Truly felt like guests at the best day of our lives
We truly cannot say enough amazing things about St. Clements Castle. From the very beginning, they set the gold standard for what working with a wedding venue should feel like.
The moment we submitted an inquiry on their website, we heard back within minutes—they were the very first vendor to respond, and that immediately set the tone for the entire experience. We worked with Alyssa, our sales coordinator, and she was absolutely incredible from start to finish....#PinkBlazerClub4Life (inside joke 🤭). She was consistently responsive, answered every tiny detail question I had leading up to the wedding, and was so helpful coordinating everything. It felt like we were truly supported every step of the way.
One of the biggest reasons we chose this venue was how all-inclusive it is. Having a day-of coordinator and a personal attendant for the day of made an enormous difference. Being able to host both our ceremony and reception on-site was seamless, and the property itself is absolutely stunning.
Our ceremony at the Overlook was more beautiful than we could have imagined. The team handled every detail, including setting up my DIY items, without me needing to think about a single thing. I felt complete trust in them, and because of that, I was able to be fully present and enjoy every moment.
Autumn, our day of coordinator, was excellent. She made sure everything flowed perfectly and allowed us to truly relax. Richie, our personal attendant, was just as awesome. He was always right there, keeping our drinks filled before we even noticed they were empty and making sure we were comfortable and cared for all day. Their attention made us feel so special.
The most standout part of this venue is that you can genuinely be a guest at your own wedding. I had zero stress on our wedding day. At the end of the night, they even packed everything up and placed it directly into our car so we could ride the amazing high straight to the after party.
Our guests could not stop talking about how much they loved the venue, the setting, the uniqueness of the castle, and the excellent food and service. We received so many compliments and felt so proud to share this place with the people we love most.
If you are looking for a venue that is breathtaking, organized, responsive, and truly cares about your experience, St. Clements Castle is the one. We would choose them again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely perfect
Saint Clements was the perfect venue for us! We absolutely loved the Waterford Ballroom and the outdoor ceremony area. They thought of every detail and we felt very comfortable that they knew exactly what to do to make things go smoothly. They were responsive to our questions leading up to the wedding day and extremely kind and accommodating the day-of. They even sourced chocolate milk for us to have as a specialty cocktail which was a great personal touch that we and our guests both loved. Multiple people have told us that our wedding is the best one they've ever been to and it was everything we could have dreamed of. We couldn't have asked for better service or a more beautiful location to tie the knot!

I’ve gone to a few events at Saint Clements before and each time I was amazed at the beauty of the venue. And now, for our wedding, my wife and I were absolutely blown away! The grounds are so well maintained, the natural esthetic of the building, and the details they provide couldn’t have been better!
To say the staff made the planning process, and day of, smooth is an understatement! Being out of state we had a lot of questions and reah outs. Rebecca and the whole staff were extremely accommodating, helpful, and friendly. My wife and I appreciated how responsive they all were.
If you’re looking for an event space, especially a wedding, I HIGHLY recommend Saint Clements. 20 out of 10 experience!!

Dream Venue
St. Clements was an absolute dream! From start to finish Shelby made everything a seamless stress free process. The venue is breathtaking and includes so much of the check list for the big day. I can not recommend this place enough. All of the guests were just as taken away as we were from day one. Easiest choice of this entire process. 10/10 all around.

Best day of our lives!
Rebecca, Autumn, Lauren and the rest of the staff at Saint Clements helped us have the most amazing and special day of our lives. Rebecca was so responsive with all of our requests throughout the whole planning process and Lauren and Autumn worked so hard to make sure everything went smooth the day of. We had an unexpected storm pass through as soon as we were supposed to start the outdoor ceremony and they got everyone under the tent in a timely manner and were able to keep basically everything on schedule after that. The food is amazing, the Waterford ballroom is beautiful, the staff is so nice and helpful. My husband and I highly recommend having your wedding here!!

Magical venue
Our wedding at Saint Clements Castle was nothing short of magical. The Waterford is absolutely breathtaking, and the service at Saint Clements has been remarkable.
Saint Clements took care of everything for us from the start. Shelby helped us stay organized from the day we booked the venue to the day of the wedding, ensuring we didn't miss or forget anything. Her communication with us via email was smooth, efficient, and very responsive. Saint Clements was also very accommodating to all our requests.
On the day of the wedding, they made sure all our guests were taken care of, attending to all the little details. They managed everything for us, from setting up the decor to taking it down and organizing it for us to take home. The staff is incredibly friendly. We had the pleasure of working with Shelby and Kate, both of whom are wonderful people. The staff at Saint Clements Castle went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made the planning process seamless and stress-free. Everything flowed flawlessly, thanks to their coordination.

Absolutely incredible !
Saint Clement’s Castle was more than we ever dreamed of. It was a true fairy tale of a day. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The amount of compliments we received not only on the beauty, but also the incredible staff at Saint Clements speaks volumes. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone we worked with whether the day of or while planning were responsive and accommodating. We had our final meeting two days before the wedding to review all of the final details. We brought in our box filled with decor, placement cards, etc and it was beautifully displayed the day of to enhance what the castle already has to offer. Pam messaged me weeks after our wedding checking in on the status of my father in law because she knew he was not well. She continually sent her love and prayers as soon as she found out. We cannot wait to go back to Saint Clement’s as a guest at another wedding to be able to soak everything in again from a different standpoint. The food was fantastic, cocktail hour and our meal choices. We didn’t want everyone sitting at the table for hours eating their meal so our coordinator had recommended doing the pasta course at cocktail hour as a station. We loved this idea!

Rebecca our Sales Coordinator and Lindsey our Event Manager were stellar and answered our million questions and accommodated all of our requests! If only we could have multiple weddings. 😂

Beyond our wildest expectations
My Husband(!) and I got married here over this past weekend and words cannot describe how phenomenal the experience was. Quick background on us— we go to A LOT of weddings (like average of 15 weddings a year for the past 5 years- A LOT) so not only do we have a lot of experience with wedding venues, but our guests do too. We knew people would tell us how beautiful the venue was (and it IS absolutely stunning) but it is the first time we have ever heard our friends specify the incredible level of service they received at someone else’s wedding venue. We had dinner with a large group of our guests the night after our wedding and every single one went out of their way to tell us how blown away they were by the staff and service. We heard all types of very specific feedback— everything from “it was the most food I’ve ever seen at a cocktail hour” to “in all the black tie weddings I’ve been to no one has ever asked me how I wanted my steak cooked before” to “the bartender was so amazing I complimented her on her glitter eyeshadow and she literally gave me some to put on.” Every single person on the Castle staff went above and beyond anything any of our guests have experienced despite most of our friends being what we refer to as “professional wedding guests.” :)
Pam, Lindsey, Jenna and the entire Saint Clements staff were a joy to be around and extremely attentive not only to our own needs, but to the needs of all 160 guests we had in the Waterford Ballroom.
The food was PHENOMENAL. The property was BREATHTAKING and the service was beyond our wildest expectations. Best decision we’ve ever made was chowing this venue. Truly the best night of our lives.

Could not have asked for a better experience
The entire team at Saint Clements Castile is beyond exceptional. We had a 3 year wedding journey, thanks to Covid, and they were nothing short of amazing the whole time. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and Team to work with.
Pam was always willing to hop on a call with us and responded to all our questions. On the day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about anything. Ashley was truly outstanding the day of the event. I felt like she must have a twin (or two), because she was always there when we had questions or needed something, and she was even checking in with our parents. Katelyn was also outstanding. She was there when we had questions, and was so kind. She provided wonderful touches that brought the wedding to life.
Now, onto the bar tenders, hosts, and servers. They were memorable, kind, and always willing to help. Many of our guests commented at how incredible everyone was.
I truly believe St. Clements is the best wedding venue around. They say "strive for perfection, settle for excellence" and I feel that phrase embodies their team.
As a bride, I had a stress free wedding day all thanks to this venue and team. What more could you ask for?

