This Must Be The Place is a picturesque wedding venue located in Barcelona, Spain. This family-run business offers scenic and incredible views with truly stunning backdrops. With many spaces for each element of your wedding, this 14th-century house has the capability to create the most memorable of weddings.
Facilities and Capacity
The several spaces around the house have been designed to give couples and guests total freedom to customize their experience. The centerpiece venue of the house is the lovingly restored stone barn, Els Graners. This two large double-height venue is connected with a majestic arch and can seat up to 150 guests. The venue also opens out through tall glass bifold doors onto the central courtyard. The El Barri courtyard space can individually be used as a fantastic wedding banquet space, or for standing, dancing, and drinking events. Surrounded by plants, flowers, and pretty stone walls, L’Era is perfect for outside wedding ceremonies. Equally, this space is also ideal to enjoy a wedding banquet under the stars. Other facilities include La Feixa, offering some of the greatest views of the Pyrenees and La Caseta Del Sol, featuring a bar and relaxing standing and seating areas.
Accommodations
The house also provides four spacious ensuite guest rooms with stunning wooden beams that can host up to 15 guests. With three double rooms and one twin room, each comes with a spacious ensuite bathroom, walk-in shower, and includes either an additional sofa bed or space for additional beds.

Location
The house is located roughly one hour away from Barcelona and its airport, and also one hour from Costa Brava and Girona airport. The house's nearest town is the historic rural market town of Moia.

Beautiful venue and amazing family
This IS the place!!
The venue is beyond gorgeous. We came from the US so we never got to see it in person beforehand. After 3 long years of waiting due to Covid, we were absolutely blown away when we arrived. Somehow it’s even more beautiful than in the photos.
Jo and Duncan are two of the kindest, most helpful people we have ever met. We had to postpone twice due to Covid and they could not have been more reassuring. They even helped with a lot of the communication with our vendors.
TMBTP has partnered with Caravan Made for catering services and they are INCREDIBLE!! Our guests kept telling us that the best food of their entire trip to Europe was at our wedding. I wish I could have their paellas everyday for the rest of my life. Also, they are just the loveliest people to work with and their staff was amazing.
There are so many stunning areas to choose from for each part of your wedding. You and your guests will have no shortage of picturesque views and backdrops.
Our favorite part about TMPTP is that your can have a group of your closest friends and family stay with you at the venue! Their bedrooms and living areas are so uniquely curated. There are so many cool details that you will notice in person.
For anyone who is worried about a plan B if the weather turns, this actually happened to us! We had to move our ceremony indoors because some rain clouds rolled though. Plan B ended up being even more perfect than our plan A! It felt very intimate and romantic.
We are still hearing from our guests about how this was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. I could go on and on, but just know that the value is truly unmatchable! We loved our experience so much that someday we even hope to return to renew our vows.
