Holiday Hill Day Camp & Recreation Center is a summer day camp and wedding venue nestled in Mansfield Center, Connecticut. The manicured camp offers lovebirds and their family and friends the ability to celebrate under the sky surrounded by trees and spacious lawns. A versatile venue, the location provides a template for a myriad of wedding themes, from casual to formal.
Facilities and Capacity
Situated on 25 acres of pastoral property, Holiday Hill Day Camp & Recreation Center has multiple spots for both ceremonies and receptions. One such option is to set up a tent. There is also a post-and-beam barn that couples may rent. These choices are ideal in case of inclement weather. The tent can accommodate up to 400 people, making it well suited to large galas. Other events, such as engagement parties, showers, and rehearsal dinners, can also be held here.
Services Offered
Events at Holiday Hill Day Camp & Recreation Center can be catered by a company of your choice or the team can find a caterer for you. Tables and chairs can be provided for your convenience. Couples have the ability to book their wedding any day of the week and events are held at the grounds from May until October. Shuttle services may be requested to make transportation for guests simpler. In addition to the event spaces, there are numerous recreational facilities to keep loved ones entertained. For example, attendees could enjoy a round on the mini-golf course after your ceremony. Children are kept active on the playground and there are courts for badminton, basketball, and more. Packages can all be personalized to fit a couple’s unique event dream. The team can also book the entertainment or you can choose your own vendors. With such a flexible approach, lovebirds have the opportunity to see their wedding ideas materialize.
History
Lloyd and Gwen Duff established Holiday Hill Day Camp & Recreation Center in 1960. A family-owned location today, the current owners seek to carry the torch of the founders. They are passionate about providing a place for loved ones to gather in the open air, enjoying both nature and each other's company.

Fun, DIY venue!!
Flexible and friendly!
I've told other people about our pirate vision and been given a hesitant and ingenuous "okay, that sounds fun," but Jesse and the team seemed genuinely interested and excited for us.
The pricing was more than reasonable. It was a lot of DIY, but that's what we're used to and what we like. The grounds are beautiful. I think you could do a wedding of any theme at this venue.
I highly recommend Holiday Hill as a wedding or party venue. Honestly I might even ask them about hosting a LARP event at some point!
Best place we could've gotten married
Wedding Fun & Perfection!
Our wedding was around 100 people, which EASILY fit into the lovely tent with tables, dance floor, BBQ buffet, bar, and games, with the grounds to wander. We had many options for the ceremony and loved each for different reasons, but opted for a little ceremony in a new location for them, under a few trees next to the tent. Though unconventional, they batted zero eyelashes and helped arrange the chairs and power for what ended up being an incredibly lovely spot... steps away from a bar ;-). Nothing soothed my mind like knowing I had an awesome barn as *back-up* for the ceremony in bad weather!
We had over a dozen kids there and they weren’t the only ones that went mad for the playground, games, and grounds--so many people commented on how much fun they had, and the parents were very, very thankful to have exhausted children by the end of the evening. Pro tip: bring some kites. Kids LOVE running with kites, even in the stillest of wind!
All in all, I kind of wish we could get married AGAIN, just to have another bash there. Looking all around CT, there is nothing to compare to the value and quality of this venue! 11/10, high recommend!

This took me forever to put up a long overdue endorsement for Mansfield Holiday Hill Weddings and Parties! We work with many groups that do outdoor events and they were absolutely one of the best! From their friendly staff to easy to access location, they were great to work with and the couple had a great time! I would recommend their venue to anyone interested in their location!
We are thrilled to be partners with such a unique venue. At Holiday Hill you can have the wedding or party that is as casual or as formal as you would like. With a beautiful tented venue you can create the elegant feel with linens, drapes and lighting or add hay bales and corn stalks to create the rustic wedding that so many are looking for. Our menu can be customized from plated surf and turg dinners to down home bbq cookout and any style in between. If it's activites that you want to offer your guests, there is a long list of fun things you can offer at Holiday Hill. Either way, it will surely be a day you and your guests will be talking about for years to come!