This is an absolutely AMAZING venue. It is breathtaking just upon driving in, and the waterfront view is outstanding. Saint Clements staff were extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process and very responsive to any questions. Everyone was amazing the day of and helped make the day run so smoothly. The flowers around are stunning based on the seasons, and the views are incredible. The food and drinks were great and there is so much to choose from. Everyone loved their time here. We truly could not have asked for a better place to get married!

Best wedding EVER!
My husband and I got married at Saint Clements Castle on January 15th, 2022. We had so much fun!! It was honestly the best wedding I’ve ever been to, and I’m not just saying that cause it was my wedding.
We originally booked our wedding with Saint Clements Castle before Covid, and had to postpone because of Covid. They were so flexible and the postponing process was seamless. I kept hearing nightmare postponing or wedding cancelation stories from other people and Saint Clements was so understanding and so easy to work with.
The weeks/days leading up to the wedding they were also so flexible with our last minute cancellations, due to Covid. So much so, that at our final appointment they asked who else had canceled on us, and accommodated us. They were so understanding and truly wonderful. Huge shout out to Pam!!
Day of the wedding, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding!! It was like a fairy tale. The whole team the day of made everything so easy and stress free for us. They told us where to go and when so we didn’t have to worry about anything. They made sure we had enough to eat, and had a drink in our hand. Even now our guests keep texting us saying it was one the best weddings they’ve every been to. Highly recommend Saint Clements Castle for any couple!!!

Amazing Venue and Service
Saint Clements Castle was a truly magical place to have a wedding. Pam Marshall and her team are attentive, creative, supportive and talented. We had to postpone the wedding for my son and daughter in law for almost 18 months, and then were still hit with Covid concerns. Pam and her team helped navigate us through every concern, decision and detail. Everything leading up to the wedding was handled seamlessly. Pam was clear, articulate, told us what was included, the policies around Covid and everything we needed to know. She was extremely responsive and fair. The day before the wedding, we sat down to cover last minute items, and everything was fully attended to. The night of the wedding was amazing. The bride, groom, parents, and entire wedding party was taken care of individually. We felt like we had our own staff just for each of us. The venue is stunning, the food was absolutely wonderful, the choices were varied and all were delicious. Our guests were effusive with their comments. We used many of the vendors suggested by St. Clements and they were terrific as well. The night really was just so incredibly special. Fairy tale wedding!
We got married at Saint Clements in September and it was a dream come true. Unfortunately due to COVID we had to postpone a year but Saint Clements and their team made rescheduling easy.
This venue is a one stop shop and makes the whole planning process so easy. They offer competitive priced packages which includes a ceremony site, 3 course meal, dessert, and alcohol. They also have so many enhancements that you can add to make it even better. The grounds are meticulously maintained and make for the perfect back drop.
We were married on the waterford side and the ballroom is so beautiful. You don’t even need that many decorations because the place speaks for itself. Also, the team was so helpful while planning and day of. Can’t thank them enough for everything they did.

Beautiful Venue, Easy Planning
We chose Saint Clements Castle for our wedding reception (we were married elsewhere in a private ceremony) because not only was the venue beautiful but we felt that everything was included and they had a lot of experience. They were so flexible and accommodating when we had to postpone our 2020 reception to 2021 because of COVID. The postponing process was pretty painless and we were able to get the same date a year later. Even the week leading up we had last minute guest list changes due to health issues and they were very understanding. On the day of the set up our decor exactly how we wanted and ran the evening so smoothly. All of guests said they had so much fun, enjoyed the food, and thought the venue was beautiful. If you're looking for a fun and easy to plan wedding, Saint Clements is the place to book.

St. Clements is the best wedding venue
St. Clements Castle is such an amazing and gorgeous venue. The team went above and beyond to make sure our fay went as smoothly and beautifully as possible. Lauren, Rebecca, Lindsey and Julie were absolutely amazing to work with. They were all very organized, attentive and always replied quickly. Lindsey and Julie were the best wedding attendants I could have ever asked for! I would rate them all 100/10!

Best wedding venue!!
I cannot say enough about Saint Clements both the location and the staff. We visited Saint Clements right before Covid and my husband and I immediately fell in love. The ground are beautiful. We chose to have our wedding in the Prince Edward side because we got the best of both world. We took our first look pictures by the dock, got married in the garden, and then had the amazing tavern for cocktail hour. The bridal suite for the prince Edward side is huge, and for our giant bridal party we really needed that!
Fast forward to actual wedding, it was misting all day, and the moment our ceremony was suppose to start it poured, we went with it and all the staff was so helpful in still making sure it happened. It was still beautiful rain and all. Lindsey, our coordinator, bless her heart was out there in the rain with us, helped me get my now soaking 1000 pound dress all bustled up, and just made it so relaxed I didn’t even care about the rain.
The food. Oh My Goodness!!!! 10000 stars. It was incredible. Myself, my husband and family are Italians from NY - food wise they are hard to please and literally everyone is still raving about the food. The steak literally cut like butter and all the cocktail food blew us away. The stations, The Hors d’oeuvres, the bar tending staff made cocktail hour perfect. The staff both leading up to and the day of went above and beyond. Any questions I had they answered within 72 hours, they truly have a real day of coordinator that made our vision come to life, and we’re so attentive. I have celiacs and they made sure to make my life easy by not having to worry about any contamination issue. Honestly I cannot say enough good things.
If you’re considering here it’s worth every Penny and you’re not going to regret that decision!

Gorgeous Venue, more amazing staff
I absolutely recommend Saint Clements Castle to anyone considering this venue for your wedding. From the moment we walked in (in 2018) we knew that this was the place we wanted to become husband and wife. Jacob was our initial wedding coordinator and he was fantastic, eventually we were transitioned to Pam who went above and beyond with every COVID update, and date change. Not only did Pam and the entire staff make our day so special, but in the very stressful planning process during covid, became a therapist, a cheerleader and friend in what could have been the worst times in our lives. A week before our wedding, my mother unfortunately suffered a stroke and Pam swooped in and spoke to all of the staff and came up with a plan to accommodate and make sure that not only could my mom be present that day, but attended to and spoiled so she could ENJOY herself without feeling all eyes were on her. They even escorted her to and from the ceremony site on their golf cart! The day of the wedding, all of the stress melted away and we were finally able to enjoy and celebrate with all of our loved ones, the way we always imagined doing. We appreciated every email, every update and every call to keep us informed. They are not just a venue but truly care about every couple having the best day of their lives and work their hardest to make it come to reality. If there were more stars available, i would totally leave them!

Amazing Venue
We got married on 7/31/2021 at Saint Clements, and we couldn't be happier to have picked them for a venue! Lauren was great to work with leading up to the day - super responsive and always answering every question we had thoroughly. The day of, Lindsey and Jeri were absolutely phenomenal. They kept everything on track and made sure we were able to eat and enjoy the day. Saint Clements made the wedding planning process a breeze, and we couldn't be more thankful!

spectacular venue
My daughter had her wedding at Saint Clements on July 23, I just wanted to thank all the staff, especially Danielle for a job well done.
The staff there were extremely professional, personal, attentive and on point. They anticipated everything......were even there with umbrellas when an unexpected shower happened.
The venue is magnificent ,lending itself to absolutely breathtaking photography. Food was delicious too. It was a perfect wedding!!

