HIDDEN RIVER EVENTS is a farm wedding venue in Asheville, North Carolina. Set across 20 acres of flourishing pastures and green spaces, this beautiful event facility is the perfect spot to say "I do." This spacious property boasts river frontage for ceremony and just for fun, along with flower gardens and breath taking mountain veiws.
Facilities and Capacity
Overall, this flexible and all inclusive venue can accommodate up to 225 guests and be adapted to suit the size and style of your gathering, from casual to formal. For your reception, you can step into the 6,800-square-foot artisan tent for an evening of dining and dancing. Brimming with vintage charge, utilizing farm tables, vintage table ware and hanging greenery, this gorgeous space is made for catching up with loved ones. It features chandeliers, string lighting, a fire pit, onsite bathrooms, and room for lawn games or just exploring our gardens, and animals. Depending on the season, the tent can be air-conditioned with ceiling fans during hot weather or warmed with heaters in the winter. Couples have a choice of site only (DIY) or our signature complete, truly all inclusive Mountain Elegance pacages that make planning stress free and complete pricing known at the time you sign your contract. There is no other place like this!
Services Offered
Hidden River Events offers an all-inclusive package to provide you with all the necessities for your milestone occasion. This service includes event planning, set-up/clean up, day-of coordination, food, all wedding floral, dessert/wedding cake, photography, bartending, rehearsal dinners, morning after brunches, on-site and off-site housing, and much more. You are free to customize each option to your liking, selecting recommended vendors that reflect your specific requirements and preferences. Saturday and Wednesday packages offer multiple nights of onsite accommodation, hosting at least 30 people onsite, so you can host multiple events and make lasting memories with family and friends. Booked couples receive access to a password protected website that includes EVERYTHING you need for your wedding planning experience along with our preferred Event Manager, to guide you every step of the way.
The venue has a sister venue, with a gorgeous inside space and a homestead that sleeps up to 19 and feels like a national par lodge. Some couples combine their events at both venues: rehearsal dinner at the sister venue and reception at the farm, with onsite housing at both sites, for cost savings and convenience.
Cuisine
At Hidden River Events, you are welcome to choose your own caterers for the day, or you can use the venue's preferred providers. These talented culinary experts can prepare a meal to remember.

So so beautiful
My only heads up for future couples planning a wedding would be to really understand the pricing up front on what’s included and what isn’t. It’s in the contracts, but we didn’t realize some pricing with housing on the venue, so we undercharged our guests staying at the venue - by a lot - and we didn’t realize cocktail hour food wasn’t included in the original catering costs at first. So things ended up being a bit more than we originally anticipated but it was all worth it! Also make sure you have someone that is willing to be your worker bee the day of your wedding. We brought in a lot of stuff on our own so we were responsible for setting that up. Luckily I had a great organized friend that crushed it but something to think about it you’re wanting to add a lot of personalized touches.
