Saint Clements Castle was established in 1898. Howard Taylor was the brains behind the build, crafting it section by section with his wife Gertrude. At the time, oxen transported granite blocks to be used as walls. The wood found throughout the estate is chestnut and oak, and many hands played a part in erecting the house. Local Italian and Irish immigrants came to work on St Clements Castle each day, slowly transforming it into its modern glory. It was in the year 1993 that the castle was gifted to St Clements Foundation, Inc. This group proceeded to restore the property with great care for its agency.

We had our ceremony and reception at St. Clements. The staff truly went above and beyond even months before our wedding. Every question I had was answered in a timely manner and the wonderful staff essentially did everything for us the day of. All place cards, favors, etc were perfectly placed and I didn’t have to worry about anything. The food was also amazing. My guests raved about the beautiful venue, food, and courteous staff. We couldn’t be happier!Sent on 09/30/2019

They did a fantastic job at making our most memorable day so much more! The food was amazing and the service even better!
