There are just no words elaborate enough to describe the amazing crew of people Susan helped us pull together! The event was STUNNING! Guests were still raving the next day about the delicious food catered by A Thyme to Cook. The attention to all the details was incredible. Deb with A Gala Affair created the most gorgeous florals! 😍 Shantel's hair & makeup was perfection. Maggie made you feel at ease during the photos. Everyone was just so warm & friendly.

My husband and I were searching around for venues last April 2021 and it wasn't until we went to JE that we truly felt at home. From the moment we first had a call with Susan, to when we met Patti, we knew we had to have our special day there.

On our first visit, Susan immediately took us around and up to the bridal suite (which is to die for by the way), and we really felt like we were at home. Through the entire process, JE was responsive, thorough, attentive, and so much more.

The day of went flawlessly, not to mention how everyone was raving about the wine. Their vendor list is great, and any time you have ANY questions, Susan / Patti are just a text away with answers.

The winery is breathtaking and has such a warm friendly vibe from the minute you walk onto the property...simply said, it just feels like a special place. The staff, in particular Susan and Patti, are beyond amazing!!! They told us "We've got you" and they weren't kidding!!! Throughout the planning process they not only advised us at each step but were very responsive to our emails and calls and made that whole process stress free, really!! The vendor recommendations that Susan gave to us were so helpful and we were so happy with every facet of our wedding day and our guests couldn't say enough either!!! Whether you are looking to have a wedding or another type of celebration or you're just looking for a wonderful place to spend an afternoon...hands down, Jonathan Edwards is for you!!!!

Choosing Jonathan Edwards Winery for our wedding venue was the best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process! We chose JE before the pandemic hit and from the first visit to the wedding day (an almost 2 year stretch!), we could not have been more pleased with the JE team.

Susan and Patti were honestly a dream team. No one else in the industry answered emails, texts, or calls quicker than they did and we were blown away by their willingness to help us have our dream wedding. From rescheduling our 2020 date to 2021 due to Covid to the wine tasting with our family to the rehearsal to the wedding day (and the rain that came with it!), we were in the best of hands at the most beautiful venue.

I had the honor of getting married at Jonathan Edwards Winery on October 3rd. After canceling our original wedding venue due to the global pandemic, all of the stars seemed to align for us and JE Winery had our date available.

I had reached out via email and Susan responded almost immediately. She was so clear in her communications and explained everything to me so thoughtfully & concisely. She arranged a visit so we were able to come and tour the property. My breath was literally taken away when we pulled up to the winery. It is just stunning. Its the perfect mix of rustic & elegant. My only regret is not booking this venue from the VERY beginning.

The bridal suite is the most gorgeous space to relax and spend time leading up to your ceremony. It is HUGE so plenty of space for your bridal party & photographers. The suite also overlooks the vineyard & the tent so I was able to watch them set everything up and even got to spy on my husband as he arrived with his guys! The natural light in the suite was also perfect for some stunning photos of my dress.

The Sperry tent is outrageously gorgeous and was perfect for our October wedding. The lighting that is included under the tent was perfect for our reception & when the temperatures dropped, they were quick to shut down the sides of the tent and turn the heaters on (heaters came separate).

We were married in the vineyard and it was the most romantic ceremony with the most beautiful backdrop.

Susan is my favorite person ever. She was a lifesaver during the most difficult months for us. She was so kind to us and supportive and did so much to make sure we had the perfect wedding day. I truly cannot thank her enough.

Patti was our day of wedding coordinator and she is AMAZING. I did not have a worry in the world, knowing that she had my back and was making everything happen. She was ten steps ahead of me, ALWAYS.

Jonathan, the owner, was also so incredibly wonderful. We had shown up, unannounced, prior to our scheduled tour and he was nice enough to drop everything he was doing to give us a tour. He was so kind and helpful.

I wish I could relive our wedding day at Jonathan Edwards Winery a million times over. It was an absolute dream and I cannot thank them enough. I highly recommend this wedding venue!

WOW is this venue amazing. We got married here last week, I almost didn't pull the trigger on the price of booking, but it was my dream, and worth every penny. We got married in the middle of the vines, the wine is amazing, and that TENT! They have a new beautiful Sperry tent. With lights and a few florals- wow. Hidden gem in Connecticut.

I cannot say enough about Jonathan Edwards and Erica, their event manager. It venue is absolutely stunning and the perfect New England venue. Erica was responsive, friendly and an true professional. She helped us with vendors, was willing to change vendors to help us with cost at one point and handled all logistics for the rehearsal and the day of amazingly well. The wine is also fantastic! So sad its over but so happy we made the choice that we did.

My daughter and her husband had a perfect wedding at Jonathan Edwards! The setting was breathtaking. All the people who worked the event were kind and went the extra mile. Erica was a rock star! We could not have asked for a better experience!

My family, husband, and I couldn't have been happier with our experience at Jonathan Edwards. My mom and I knew JE was the perfect venue for us as soon as we arrived (truly, we pulled in to the driveway and my mom said "this is it!!"). It's a stunning site that perfectly fit the vibe we were looking for (rustic, elegant, and kind of anthropologie-esque). I also immediately fell in love with the gorgeous Sperry tents they use for outdoor receptions.

Apart from the beauty of the location, we were also very impressed by the JE team. The event coordinator, Erica, immediately made us feel comfortable and taken care of. Throughout the year, I never worried about the venue, wine, or day of coordination, because I knew Erica was on it. I was also impressed by how responsive the JE team was. I sent many emails and texts leading up the wedding day (i.e., where should I put signs? Can I borrow barrels? Where will the ceremony musicians sit?), and Erica was always extremely quick to reply. Erica also sent fun updates over the year (i.e., a picture of tent when it was set up in the fall, a picture of my flowers in the bridal suite on the morning of the wedding, etc.). The Jonathan Edwards team seemed to share in my joy and excitement leading up to the big day, which meant so much to me.

Overall, Jonathan Edwards played a key role in making my wedding day the best day of my life. I would highly recommend the site to anyone planning a wedding!

Jonathan Edwards was the perfect backdrop for our fall wedding. Erica was wonderful to work with, she always responded quickly to any of our questions, made sure she had every detail correct for our day, and was there to calm any nerves I may have had leading up to the second I walked down the aisle. We also enjoyed interacting with other Jonathan Edwards staff whenever we visited leading up to our wedding. The detail I loved the most about having our wedding there was we were the only wedding event that weekend. JE is not a "wedding factory" as they only host one wedding a weekend; not only did this make us feel important, but it made some of the smaller details such as dropping off decor early, setup and breakdown a breeze. They truly make you feel like your day is just as special to them as it is to you, a quality that was important to my husband and I. We look forward to being able to visit JE on our anniversary next year and many years to come. Its special to be able to revisit the place you were married year after year.