Look no further!!!
Look no further!!! My fiance found this venue on a Google search after we spent an entire year looking at venues on Long Island, Westchester and CT. None of the venues we saw felt unique enough and simply felt like they were just "another catering hall" until we visited Saint Clements Castle. We immediately fell in love with the gorgeous venue, specially the ceremony space for the Waterford Ballroom, (the great lawn that overlooks the CT River) and with the interior of the castle itself. We booked a few days later and after having our wedding there on 06/27/2021 all I wish I could do is re-live that day over and over again.
We worked with Lauren Barone, who patiently navigated us through a postponement and through the uncertainties and ever changing guidelines of a pandemic. Lauren never stopped communicating with us, always responded to our questions promptly and she was extremely accommodating throughout. Katelynn was our event manager for the day of and she made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time and that everything ran smoothly. As a bride, I never worried about what was happening and simply had fun. My husband and I never worried throughout the wedding since we knew Katelynn had it all under control. Erin, who personally served my husband and I made sure to we were fed and hydrated at all times while taking pictures and doing our first look.
Our wedding was perfect, we were able to have our ceremony outdoors, the venue allowed us to use their newly set-up tent and the outside for cocktail hour and our reception was in the Waterford Ballroom. Our guests are still raving about the view and the beauty of the venue, the service and most importantly, the food! The food is delicious and cooked to perfection. The passed hors d'oeuvres were sufficient enough and not only looked good but also tasted great. We added a slider station with beef, and pulled pork and it was a huge hit for cocktail hour. We had Filet Mignon, prime rib, sea bass and mushroom ravioli as our entrees. Nothing was bland or overcooked. Everything was incredible. The included wedding cake from Chimirri's was also delicious.
Thank you all at Saint Clements for an unforgettable experience and for making our day absolutely perfect.

Absolutely fantastic experience!
I am so incredibly happy I chose Saint Clements for my wedding. The entire venue is like something out of a fairy tale, and the coordinators and staff are absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I were originally having out 200 person wedding there in March of 2020 – but about a week before, covid dashed those plans! They were fantastic and helped us reschedule for this June and have been so amazing throughout this entire crazy process. Pam and Katelynn in particular were just a dream to work with, and I’m thankful we had them to help us with the details leading up to the big day, and to help keep things running smoothly on the day of. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. Our guests were blown away by the beautiful grounds, the delicious food, professional staff, and how flawless everything was. I’m incredibly happy we chose Saint Clements for our wedding, and I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect venue!!

Best day of our lives!
Me and my wife got married last month at St. Clements Castle and we can not thank them enough for going above and beyond for truly making our wedding the best day of our lives! If you are looking for a venue that is absolutely beautiful look no farther. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and the people that work there just seal the deal. Our sales manager Lauren was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. She was always available and quickly responded to any questions we had. On the day of our wedding Danielle our event manager made sure the day went flawlessly... we did not have to worry about a thing! The waitstaff, servers, and bartenders were all amazing! Our guests were all raving about the venue and the service! If you book St. Clements for your wedding they will ensure it will be a day you will never forget!

The wedding of the season
We were looking for a venue that had a historic background with a unique look that was more than just a simple ballroom. After searching many places we decided on St Clements Castle. The sales coordinator at the time was (Jake), he is no longer there. However, he was amazing at describing our options and ensuring our large guest count will be accommodated. Pam the sales manager took over once Jake left. She was so understanding when we had to reschedule, we were one of the covid couples who were supposed to get married in 2020 and had to push back their event. They were 1000% flexible from start to finish. We never had any issues at all. A week prior to our wedding we met with Lindsey who was our contact point for the day of and she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The day of the wedding while taking photos we had food and drinks brought out to our entire wedding party. Then the snacks continued on into the bridal suite, which I will add has been recently renovated and is huge! Practically the size of an apartment. Our reception took place in the Prince Edward ballroom and our guest were not only impressed by the looks of everything but they still cannot stop talking about the food and service! Huge thanks to the entire staff at St Clements Castle. Our wedding could not have been anymore perfect, better than anything we could have imagined.

My husband and I had our wedding day on June 27, 2021. Our wedding sales manager Lauren has been working with us since 2019. She has been wonderful with all of our questions, concerns when the pandemic hit and has been a joy to work with. The day of our wedding was simply a dream. The staff at Saint Clements Castle was simply amazing and made sure my husband, bridal party, our guest had everything they need. We couldn’t of asked for a better day. It was perfect. Best CT wedding venue!
Highly recommend!! Pam was AMAZING to work with. We had booked the venue and our wedding date (5/22/21) before the pandemic hit, and Pam was so helpful along the way. There were a lot of unknowns to navigate (number of guests, inside or outside, etc) and she gave wonderful suggestions and helped calm me down along the way. Even the small details on when to send Save the Dates, what to write on them in case we had to have a smaller wedding, how and when I should send invitations...and the list goes on. We ended up having 160 guests in the outdoor tent on the Waterford side, and it was STUNNING. Danielle was my wedding coordinator for the day, and she made my day so easy. The staff at Saint Clements is excellent, super professional and the day went so smooth. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful landscaping, grounds, and of course, the food. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had! And due to COVID, we chose to move everything outside, and the tent they invested in is beautiful. It was honestly better than I could have imagined. From the first look, to the ceremony, and dinner and dancing, it was perfect. A huge thank you to Pam and Danielle and the rest of the staff at Saint Clements for making our dream wedding come true!

An indescribable experience!
It’s hard for me to find the words to describe what Saint Clements means to my now husband and I. Yesterday, after having to postpone for almost a year, we finally got to have our dream wedding at the castle. When I tell you they handle everything, I mean absolutely everything. Their staff is top notch and they make the day beyond easy. Pam, Katelynn and Theresa were by our side every second of the day helping us with anything and everything that we needed. The food was incredible and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ll get emotional if I write too much more, but the experience that Saint Clements gives you is like no other. We feel so blessed that we picked this venue. I cannot wait to come back for future events just to see the staff again! They are true experts at what they do!

Amazing Wedding Venue
Saint Clements Castle is a premiere location in Connecticut for your wedding! We married on May 23, 2021 and worked with Pam and Lindsey. Both were phenomenal from the moment we met through post event. We were set to marry in August of 2020 and postponed. The venue was incredibly flexible and accommodating given the restrictions we were up against due to state mandates and CDC guidelines. Pam was there every step of the way to answer our questions and assist us in finding what options suited our wedding in the way we wished it to be. We absolutely downsized quite a bit; the experience was just as incredible if not more so. We had the Prince Edward ballroom and our ceremony was in the Sunken Gardens, which were well kept, green, unique and gorgeous just like the rest of the venue. Our photos outside look amazing! Donegal Tavern and the outdoor courtyard are beautiful and unlike anywhere else we looked. The need for additional decor was minimal in our opinion; the venue spoke for itself with its stonework, stained glass, fountains, etc. Lindsey was our wedding coordinator the day of and she was perfection. I had NO worries whatsoever and meeting her at our final planning meeting eased any stress I had. She executed and directed the wedding flawlessly. The attention we received was on point. They coordinated with vendors, packed up our personal belongings at the end of the night, the food was great with few exceptions and our guests were thrilled with the entire experience as were we. If you have the chance to attend a bridal expo when they host them again, GO! You get to try food, explore the venue and meet their preferred vendors. I highly recommend using preferred vendors because they know exactly what they are working with and it leads to a flawless experience. We had Airen Miller photography who was epic and energetic, Inspiration in Motion videography, also stellar, horse drawn carriage from Allegra Farms (SO cool) and After Hours DJ who did a great job (Mike Moscato specifically) and Sharon Elizabeth’s as our florist (I wanted NO flowers and they still made everything look amazing and helped bring our vision to life). The extra food options we added on for late night snacks were awesome and perfect for our guests. You cannot go wrong with this gorgeous, professional and top notch venue!!!

