My husband and I hired Power Posse Productions to DJ our Wedding. We could not have had a more perfect company and DJ, DJ Doug, to work with! From the coordination of the event, to the music selected everything was perfect, professional, and you could really tell that Doug loves what he is doing. The consultation was also an amazing way for Doug to get to know me an my husband's music taste as well as go over how the whole evening would look. The photo kinda tells the tale of the night. DJ Doug did our wedding and absolutely killed it! We had an eclectic mix of nerds and older family members, and have had family weddings with similar groups where the deejay just couldn't get the crowd dancing. DJ Doug had the floor packed all night, and all generations had a great time. DJ Doug also handled the sound for our wedding (which was at Stone Acres in Stonington, an outdoor venue with the potential for wind and other noise). I could use adjectives, but I'll give his sound work for the ceremony the highest praise I can--multiple family members in their mid-90s with hearing aids could hear the entire ceremony, and DJ Doug's microphones were invisible both to the crowd and to photos. We highly recommend DJ Doug for weddings!

DJ Doug, was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He had a musical vision that aligned so well with us and our guests. He is so passionate about what he does and made all of the moving parts so seamless. Once our guests hit the dance floor, no one left. The music was so great that we are still getting reviews on how fun the party was. We couldn't be more impressed with Doug and HIGHLY recommend him for any wedding or event.

Words really can't describe what an outstanding job Doug did with our wedding. He was in frequent touch with us before our wedding with questions and suggestions to guide us through the process and make sure he was providing exactly what we wanted. He made sure to provide lighting that complemented our venue, had speakers set up literally everywhere (even in the rafters!) to ensure the whole room had great sound, and absolutely killed it during the dancing portion of the night. Everyone could hear the ceremony perfectly and everything from the first dance to the toasts to the parent dances were so well-coordinated and natural because of Doug's efforts. Multiple guests said it was the most fun they've ever had dancing at a wedding and that they could have kept dancing for hours. We totally agree. We cannot recommend Doug and his team highly enough. They're professional, calming, efficient, and just truly a blast to have around.

DJ Doug and power posse production was absolutely amazing for our wedding. It was apparent from the first phone call we had with him that he cares so much about what he does. He discussed every detail with us about the entire day. During the ceremony he has specifically created a low sitting microphone to make sure it is not in the way of pictures and put speakers all around the ceremony grounds (held in a garden) to make sure the sound would be perfect for everyone. He also discussed the different phases of music that he flows through throughout dinner hour and into dancing all with different themes and genres which was so thorough and well thought out. It was so evident that he cares so much about creating an amazing evening/experience for every minute of the ceremony and reception. Our venue had different rooms in which people ate dinner and he set up speakers in every room and performed sound checks to make sure the volume was perfect in all the different rooms. He also provided amazing uplighting in the tent (where dancing was) and two other rooms which looked phenomenal. Our guests literally could not be dragged off the dance floor and we could have danced for many more hours! Dougs wife Mia does the correspondence and she was incredibly easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend them for any DJ needs.

We hired Doug for our DJ and lighting needs for our wedding. He was SO hands on and really listened to what we wanted. the lighting was exactly what I wanted . The music was perfect as was the sound for our speeches. I cannot recommend him enough.

As an event planner in the industry for almost ten years I can's say enough about my experiences with the entire Power Posse Productions team! I've had the pleasure to work with Power Posse on numerous events as the Events Manager at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding in Old Lyme, CT. For the past 4 years Power Posse has provided the lighting, sound and audio visual for our annual Gala which hosts 600 guests in the indoor riding arena at our facility. As you can imagine pulling of the production needs in this venue is no small feat. Time and time again Power Posse transforms the arena and delivers a flawless event. "No" is not in their vocabulary. They always find a way accommodate this event planners "wish" list! Whether illuminating a enormous moon suspended from beams in the arena for our Moon Dance gala to hanging beautiful swags of bistro lighting, creating an on que clip of "We Are Family" for our MC's arrival on stage, hanging endless yards of curtain, or finding clever ways to use light rather than print, they go over and beyond every time. A few years back when the Belmont was scheduled the same evening as our event, guests were disappointed to miss the race because it happened to be a Triple Crown year. Always wanting ensure our guests have the best experience possible, I asked the Power Posse Team if there was any way to live stream the race. Within minutes the race was streaming for guests to enjoy. This has now become a tradition with the addition of a speciality cocktail the Belmont Jewel! I've also had the pleasure working with them on smaller events including lighting, audio and live streaming for a Kentucky Derby party and an outdoor concert with opera and show tunes. Again, each event has been delivered seamlessly. Recently, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, I contacted Doug in a panic because of our need to pivot the annual gala to a virtual live stream event due to CDC social distancing guidelines. My colleagues and I were in unchartered territory. Doug quickly put me in touch with Gary on his team who has years of experience with live streaming events. Power Posse will be helping us pull off our first ever live stream event this May. I can't tell you the relief to know we have this level of support and professionalism at our side. We plan to work with the entire Team in October for a in person celebration and next year DJ Doug will be providing our entertainmnet. It's a testament to Doug Jastremski's (owner) leadership and warm personality that he has recruited and retained such an incredible group of talented and hardworking individuals.
