casual wedding, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, or brunch. It is a cool, flexible space with a great team behind it, and we would absolutely return for another event.

From start to finish, our experience with the Farmington Polo Club was an absolute delight. Working with Rhonda made the planning process a breeze. There was SO much I didn’t know about weddings and luckily Rhonda and the rest of my vendors came to our rescue to answer questions, quickly and efficiently. Now for the day of.. OMG I don’t know where to start! The staff, the bartenders, the FOOD and the venue itself in all its newly renovated glory… absolutely amazing. Everyone who came to my wedding could NOT and has not stopped raving about the quality of the food and the service. I really could go on all day. I’m not someone who finds it easy to be pampered therefore I was trying to take care of myself all day, but the staff wouldn’t let me! Lol All of them made sure we were hydrated (which we NEEDED as it was almost 90 outside) and fed all night long. I joked with Zaimara, who was basically my attendent the whole wedding, that she was like my guardian angel all night. The staff was unmatched. What a perfect day. All this to say, if you’re thinking about the Polo Club— Book it. You will not be sorry.

Our wedding ceremony and reception at 1754 House was everything and more that we wanted! We had our welcome dinner, ceremony, and reception there and from the first time we met with Cara (the manager) until we checked out the day after our wedding everything was amazing. Cara went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly and was what we had envisioned. Choosing 1754 House for our wedding weekend was the best decision we could have made! We also loved our suite and the ability to stay at the inn for the weekend. We will definitely be returning for dinner and likely our anniversaries in the future. I really can't say enough good things about them!

We love the Mystic Aquarium!! We worked with Ariana to plan our wedding who was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating! We had our ceremony (in front of the beluga tanks) and our cocktail hour and reception (in the main gallery) at the aquarium. Planning was easy with so much being taken care of when you book with them such as catering, tables, chairs, and linens! Guests LOVED the environment and food, and with so many hotel accommodations and the Mystic Village right across the street for an after party and brunch, no one had to worry about transportation! We also feel very lucky to have chosen a venue we can return to each anniversary and share with our future children and family. We absolutely recommend the Mystic Aquarium for your wedding!

We recently held my daughter's Bridal Shower at The Gardens at Hidden Lake and cannot say enough good things about it!! The venue & gardens are absolutely stunning!! We had seating inside and outside. The garden's are beautiful - walkways, seating & fountains throughout. And they are still expanding the gardens. The staff was an extreme pleasure to work with & were very accommodating! Dishes, silverware, platters, cake stands, mini lamps, table runners, etc.. are there for you to use. Highly recommend!!

Cory Morse and the team was wonderful. We all work together as a team. The staff is wonderful great prices beautiful banquet hall. I had a fantastic experience with Foxwoods. Thank you again.