Above and beyond expectations!
I can’t recommend Saint Clements enough, our wedding day was better than we ever could have imagined and the Saint Clements team was a huge part of making that happen. The venue is gorgeous with amazing river views, courtyards and gardens that are perfect both for guests to enjoy and for photos, and the castle itself is a unique and beautiful setting that our guests loved. Just as impressive as the castle’s aesthetics is the service and professionalism we experienced with all of the Saint Clements staff throughout the months of planning and wedding day. They were flexible, communicative and understanding as we navigated the changing Covid restrictions, and they added the most beautiful tent to create an outdoor option. Lauren the sales manager was wonderful to work with - patient, helpful, and always very quick to respond. Our wedding day manager Katelynn and her team were amazing. They took care of all the big and little details for making sure our day went smoothly and stress-free, it was a great feeling knowing we had her coordinating the day’s logistics. The service of the Saint Clements team made it so my husband and I and all of our guests could truly relax and enjoy our wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

First wedding after the world changed!
I cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Saint Clements Castle. We originally booked with them in December 2019 for an original date of April 4, 2020 - 2 weeks after the entire world changed due to COVID. Obviously we were forced to postpone once, twice, and then finally landed on a third and hopeful final date of April 10, 2021. We had come to terms with “whatever we can do, we will do.” Luckily state gathering guidelines were loosened about 3 weeks before our scheduled date. It allowed us to have a significantly higher guest count than we were planning (from 38 people to around 138 people!), and this meant a much larger event for the Castle. In a matter of a few weeks they were able to secure and build an entire new outdoor tent, ballroom, custom bar, and beautiful decorations. We had originally booked this venue because of the ballroom aesthetic, but after our event we were honestly happier with our new, outdoor tented (heated if needed) ballroom!! We worked with Lauren throughout the entire process and she was always an email or phone call away. She got back to us always within 1-2 days and was always up to date with the newest state guidelines. She made sure to always make us aware of the updates the Castle was making to stay within these guidelines and move forward to a “new normal”. Our guests felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire event and could not stop raving about the staff, the grounds, the decor and the venue over all. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. This year has been completely unprecedented and Saint Clements Castle and staff has taken these new challenges with stride and has come up on top. Looking back on this crazy year even with our three date changes, we would not have changed a thing!! Thank you Lauren and thank you Saint Clements Castle!!!

Excellent experience - despite COVID!
We toured St. Clements back in 2019 and loved it so we booked the Prince Edward Ballroom & Sunken Garden for our 5/23/2020 wedding. That wedding didn't go through as planned BUT we were in communication with Lauren on a pretty regular basis throughout 2020 and ended up postponing twice before we ultimately decided to cancel the wedding until we can have the full guest count - but I am writing this because I am so impressed and appreciative of Lauren's help throughout all this. Lauren is professional and attentive. It was immediately clear to me that Lauren cares about the couples she is working with. The pandemic has been hard on everyone but she checked in with us from time to time and never seemed frayed or annoyed, she was always caring, considerate, and has always been reachable and quick to respond despite the general uncertainty and that she may not have answers to my questions. Lauren kept us posted on new developments and always touched base within a reasonable time frame, before dates got too close. Lauren is always easy to talk to and extremely kind and understanding. I can't recommend St. Clements enough because of its obvious beauty, but also because of people like Lauren.

Wonderful 4th of July weekend wedding at Saint Clements!
I had my wedding at Saint Clements (Waterford Ballroom) on July 6, 2019, and I could not be any happier with my experience! Starting with my first time at the venue, I felt like the staff was willing to work with me to make my wedding day exactly what I wanted it to be. The staff was wonderful and extremely responsive prior to my wedding day. On the day of the wedding, there was always a staff member available to assist me in anyway possible, and they made sure everything ran smoothly. There was a chance of rain on my wedding day, and the staff was willing to set up my ceremony outdoors while keeping the option to move indoors if needed. One thing that my guests could not stop talking about was how good the food was! Everything from the appetizers to dessert at the end of the night was DELICIOUS! The venue was beautiful and I would recommend Saint Clements to any future bride!

Must Have Venue in CT!
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Saint Clements Castle. My wedding was an absolute fairy tale thanks to Saint Clements Castle. Everything was well handled, all staff were friendly and professional, and the grounds are an absolute dream. I corresponded with Lauren the most, and she was extremely professional, timely, and patient with this anxious bride. She put my mind at ease, and made things SO much easier and more relaxed for me both before my wedding day and on my wedding day. I was also so touched that they took the time to write a nice note on the box they packaged up our wedding cake in. I recommend Saint Clements Castle to everyone who is looking to get married or to have an event.

Beautiful Venue!
My husband and I knew this was the venue we wanted to get married in the second we pulled through the gates. Jacob, Katelynn, Emily and the entire staff at Saint Clements Castle made our wedding day everything we had hoped it would be. Jacob answered every question we had quickly and was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process. Katelynn and Emily helped everything go smoothly the whole wedding day. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about Saint Clement's beauty. We are so happy with everything this venue had to offer!

Saint Clements Castle- Most Beautiful Place
This venue has everything you could want - gorgeous views of the Connecticut River, pristine landscaping, and a historical building with real character, not to mention the beautiful courtyard. The ballroom has beautiful chandeliers and large windows. Our wedding coordinator, Jake, helped us plan every little detail of our wedding day and he was patient with us and gave prompt responses to our numerous emails as we were planning from California. He also coordinated with the chefs to prepare a special hors d’oeuvre just for us!
The staff at Saint Clements is incredibly professional, we didn’t have to worry about a thing on our big day — the were on it! One of the waitresses was so attentive that she noticed the lights not on on one of the centerpieces and fixed it. We’d like to give a special shoutout to our attendant, Amanda, who never let us reach the bottom of our glasses and couldn’t have been sweeter. It’s well worth the price, trust us!

Wedding of my Dreams
When you think of a fairy tale wedding you certainly think of getting married at a castle. Saint Clements Castle was quite frankly the wedding venue of my dreams. From the venue to the staff everything was absolutely perfect on my special day. The staff were so incredibly attentive and really made sure that the day went off without a hitch. Being someone who is detail oriented I was completely pleased with how much effort they put in making my day so wonderful. I absolutely recommend this venue!

September Wedding
We had our ceremony and reception at St. Clements. The staff truly went above and beyond even months before our wedding. Every question I had was answered in a timely manner and the wonderful staff essentially did everything for us the day of. All place cards, favors, etc were perfectly placed and I didn’t have to worry about anything. The food was also amazing. My guests raved about the beautiful venue, food, and courteous staff. We couldn’t be happier!

Waterford ballroom
This was the first venue we checked out and we fell in love immediately! Everyone from Pam Marshall our event coordinator, to Lindsey our wedding day coordinator, everything was incredibly organized! They did a fantastic job at making our most memorable day so much more! The food was amazing and the service even better! Both families had an amazing experience and walked away saying it was the best wedding they had been to! We couldn't have done it without Saint Clement's!

Perfection
We cannot recommend Saint Clements Castle enough! From the moment we walked onto the grounds, we knew we were getting married at Saint Clements. It is a stunning location and they do an amazing job of keeping the lawn, the gardens, and the castle in pristine condition.
The team at Saint Clements is also wonderful. From the very beginning, we worked with Jacob who is not only a fabulous planner but such an easy going person. He really listened to what we wanted and made us feel important. He also responded to just about all of my emails within 5 minutes of receipt. I remember once emailing him about napkin colors and he instantaneously responded with pictures and ideas. On our wedding night, Caitlyn took great care of us and all our guests. She ensured that everything ran exactly on time down to the minute.
Our guests were thrilled with their meals and the professionalism of the night. We even went out on a limb and ordered the unconventional chilled strawberry soup for dinner and everyone was raving about it.
The night could not have been more perfect and we are so happy with our experience. We will continue to recommend Saint Clements to everyone we know!!

