Our DJ was absolutely unbelievable and, without question, one of the biggest highlights of our entire wedding weekend! So many of our guests told us he was their favorite part of the weekend, and people were commenting on his talent almost immediately after getting on the dance floor. One guest even said, “As a guy who goes to a lot of clubs and sees a lot of DJs, this guy is really talented.” That perfectly sums it up. He completely blew everyone away.

His flow was flawless, his timing was perfect, and he knew exactly how to read the crowd. He seamlessly incorporated everything we had discussed ahead of time while still making the night feel spontaneous, exciting, and completely tailored to the energy in the room. Every transition, song choice, and moment felt intentional. He kept the dance floor alive and made the entire night feel truly special.

We worked with him for nearly a year, and throughout the entire process he was flexible, professional, collaborative, and willing to do whatever it took to bring our ideas to life. He worked with us on custom mixes, followed through on every detail, communicated beautifully with us and our planners, and brought so much more to the table than we ever expected, including the uplighting and MCing. Even a playlist he created as background music for our beach party had guests commenting on how incredible it was.

One of the most meaningful extras was that he recorded the full set and shared it with us afterward so we could relive the night. It has only been three weeks, and we have already listened to it so many times. Being able to hear the music, transitions, and energy again is such a gift.

We used Dawson Entertainment for our wedding on June 20th, 2026, at Jonathan Edwards Winery, and we have nothing but excellent things to say. When we had our initial meeting with DJ Jason a year prior, we were excited purely based on his DJ experience and confidence. As our wedding got closer and we met with other vendors, our caterer and venue, they were all praising Dawson Entertainment and Jason’s work. We met with Jason a month out from the wedding where we discussed every detail from ceremony prelude, procession, recession, reception entrance song, must plays, should plays, don't plays, first dance, parent dances, ect. After this meeting I was wondering how our wedding night was going to go as we requested songs from all sorts of genres and eras of music. Let me tell you, it was absolutely incredible. The day of the wedding, the process was seamless, Jason met with the officiant to mic him up, as well as myself (the groom), to mic me up. Everything went off without a hitch, everything was perfectly timed, and the reception was unreal. I couldn't believe how he was able to play everything we requested, from different genres, different eras, and made it all flow so well. There was never a lull in the music, the dancefloor was packed the whole night, and Jason was able to assess the crowd/tempo and mix songs accordingly. I now completely understand why everyone I spoke with had such high praise for him. He was professional, easy to work with, responsive, and made us feel confident the whole time. Finally, he is absolutely worth the money. I will let you check out his website, but I would have paid more for his performance than what he charged, his pricing is 100% reasonable. Like I said, if you have the opportunity to book with Dawson Entertainment, do it.

Jason and Dawson Entertainment were excellent for our wedding! We met Jason at a bridal showcase with our venue and booked him right away. From the start he was responsive and very organized - he had recommended playlists to help us choose certain songs, had a spreadsheet of logistics to help us plan our night, and about a month before the wedding called us to go over the details to make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for. Our actual wedding day was rainy which wasn’t ideal, but all our guests danced the entire night away! Jason brought the energy and we got so many compliments on him and the music, it was exactly what we were looking for. Jason helped make our day so special and perfect. Our only regret is not getting the Photo Booth, if you’re debating definitely get it! I would recommend Dawson Entertainment to anyone for their next event!
