Expectations Exceeded!
Our wedding-coordinator, Kayla, was simply amazing. She was so attentive to detail and very responsive. She is so personable and friendly, and made it a true pleasure and joy to plan our wedding details with her. She made it such a seamless and smooth process, and everything happened so perfectly the day of our reception thanks to Kayla and the bridal team. Our two bridal attendants were very sweet and friendly, and always made sure that we had a drink in our hands and ate every food item that was served.
The food was top notch and simply exceptional. We loved how our bridal attendants and Kayla stopped us at every point in the night when a new meal was served to ensure that we sat down and ate. If it weren't for them, we wouldn't have eaten the entire evening as we were having so much fun. Our guests raved, and continue to rave, about how exceptional the food was.
Our review could go on and on describing simply how amazing, wonderful and incredible the entire team is at Riverview, and the top notch venue for a dream of a wedding. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Every detail and aspect that Riverview had to offer exceeded our expectations, which resulted in the wedding of our dreams and a perfect wedding day. We keep reliving the evening in our minds and are forever grateful for Riverview. Thank you, Riverview, Maureen and Kayla for making our wedding day truly amazing, special and unforgettable. Great View, Great People, Best Wedding
Perfect Day at The Riverview
Our planning experience was wonderful, but the experience with the venue and team on the day of our wedding was exceptional. Meghan’s positive but firm leadership kept things moving smoothly and between her and our attendants, Cam and Felicia, every detail was attended to! They were prepared for everything, even wardrobe malfunctions, makeup mishaps, and last-minute requests. We did quite a bit of DIY planning and customizing, but on the day of, we did not need to lift a finger! We were especially impressed the the special attention paid to our priorities. My husband and I were excited about our menu and prioritized food during our planning meetings. At our wedding, the venue made sure we had plenty of opportunity to eat, but the excitement of the day took away our appetite. The Riverview team packed up all of the food we couldn’t eat and sent us home with our leftovers (plus some!) so that we still got to enjoy our meal!
Another item worth noting is that although two weddings took place that night, we never would have known it! We could not hear the other wedding in our ballroom and never encountered the other group during the entire time we were on site!
In short, planning our wedding at The Riverview was an amazing experience, and the wedding day itself was even better! I’d encourage anyone to book!

Perfect Connecticut Venue
The staff at The Riverview were phenomenal. They were attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but their expertise and support made the entire process feel effortless. They took care of every detail, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day without any worries. Our event coordinator, Kayla, tirelessly answered every question we threw her way.
The venue itself is stunning, and despite having rain the day of, the floor to ceiling windows served as the perfect backdrop for our portraits. The food was also incredible, and we've had guests still talk about how delicious the spread was. There were so many menu options to choose from, and the cherry on top was the ability to swap a traditional cake for an ice cream sundae bar!
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding. The Riverview provided an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever.