Amazing Venue and Staff
Everything was absolutely PERFECT! We got married in June overlooking the river with the reception in the Waterford Ballroom. We worked with Jake for all planning purposes leading up- he was extremely professional, responsive, and assuring regarding any stresses or panics! Day of we had Lindsey and Lulu by our sides, who could not have been more AMAZING! They kept everything running smoothly, making sure family/party was organized for pictures, getting me cheese and crackers so I could actually eat before the ceremony, and bustling my dress when it had come undone while dancing. They sent us home with a box of cake with a sweet message since we didn’t get to eat any during. Attention to detail and genuine concern from every staff member we encountered was clear and not unnoticed by the guests as well. From the ceremony and cocktail hour to the reception- the gardens, interior, and décor were absolutely beautiful. We have gotten so many compliments about this venue and guests continue to rave about the entrées and beverages they had. I DEFINITELY recommend this venue. Thank you again to all the amazing staff members for making our wedding day so incredible.

Absolutely perfect!
Booking Saint Clements for our wedding on 6.21.19 was one of the best wedding decisions we made. The team at the castle is phenomenal and truly helped make all our visions become reality. Throughout the planning process, Lauren was so easy to communicate with and so patient with all of my questions. The day of our wedding we had a day of coordinator and a bridal attendant who were available for absolutely anything we could have needed. The moment we arrived to the venue we were met with a plate of hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Many people say you are so busy the day of the wedding, that you don’t have time to eat, but with this team that was not an option! Danielle and Brenna helped to make sure despite of all wedding events occurring, that my husband and i were able to step away for sunset photos. They adjusted our timeline on the spot so that we could get the last minute photos we wanted. The team at the castle did a BEAUTIFUL job setting up for the wedding. The day before, i had dropped off three boxes full of wedding items and they were able to interpret my notes and create the exact look i was going for. Our wedding was the Pinterest, picture perfect wedding I wanted thanks to the team at the castles precision and attention to detail. After the wedding they packed everything up and loaded it into my parents car, so we did not have to worry about a thing! They also left us with a very sweet sentiment. In addition to wrapping our wedding cake up for us to freeze and save- they put two pieces in a box for my husband and me to enjoy later that night. They wrote a sweet message on the box and it was apparent that the team truly wanted to make our wedding perfect. They weren’t just doing their job - they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best wedding ever. And we did, have the best wedding ever.

Fairy tale dream Wedding
My husband and I had our wedding here in the Spring of 2019 and let me tell you, the service start to finish was incredible. We had the Waterford ballroom and the entire castle is just breath taking. It is truly every princesses fairy tale dream. The food & Cake are included and our guests are still complimenting the food. We had an unusual requirement to have sushi provided during cocktail hour and they accommodated it, they made sure we always had a drink in our hand and food in our bellies from the moment we stepped on the property on our wedding day. Unfortunately, it rained however, the backup plan in the art gallery is incredible. My guests still say they rather be in that room than outside overlooking the river. Go with this venue, it is worth every penny.

Perfect Venue!
This was an amazing venue. Not only are the rooms and grounds beautiful, but the people who work there are amazing and you can tell they love their job. I got married in the Prince Edward ball room. The separate Irish Pub for the bar was perfect for our wedding--everyone loved it. Our coordinator was very punctual in responding to any questions I had throughout the planning process. He was so accommodating and helped with anything he could. My day-of coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly and I was in the loop about timing and sequence of events. Our day went perfectly and everything looked amazing. The food was great. I would definitely look into going to one of their tasting events to pick your menu. We also went with the coffee bar, dessert table with cappuccino machine and late night snack. Everything was raved about by our guests. My only small complaint was that the isle was very narrow when we got married in the ballroom and two people couldn't comfortably fit down it. That being said, everything else more than made up for it! I highly recommend the venue!

January Dream Wedding
Hard to believe our big day came and went so quickly- Fortunately, working with the staff at St. Clements Castle was a joy! Pam put my nerves to ease more times than I can count, and the team did an incredible job setting up our day just as I dreamed. Despite a rushed start due to hair and makeup delays, our coordinator did a wonderful job getting us all right back on track. Our ceremony in the Prince Edward Ballroom was magical with the lights dimmed low, and we danced the night away in the Waterford Room. Thank you to all the staff at St. Clements, especially the wait staff, quite a few guests commented on how kind and attentive the servers were throughout the night! The night ended with a gorgeous snowfall, I just wish we could go back and replay the day in slow motion!

The venue was stunning! Even for my April wedding the ground and castle was absolutely beautiful! The staff was amazing and was with me every step of the way which made my big day so less stressful. We had the most magical time! Only wish the night could have lasted longer!

Fairytale wedding
There’s not enough space for us to write every word of praise we have about Saint Clements, so we’ll try to give a brief synopsis. From our first venue meeting until the end of the night at our wedding, we were treated like royalty. There was no question too minor to ask and we felt as though we were always getting individualized attention. The staff was phenomenal and the grounds are gorgeous, which was the original reason we chose Saint Clements. The options for pictures are endless with the views and landscaping. The food was so delicious, even our photographer mentioned this to us. She also told us how well the vendors were treated, which apparently isn’t always the case. We have no regrets choosing Saint Clements Castle for the most special and memorable day of our lives!

Fantastic Venue
From the very first email with Saint Clements, the team was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Jake was fantastic with all of my questions and concerns along the way and without him reassuring me of everything, I would’ve been a lot more stressed. I loved having the final meeting and handing over all the necessities for our special day, it definitely decreased the stress level. The day of the wedding, we had our coordinator (provided by the castle) and her assistant who helped ensure we had everything we needed and kept the timeline running smooth. She was amazing! Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful it was and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

I had my dream wedding here and it was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! All of my guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how great the food was! Kaitlyn (My wedding coordinator for the day) and Amanda (her assistant) made me feel like a queen on that day and they were soooo supportive and wonderful people! They were there when my dress hook came undone and when I was ready to switch from heels to sneakers! 1000% RECOMMEND!

St. Clements Castle is my favorite place. Every chance I get to go there, I go. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful. Pam was there every step of the way leading to the big day. And Jenna and Lulu were there the day of and they were absolutely perfect, we couldn’t of asked for a better staff.

St Clements is such a wonderful venue and has amazing, professional staff. We had our wedding next to the river and our reception in the Waterford room. The ceremony location is magical, it's so lush, green and beautiful. The grounds staff does a great job making it look beautiful for all the weddings. The rest of the grounds are also really nice for photos and video. There are so many areas you can go to in order to get that perfect shot. I recommend walking around a little more after the tour to enjoy it all and envision the possibilities when you visit.
Our planner was Jake, and he was wonderful, so responsive, ready to accommodate changes without any complaints, encouraging of ideas, and fun. We really enjoyed working with him. Our day of coordinator Danielle, also did a great job. She and the rest of the staff at St Clements made our wedding run seamlessly. It was so easy to work with them and they do so much to make your day go smoothly without involving you, which is what you want on your wedding day so that you can enjoy it rather than worrying about all the details. I highly recommend this venue, they will do an amazing job for your wedding and will really reduce the stress in the planning process.

My husband Andy and I got married on 11/4/17 and had our reception in the Prince Edward Ballroom at Saint Clements Castle. We could not have had a more perfect or seamless day! Saint Clements is absolutely beautiful and the service is impeccable. We worked with Judy Fleetwood throughout the planning process and she made it as simple as possible. She told us exactly what they needed from us and when they needed it. We stayed in constant contact and she was always up to date on our latest needs. The staff on the day of the wedding were incredible as well! There were two staff members assigned specifically to Andy and me to ensure we had enough to eat and drink. The food (dinner & cocktail hour) was amazing and beautifully displayed as well. At the end of the night, the staff helped our family pack up all of the gifts and any décor we brought into their cars which was a tremendous help. We can’t even begin to count the number of compliments we received on choosing such a wonderful venue! Thank you so much for an unforgettable wedding day!

