The Whittemore at Vyne was a wonderful location for a dream wedding. We had the pleasure to work with Adrienne and Daniel. Adrienne was very professional and courteous and she made sure our special day was seamless. She communicated and coordinated with the vendors and she was just truly a pleasure to work with. The food was exceptional, the drinks were delicious, and the desserts provided were also amazing. Thank you to the Whittemore at Vyne for the memories.

TPC River Highlands was our dream venue and Pam made our dreams come to life. From planning, to the food tasting, to the day of the wedding, she was there every step of the way and was always available for questions. This venue went above and beyond to make sure our day was special and memorable.

The VUE in Hamden, CT is a recently renovated venue in Hamden, CT. The VUE sits on a gorgeous well known golf course in town. The renovations at this venue make it perfectly customizable to fit any bride's needs, theme and gives you the slate to make it the day of your dreams. The staff, food, location and backdrop for pictures make this venue a perfect choice for any season.

From the first moment we saw it, we knew that The Village at Boulder Ridge was the perfect wedding venue for us. We love the rustic aesthetic and the way that the multiple available spaces allowed us to create a flow for our evening. Heather has added so many lovely details to the space, including the PERFECT chairs, a beautifully redone bridal suite, and gorgeous lighting. The brand new bar in the cozy fireplace lounge was such a nice touch and our guests liked having that separate space to take a break from the dancing and sign our guest book. There is also a dramatic staircase to walk down if you have your ceremony outside by the gazebo and it makes for STUNNING pictures. Throughout the whole process, Heather listened to our vision and helped us make it a reality. She was flexible and accommodating and always willing to let us come tour the space again if we had a decor question or wanted to show someone else. She and her team worked together seamlessly the day of our event, making sure everything went smoothly. We don't live locally and didn't end up getting to taste the food ahead of time but everything was delicious and the bartenders made a mean cocktail!  We highly recommend working with them to have your wedding at the Village at Boulder Ridge!

From start to finish, our experience with the Farmington Polo Club was an absolute delight. Working with Rhonda made the planning process a breeze. There was SO much I didn’t know about weddings and luckily Rhonda and the rest of my vendors came to our rescue to answer questions, quickly and efficiently. Now for the day of.. OMG I don’t know where to start! The staff, the bartenders, the FOOD and the venue itself in all its newly renovated glory… absolutely amazing. Everyone who came to my wedding could NOT and has not stopped raving about the quality of the food and the service. I really could go on all day. I’m not someone who finds it easy to be pampered therefore I was trying to take care of myself all day, but the staff wouldn’t let me! Lol All of them made sure we were hydrated (which we NEEDED as it was almost 90 outside) and fed all night long. I joked with Zaimara, who was basically my attendent the whole wedding, that she was like my guardian angel all night. The staff was unmatched. What a perfect day. All this to say, if you’re thinking about the Polo Club— Book it. You will not be sorry.

We booked Testas for our wedding reception in October and it was the perfect day. I am a minimalist bride with no vision, no color scheme, and no idea what I wanted. Sarita did amazing decorating the venue and made it more beautiful than I could imagine. The fact that the venue offered DJ and cake made it such an easy experience

We had our wedding at the Hounds last summer and it was truly a dream! Every time I look back at photos, I am just in awe of how beautiful the day was. The property is stunning and easily accessible — I love how the ceremony site, reception room, and getting ready rooms are all easily within one space. The garden was absolutely stunning, especially the willow tree and hydrangea bush at the front of the ceremony site. I love how beautiful and open the reception room was with the sliding doors and nautical light fixtures. My husband and I are both from the general Stonington area and it was so special to have our wedding day so close to home at such a beautiful property.

We had a rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding at the Mystic Aquarium in June 2026. We chose the location for its unique facility and wildlife displays. We enjoyed cocktails outside by the Beluga Whale pool where you can watch the whales from the top of the pool and from windows on the side of the pool at a lower level. We opted for the Penguin Experience and had two penguins with professional handlers join us. The guests were able to get up close and touch the penguins and the handlers were quite knowledgeable and made it an educational experience for all of us. We then had a sit-down dinner at tables set inside the main hall and there was another stand-up bar. The Aquarium closes at 5:00pm and we had the whole main hall available so that our guests could walk around and enjoy all the exhibits throughout the evening. We mainly chose the Aquarium for the setting and did not set high expectations for the dining experience. We were wrong about this. The food was outstanding and the service was superb. They have an extensive menu which can be customized and we were glad to learn they have kitchens on site for their customer food service, so the food was fresh and well plated. We enjoyed choices between a prime rib and grilled salmon, and both were great. We also enjoyed passed Hors d'œuvres which were filling, tasty and warm. We also enjoyed working with our events planner, Ariana Puma. She is very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to work with. She was very helpful and responsive during the planning process and on the day of the event, everything went smoothly. Our guests totally enjoyed our event. Many said it was the most unique dinner event they ever attended. We highly recommend it.

We were married in August at Crystal Peak and it was a wonderful venue. The service and responsiveness from the staff was fantastic and they went above and beyond to ensure every guest with allergies was taken care of and even made them special plates to accommodate. We heard from a lot of guests that they really enjoyed everything and we would highly recommend them to anyone! John and his entire team was very helpful through out the process.

Our fall wedding at Woodwinds at Gastler Farm (September 2025) was nothing short of amazing. The food was out of this world — we heard over and over again how delicious everything was, especially the salmon, pastas, and appetizers. People actually told us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding! The Woodwinds at Gastler Farm staff went above and beyond to make the day perfect. Our wedding attendants — lovingly dubbed “the fairies” — were everywhere we needed them to be, often before we even realized we needed help. From fixing my train to making sure we always had a drink in hand, they thought of everything. We felt completely taken care of, and it let us relax and truly enjoy every moment. Woodwinds at Gastler Farm delivered a perfect mix of professionalism, warmth, and magic. We can’t recommend them enough!
