Mystic Yachting Club at Willow Point

We had our ceremony scheduled for the Mystic Seaport. We knew there was going to be snow and wind on our day, but we were not overly concerned. Chantel, our coordinator, was informed late the day before our ceremony that the Seaport would be closed and we would have to cancel. She said no way! she pivoted quickly and was able to line up another venue before calling us to let us know. We were shocked but went with it. Turned out to be a really nice venue and all the staff showed even though the weather was really bad. Everyone was so nice and attentive and Chantel knocked it out of the park!! Highly recommend Constellation! Thank you all for making our day so special

To Ariana and team, thank you so much for helping coordinate our wedding. You represent the venue but you were always so kind, willing to listen to my feedback, work with us and I am so grateful! Maybe I’m a cynic or just still a city girl at heart, but I had low expectations for the event. It’s a seaside town in CT in the off season, how good could the staff be? But they were wonderful, so professional, so attentive, so happy to help! The transformation of the space was incredible and none of it could have happened without your help. Ariana went beyond the calls of her job and I thank you for helping me to create our perfect wedding day. It was flawless, not a single hiccup, nothing I would change and I am incredibly thankful to you!

For venue owners, the building needs some updates and maintenance – paint would go a long way! When the lights are turned down for an evening event though, you can’t really tell!

My ceremony and reception at the Mystic Aquarium was beyond my wildest dreams!!!! I cannot say enough good things about Kathy and her staff at the Aquarium and Ocean Blue Catering. Kathy was a pleasure to work with during the entire planning process, and the day of everything came together beautifully!!!! The beluga whales were amazing during the ceremony and seemed to be a part of the wedding party!!!! My guests are still raving about our amazingly unique wedding venue, and all the beautiful sights and sounds that entertained them the entire night!!!!

The Mystic Yachting Center is a beautiful venue and is very reasonably priced for the Mystic area. It is right on the water with great views and a wrap around porch. Katie was always quick to answer our questions, very professional, and accommodating with whatever we asked. The food came out great and the night went perfectly.

My wedding at Mystic Aquarium was more than I could have dreamed! I was planning my wedding from a distance and Kathy and her team at the aquarium were so helpful and accommodating. They answered all of my emails and questions promptly and helped me make the best choices for my guests and I. I knew we were in great hands! The day of the wedding everything ran smoothly. They were a professional well oiled machine. The ceremony started on time, the whales were amazing, and the food and drink were wonderful. The guests are still talking about how fun the whales were during the ceremony. I highly recommend the aquarium if you are looking for a unique and fun wedding venue.

We are SO happy we chose to have our reception at the Mystic Yachting Center! The building is unique and offers wonderful 360 degree views of the Mystic River and out toward the sound. We went DIY with most of our decorations, and they were happy to let us in the day before so we weren't rushing that morning. They provide a maintenance person who helps direct cars for parking and takes care of any problems that come up at the site. They have large round tables that seat 8-10 people and white garden-style chairs. The dance floor is huge and has a huge window next to it, as all sides of the room do. The main floor has a lounge area with the bar - this room has some nautical flags and is decorated in blue and white, so it definitely has a nautiful feel. Off of this, there's a beautiful wrap around veranda. It's really RIGHT on the water, which provides a gorgeous backdrop for pictures. Chaz (the director) is accommodating and responsive, and I'd highly recommend MYC as a reception site!

I recently had my wedding at Mystic Yachting Center and generally I was pleased. The venue is beautiful and the coordinator was nice. The food was good, too. My only complaints are that there isn't a private bridal suite and the upstairs isn't handicap accessible.

We had our ceremony and reception at MYC. Katie Kernozek was great in helping us in plan the menu and logistical details of our big day. I asked countless questions, big and small, and Katie respectfully answered any and all of them. She permitted my husband and I to visit the venue a few extra times between booking and our walk through so we could layout our floor plan. This was an amazing added bonus. The grounds of MYC looked great on our big day and the cocktail hour and reception space were the perfect size for our 100-guest wedding. Guests enjoyed viewing our ceremony from the first floor porch and loved the upstairs reception space and dance floor. They also raved about the food provided by the MYC partner, Ocean Blue Catering. We are so happy we chose to celebrate our wedding at MYC!

We had our wedding reception at the Mystic Yachting Center this past June. The venue is beautiful and the location is excellent. Katie is amazing to work with. She answered all of my questions so quickly and allowed for my husband and I to view the venue multiple times before the wedding. She made the whole process so much easier. Unfortunately, she is not the one helping you on your wedding day. For the wedding day we had Ashley (who I had met only 1 time prior) as the banquet manager helping us. She did not follow the timeline I had worked with Katie and my other vendors to create. She messed up dinner service so much that the band and photographer had to completely change their schedule and my husband and I ended up wasting time waiting for her and then missed dancing time. She did not follow any of our predetermined instructions for our favors or desserts. We had cake boxes that we wanted served to guests with their cake (which she said she understood and would do). Instead she took the cake away 15 minutes after serving it and then delivered the empty cake boxes to only some guests. So half the guests got an empty box. Also, when the reception was over she refused to give my mom the top tier of our cake. My mom asked multiple times and Ashley said she would go get it and never did. So we never got the top tier of cake we paid for. For food, he appetizers were phenomenal. The main course was good, we had 3 options and the meat and fish were excellent but the chicken parm was subpar. The chicken parm was much better at our tasting. If you choose this vendor, I recommend hiring someone as a day of coordinator. Ashley is supposed to do this but she is incapable. The only issues that occurred on my wedding day are 100% her fault and I wish I had hired someone to make sure Ashley did her job. If you want a venue that will take care of everything for you so you don't have to worry the day of your wedding, I would look elsewhere. Shame because the venue is so beautiful.