Pam was my point of contact throughout our 22 months of planning and she is AMAZING! No question was too hard to answer and no request too big. She made sure that things went smoothly each step of the way and I attribute every success of my big day to her, and the SC Team's hard work, dedication and attention to detail. Lulu and Danielle were a joy to work with on the day of and I will be visiting the Castle yearly for the many events that they host, just to relive the experience. He was there to answer every e-mail and phone call and was always very reassuring and happy to answer any question or address any concern. Our day of coordinator Jenna was beyond great as well. She went above and beyond to make sure things were just as we had imagined the day of and to make sure that we were enjoying every moment.
Everything from the scenery, to the food to the overall atmosphere of the day was perfect. My husband and I could not have asked for a more beautiful day, everything was a dream come true.

I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Saint Clements! Jake was so flexible and accommodating throughout the entire planning process and responded quickly to each email we sent. Our day-of coordinator, Nick, was incredible. Our wedding day was threatening rain for our ceremony, so our ceremony location kept moving from inside to outside as we checked the forecast until we finally decided to move it outside. Nick made sure we were happy and had our decor transported back out quickly! We had a lot of issues behind the scenes, but the staff made sure everything was seamless and perfect to the outsider. Our attendant, Amanda, was friendly and always around when we needed a drink refill and made sure we took time to eat! It was a hectic day, but our experience was top notch. I hope we can go to a wedding there as guests one day and see it from the other side!

This place is truly amazing! From beginning to end they made sure that the process was easy for me. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the staff are so kind. Jake was my event specialist for an entire year and a half and he was great! He responded to all of my questions quickly and made sure that I was not stressing throughout my planning process. St Clements Castle is well worth every penny. Not only is the food great but the fact that the day of the wedding, the staff make sure to set everything up for you the exact way you want it. Danielle was the person who set up my ballroom and she did an amazing job. One less stressor for the bride and groom. Everyone at the wedding complimented the food and the grounds. I just had my wedding at the castle and it was absolutely breathtaking. All of my guests loved the venue and said how beautiful it was, as well as the food. I would have to say they went above and beyond what I would have expected especially when one of my bridesmaids gowns broke and Danielle worked her magic and sewed her into it so that my day would not be ruined. I cannot thank them enough for this or for their generosity and politeness throughout my wedding day. I also need to give a shoutout to the bartenders. I did not have the pleasure of meeting them but my guests could not stop talking about you guys. So again thank you for making my wedding the most memorable day of my life.

I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and wedding process. The staff at St. Clements were beyond amazing. We were married at the Marina on May 21st. We worked with Judy throughout the planning process, she was very easy to talk to and very responsive to emails/calls. Judy and St. Clements provided us with planning suggestions and were very flexible and willing to work with some of the special requests that we had. She made planning the wedding a breeze. The day of the wedding the staff, especially Nick and Megan, were fantastic. Nick was our maitre d for the day and I can express how thankful we were to have him. He took care of EVERYTHING for us and made sure everything ran smoothly, there was not a single hiccup - at least that we noticed. My husband and I, along with our bridal party received very attentive service throughout the day, including drinks and snacks while we were doing our first look. The staff as a whole were very professional. The grounds were beautiful, we took pictures in both the garden and marina area and all the food was delicious. We heard good feedback from all our guests as well. Thank you St. Clements for giving me my perfect wedding day!

We cannot say enough about our experience with Saint Clements! We worked with Jake Sattler who was incredible to work with! Every step of the way, Jake was there to reassure us and answer all of our questions! We felt so comfortable and confident throughout the planning process because of Jake and because of how well the Castle runs its events.
On the day of, things ran so smoothly! Everything, and I mean everything, was impeccable! Our guests raved about every little detail the Castle offered, the beverages, and of course, the food! We chose to offer their Dessert Table to our guests and to say it was a hit would be an understatement!
The staff that was serving us that night (unfortunately I cannot remember their names) we SO attentive and right beside us for our every need! I never even had to get up for a drink! We truly cannot say enough about this venue and would highly recommend it to any couple looking to have the wedding of their dreams!

Saint Clements Castle is an absolutely terrific place to have your wedding. We had the pleasure of working with event manager, Jake Sattler, an incredibly professional, responsive and thorough individual. He made us feel completely at ease with the event, despite all the complicated decision-making that goes into planning such a thing. The venue is gorgeous, inside and out. Although the perfect weather on our day helped a lot, our guests were stunned by how beautiful the place was. The food was great and delivered on time and accurately. Our guests were pleased with the open bar, too. Our highest recommendation for Saint Clements Castle.

My wife and I just had our wedding here and could not be any happier! From the moment we took a tour of the grounds/reception rooms we knew this was where we wanted to get married and celebrate our special day. Judy, our planner was fantastic and helped us each step of the way to ensure an easy and painless process. She was very attentive to all our needs and made sure to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted! She made us feel very comfortable about everything and that there was nothing to worry about! We knew we where in good hands and that really helped towards creating a stress free day!
On the day of our wedding things could have not gone any better! Our ceremony in the garden was exactly how we imagined it! The garden looked absolutely great!! We were able to add all of our own touches; doorway arch, signs, arch sets ups, wood stumps, flowers, ext which only enhanced the beauty of the gardens! St Clements was very open to all of these things that we wanted to add and made sure to set up the chairs (amphitheater style) as we had asked! It looked great!
Our reception was held in the Prince Edward Ballroom! The room looked great and was set up exactly as we wanted due to the great staff at St. Clements. They made sure to take the time to make sure the setups where correct and we are very thankful for that! They even took a bunch of the decorations and flowers we had outside at the ceremony and placed them in the reception room! This was their idea and not something we had even thought of doing! It added to the atmosphere of the room!
The staff was so friendly and professional! They where always around when needed and helped make sure the night went smoothly and without a hitch! Which it did!! The food was great all around! Everyone loved the hors d'oeuvres selection and the pasta station and could not stop raving about their meals!
We would highly recommend having your wedding/reception here! Great experience all around!

We just had our wedding at Saint Clement's Castle and it was truly beautiful! All of our guests could not help but be wowed by the beauty of the venue both inside and outside. There was also ample space so the kids could run around outside during the reception. They had recently redone the bridal suite and it was great for picture taking. The service was excellent and they really catered to my husband and I. They were also great at keeping me calm and minimizing any stress that I might have. I'm so thankful for the coordinators Jenna and Jake for being so on top of everything both on that day and leading up. I would highly recommend Saint Clement's Castle. We plan to come to the summer romance event each year as well. :)

St. Clements Castle is the greatest venue we have ever been to. We've been guests at plenty of weddings, but this venue tops them all.
The views of the river and gardens on the gross are stunning. The architecture of the building is an exquisite backdrop to any event you have, and leaves hundreds of photo ops at your finger tips. There are 2 sides to the building to choose from, and you can't go wrong with either (we chose the Waterford Ballroom side).
The staff is just as incredible (or at least my staff). Your wedding coordinator is always in contact with you every step of the way, and it doesn't matter which way you prefer to correspond--they get back right away. Without our coordinator Pam I don't know what I would have done!!
I'm not sure about all the banquet managers, but I know that Cierra is absolutely amazing. The entire day she is by your side but still doing 10,000 things in the background, and she talks you through every little thing so every move you make is perfect. She has a great energy being upbeat but still cool and collected which really comes in handy on such a stressful day. She truly made the day special.
There were 3 options for a ceremony based on the weather and let me tell you, ALL of them are exquisite. We ended up having a rainy day, and they transformed the art gallery into something more than I could have dreamed.
The wait staff was very attentive and courteous, but I will mention there was about a 30min period when no one was around. Of course that's when we really needed something, but the receptionist was so lovely and made sure everything was taken care of.
The food was absolutely wonderful (we had filet, stuffed chicken, and sea bass), and all of the appetizers were delicious.
We highly recommend SCC and their staff for any event you may have, and hope to work again with them in the future for another life milestone!

I can not say enough good things about this venue. Our coordinator Caitlyn and all the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day magical. From directing the ceremony flawlessly to making sure we enjoyed the hors d'oeuvres and had refreshments during pictures and throughout the night. I can honestly say I felt like royalty. They made sure to pack all of our wedding decor and important items at the end of the night and even provided us two slices of cake before we left in case we didn't get a chance to eat it after the cutting ceremony. I am forever grateful to Saint Clements Castle and all of the hardworking staff for giving me my fairytale wedding.

My now husband and I were married at the Marina Club of Saint Clements Castle this past Saturday. The staff of Saint Clements takes a lot of steps to do everything right. An example being, at one point a drink was spilled on the dance floor and within one minute a server was on her hands and knees with towels cleaning up the mess! It may seem minor, but every staff member had that level of commitment. We also had servers with us throughout the entire night to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. Jacob & Katelyn (sorry I spelled this name wrong!) went through extraordinary measures to make sure no detail was missed including triple checking our meal orders, accommodating guests with special needs, and setting up our reception flawlessly. By booking a wedding at Saint Clements your not just booking a venue but your ensuring peace of mind. You can trust them to make everything perfect for your special day. Wow- we just had our wedding here at saint Clements castle last Sunday and I can not say enough about the amazing staff and grounds.! We knew right away this was the place for us. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, you definitely get that romantic wow factor. You barely need any decor because everything is already so beautiful. All of our guests were in awe. The staff was absolutely amazing. I worked with Pam throughout the whole year of planning and she was so great. She really was the reason we booked because we just trusted her so much. She made everything so easy and had an answer for everything. My day if coordinator Jenna was just as great. She was there every step of the way to make sure everything went smoothly and we knew exactly what to do. We were so grateful to have had her that day! Everyone there was so professional, service was perfect. Every step we took someone was either bringing us champagne or asking if we needed anything.
Everyone raved about the cocktail hour appetizers. The cake that came with our package was SO good and beautiful. They packaged up the rest for us to take after which was so sweet. Everything was handled with such care and professionalism I really was blown away. I can't say one single bad thing about the whole process or day. I am SO glad this was our wedding venue, nothing could have topped it. I would recommend having your wedding here to anyone!!!

My husband Rob and I were married here August 2016. Everything was perfect! When we first met with Saint Clements we were given a list of recommended vendors, and every vendor we picked came from that list. Our guests gave us so many compliments. Because we were married in the Prince Edward Ballroom our guests had access to the stables and tavern, which they all loved. The food was great, so many appetizer choices. The only negative is that the filet mignons either came out over cooked or under cooked and did not match many guests requests. By far the best part of our experience was the staff at Saint Clements. Our event manager, Jake was extremely organized and responded to all my emails and calls within 24 hours. I'm a bit OCD myself so I appreciated Jake's organization. Nick, our day of banquet manager was simply amazing. He was wonderful with us, our entire bridal party, our family and all of our guests. I wanted to share one detail that meant so much to me and highlights how wonderful Nick was. My mom passed away a year and a half ago and my dad's only request was that his boutonnière be a blacked eyed-Susan (one of my mom Susan's favorite flowers). The day of our wedding was so hot that my dad's boutonnière wilted badly. A friend of our family mentioned to Nick the importance of the flower and that they thought they had seen some black eyed-Susan's in the garden. Nick went out and picked one for my Dad and helped him fit it in to his jacket so that he would have a fresh flower for his entrance in to the reception. He certainly did not have to do that, but it made my Dad's day and made me very emotional when I found out. Thank you Saint Clements! I would highly recommend this venue.

Saint Clements was the perfect choice for our wedding. They were very accommodating and would quickly respond whenever we had questions. They also set up everything perfectly and we knew we had nothing to worry about on the day of. We absolutely loved everything about the venue. It was beautiful, the service was great, and they helped with so many details to make it a perfect day. The castle is beautiful. My now husband and I looked all over CT to find the perfect wedding venue. Saint Clements was one of the first places we looked at and it is definitely the best. Our wedding day was perfect! We worked with Pam throughout the planning process,she was always extremely responsive and willing to answer my questions/ talk through logistics. Caitlin was our day of manager and she was fabulous! She was with us from the time we got ready at 11:30am to 11:00pm when the wedding ended. She was on top of every single detail and really helped to ease any stress I had.
The food was excellent- especially appetizers and prime rib! We didn't add on any enhancements to the package and what is provided is still very impressive and plenty! Our guests have been raving that it was best wedding they have been to!
I was very nervous about the fact that 2 other wedding going on the same time our wedding was occurring but when they tell you that you will never see the other weddings they mean it. All the weddings were kept completely separate and the majority of our guests had no idea that another wedding was even going on!
The contract seems intimidating as some of the other reviewers have stated but don't let that stop you from booking here- the staff is very friendly and will work with you! The grounds are absolutely stunning and unique (we got married outside on the Waterford ballroom side). My husband and are hoping to attend another wedding here someday so that we experience the atmosphere all over again.

We were able to sit down with them a few days before the wedding and finalize all the plans. The staff did a wonderful job attending to us throughout the evening and everything went off without a hitch. St. Clements Castle was the first venue we looked at, and nothing we saw afterwards compared. In order for it to fit in our budget, we had to compromise on having our wedding on a Friday night, which ended up being perfect since we could choose our own times (they have set times for Saturday weddings). We worked directly with Erin throughout the whole process. She was very responsive and answered all of our questions right away. The only thing I would suggest is to compile a list of everything you want, and ask about it before booking. They are pretty strict with certain things, knowing exactly what is and isn't allowed before hand is very important before booking. For example, you can't use real candles. One thing that almost made us change our mind was the rain plan they have for the ceremony. We chose the Waterford Room, which has amazing views of the river. However, the ceremony spot for this is on the sprawling lawn overlooking the river. Beautiful! But, if it rained even just in the morning and cleared up by ceremony time, it would have to be held in the courtyard where only a certain number of chairs are allowed. And if it is raining for the ceremony? It is held in the art gallery which only fits about 120 or so guests standing room only. This was a big deal for me, as we had about 190 guests on our list and I didn't want a big chunk of those guests to have to miss it. The only other option was to rent a tent for something like $2000, which we would have to do with quite a bit of notice, and which would be up whether it was raining or not on the actual day. Already being at the top of our budget that wasn't an option. We ended up choosing to have our ceremony at a local church in order to not have that stress the week before the wedding, and went ahead and booked them since everything else about the venue was so perfect. I'm so glad we did! The staff was so attentive the whole night, and everything went so smoothly. I would do it over again in a heartbeat!

Where to even begin! Working with Saint Clements was the most incredible experience imaginable. They made being a bride so easy! From the moment we first toured the castle we knew this was where we wanted to hold our wedding reception. The Waterford Room is exceptional with a gorgeous patio and lawn overlooking the Connecticut River. You will not have better pictures anywhere else!!! Anytime I had a question or concern I quickly emailed Pam and she would email me right back. They were accommodating and helpful in every possible way. I had guests RSVP up until 2 days before the wedding and they still made changes to make sure everyone was all set. The day before the wedding we went in for a final walk through and to go over all of the details with Pam and our day-of-coordinator, Jake. We brought everything we needed set up - favors, napkins, pictures, place cards, menus etc. You name it, they will set it all up so you don't have to worry about a SINGLE THING on your wedding day. Our wedding day - wow - no words to adequately explain how amazing everything came out. From the minute we arrived at the castle and Jake brought us up to the bridal suite, to Lorraine who stayed with my husband and me all night to be sure we had everything we needed, to the end of the night climbing into our car and Jake handing us a box with 3 giant pieces of wedding cake in it! He even wrote a sweet note on top of the box, so thoughtful!!! One example to demonstrate how amazing Saint Clements is - at one point in the reception my new husband and I were at the photobooth and he was hot so he wanted to take his tux jacket off. Literally out of nowhere came Lorraine to hold the jacket for him! It was amazing and my husband was stunned, we really could not believe how kind and helpful she was, along with everyone else at the castle. The guests raved about every single bite of food, the service and the stunning venue. Every last detail was PERFECT. Beyond 5 stars!!!!! Dream wedding venue!!!!

This venue is amazing!!! The facility is absolutely beautiful. My daughter was married in the sunken garden. Our wedding coordinator Pam was great from start to finish. Jake worked with us the evening of the wedding and we did not have to worry about anything. From coordinating the ceremony to packing the car at the end of the evening, Jake was phenomenal. He took care of every detail and we had not one worry. The food was fabulous from appetizer to the ice cream sundae bar. I highly recommend this venue!!!!

I cannot express how incredibly happy my husband and I were with Saint Clements. We worked with Erin while planning our wedding and she was incredibly helpful and beyond friendly. Kaitlyn was our event manager and she was beyond amazing. The venue is gorgeous- that is why we chose to have our wedding ceremony and reception there. The service we received was beyond amazing. Every detail was taken care of- I brought photos and signs and they were displayed perfectly and with such care. My husband and I were treated like the King and Queen of the day and not only were our needs attended to but each and every guest felt cared for as well. The food was awesome, especially the appetizers. WE could not have imagined a more perfect day and we have Erin, Kaitlyn and the entire team at St. Clements to thank!

I knew when we were first venue shopping the Saint Clements had a fabulous reputation, and now I know why. They truly go above and beyond to make this process as smooth and easy as possible. From the time of signing the contract, you are assigned a personal even specialist who is always available to answer any and every question. I worked with Erin throughout this process and she was absolutely wonderful. I was initially a little nervous as I knew Erin would not be there on the big day, but a few days before the wedding we met with our banquet manager and all of my concerns flew out the window - she knew everything that Erin and I had been discussing for the past year and was absolutely fabulous on the day of - if this is part of your concerns, don't let it be! The day of was smoother than I ever could have imagined, my husband and I always had someone at our side whenever we needed anything. One of my big things was not wanting to miss the whole cocktail hour (I got to half of it!), but from the second we ended our walk down the aisle they were waiting with champagne, and the hors d'oeuvres soon followed. Even if for some reason you did spend the whole time taking pictures, don't worry about missing the food because they are right there with everything you would want or need. The entire staff from the banquet manager to the bridal attendant all the way to the bar staff and servers - everyone was so professional and attentive to all of our guests needs. Everything was absolutely wonderful and I cannot thank the staff at Saint Clements enough for making the most special day of our lives so unbelievably perfect!!

Saint Clements is a FIRST CLASS operation from beginning to end, with zero exceptions. We knew Saint Clements was the perfect location for our wedding the moment we arrived. Saint Clements is every bit as gorgeous as it appears to be in every picture you can find online. Erin was our contact person throughout our year and a half planning process and she was EXCELLENT. There was never a time where an email or call did not get returned. Katelynn had the task of coordinating our event throughout the entire day. Needless to say, she was every bit as awesome as Erin had been leading up to the big day. Everything went flawlessly, and there was never a single second where my bride, or myself did not feel like she made us a complete priority! This venue, and the staff (From top to bottom) really know how to make you feel like your the most important thing in the world! We brought CARS full of items to be put out for our wedding day, and errors were to be expected, but NONE were found. Everything was handled perfectly! One of the servers (Nick) was either assigned to us for the day, or took it upon himself to make sure that there was never a moment we weren't attended to, and had anything we needed throughout the ceremony and reception. Our day was filled with amazing weather, an amazing ceremony complete with a Cinderella like horse and carriage entrance for my bride (booked separately) and an absolutely tremendous staff of vendors! It was everything we hoped and dreamed that it would be, THANK you for being a huge part of it! Hopefully the staff had as much fun as we did!

I recently had my wedding at Saint Clements Castle & Marina. They did a fantastic job on making my wedding feel magical! We had Siarra as our coordinator who was incredibly attentive to us!
They listened to every request we had, and the night was flawless! The grounds were beautiful, and I heard nothing but positive things from the food to the staff!

Saint Clements Castle was an amazingly beautiful location for our daughter's wedding! Photo ops with golden autumn leaves by the Connecticut River, ceremony in the art gallery, many beautifully decorated rooms that our guests had access to. Stunning!
Aside from the setting itself the service by the staff at Saint Clements was outstanding! They provided a wedding coordinator from the outset who contacted us frequently through the year of planning to be sure that all of the details would be perfect! The food and especially the service provided at the reception were impeccable!
My daughter described the day as "the Best Wedding Ever!" Enough said.

We absolutely loved Saint Clements Castle. From the start the staff was so accommodating with everything that was asked and they made sure the night was exactly as we had wanted. We worked with Pam and Kaitlynn, who were both great. Pam helped to coordinate the wedding from start to finish, and Kaitlynn was there on the big day ensuring that everything went off on time and according to plan. All of our guests loved the venue and thought the food was delicious. Our wedding was in the fall, and the Sunken Garden was perfect for an outdoor ceremony! The castle itself is so classic and has a "historic castle" feel without being too cliche. Our wedding was on the Prince Edward Ballroom side. The ballroom was large enough to accommodate our 130 guests without feeling too large. That side of the castle also has a vintage tavern for the bar, which all of the guests LOVED. My only dislike about the castle was the inability to have a rehearsal. HOWEVER, having a formal meeting with the wedding coordinators a few days before and how incredibly organized Kaitlynn was, I did not worry for a minute the whole night whether or not everything was flowing smoothly.
Highly recommend to any girl who has dreamed of getting married in a beautiful castle like a princess. Or anyone who appreciates a historic setting with beautiful grounds. Not to mention it is totally affordable! Can't wait to attend another event there as a guest!

We can't say enough about this beautiful venue. Our daughter's wedding was absolutely wonderful. We got so many compliments about the venue and its unique beauty.
In addition, the wedding event planner we were assigned (Pam) was so responsive. We called her so many times to ask questions before the wedding. She was great at responding to emails as well.
It was a magical day at a beautiful location. Enough said...

Having our daughter's wedding at Saint Clements was the best decision we made in all of the wedding planning! They were professional, the grounds were gorgeous, the food delicious and the wait staff was wonderful. The day of the wedding was a little overwhelming for me as the MOB with all the details of the day. The moment we arrived at the Castle, they took over and handled everything. Many people remarked on how the wait staff called them by their name and made sure that their meal was perfect and all needs were met. All the guests were impressed by the beauty of the castle and the grounds. Everyone I dealt with there was professional and accommodating. Our daughter now has beautiful pictures to always remind her of her special day as everything was taken care of calmly and professionally.

We couldn't have been happier with our venue! Food was amazing, and service was great. I didn't have a worry on my mind and everything went smoothly! Katelynn and Judy were absolutely wonderful, very helpful, professional and on top of everything. Whether Katelynn was helping fix my bussel for the third time or conducting a change of ceremony seconds before it began because of the torrential down pour she was nothing but sweet, dedicated and good at her job. The venue was more then we could have imagined! Thanks!
