This venue was beyond perfect! Not only is the property absolutely stunning, but they made the whole process so easy and were incredibly helpful. As a person who doesn't like making decisions, it was so helpful to have so many options already included with the venue. All the vendors they use are amazing and contributed to a perfect day for us. The flowers were so so beautiful, the food was delicious, and the DJ matched the vibe of the party perfectly. You can tell they have been doing this for a while and know how to do it right! We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding. With more than 500 guests attending, planning such a large event felt overwhelming at times, but Jeanne made the entire process so much easier. She was incredibly accommodating, professional, and supportive from start to finish. No matter how many questions I had, she was always there to help and guide me through every detail.
Jeanne truly helped me bring my dream wedding to life while staying within a very affordable budget, which meant so much to us. Her experience, organization, and genuine care gave me confidence throughout the planning process and allowed me to enjoy the journey instead of stressing over it.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and our guests are still talking about it. Everyone loved the scenic setting and unique charm of the property. One of the biggest highlights was the animals—they were such a fun and memorable part of the experience, and our guests couldn't get enough of them!
We are so grateful to Jeanne and the entire Hidden River Events team for helping create such an unforgettable day. If you're looking for a beautiful venue, exceptional service, and someone who truly cares about making your vision come to life, I highly recommend Hidden River Events. -

My daughter and husband were married at this site in June 2022. We toured in fall of 2021, after what was then a serious flood. We, like most of the people who use this venue, arranged to stay on the site with the full wedding party and family members for 3 full nights and 4 days. So unlike the individuals that are commenting, we have first hand knowledge of the venue, the staff and the owner. First, the area that is shown fully flooded recently, is well above where past flooding has occurred. There is no way that anyone with knowledge and experience with this property would ever have thought that those upper pastures would flood at such a high level. Look at the picture of the reception tent. Water is almost to the tent level which is close to 9-10 feet off of the ground. This tent sits 400-500 yards from the river and is elevated from the river area in two progressions. The flood in 2021 didn't make it past the ponds at the first progression. No one could have anticipated anything like this. I would ask the individual who took this video that has caused all these callous comments that if they were so intelligent and had such foresight, why did they remain on the property during the storm or for that matter why did they book a venue that they knew would flood so dangerously? And the answer is simple, because they didn't know what was going to happen. Just like the owners and staff did not know or anyone else for that matter in the entire region. Please have a bit more empathy for people who are suffering and have lost maybe everything they have. I have met them and worked with them, seen them with their animals and I know that they are distraught over what has happened, so callously commenting with no first-hand knowledge of the geography or people just to make yourself feel better about your views on animal well-being has done no one a service, but has materially impacted real human beings. Our day was so perfect! Haley and Grace were so easy and wonderful to work with during the planning process. Having most vendors in-house and “included” in the pricing made things very streamlined. We got endless compliments from our guests, and the property was in full bloom and so beautiful for our July wedding. Don’t be scared of a summer wedding!! The florists Kari and Whitney took my vision and executed it better than I could have ever imagined! I asked them to do things they had never done before, and they absolutely crushed it, making every detail perfect and making our day that much better! The day moved seamlessly from pre-ceremony drinks to our beautiful ceremony under the tree, back to the garden bar for cocktail hour, and then to the tent for the reception.
My only heads up for future couples planning a wedding would be to really understand the pricing up front on what’s included and what isn’t. It’s in the contracts, but we didn’t realize some pricing with housing on the venue, so we undercharged our guests staying at the venue - by a lot - and we didn’t realize cocktail hour food wasn’t included in the original catering costs at first. So things ended up being a bit more than we originally anticipated but it was all worth it! Also make sure you have someone that is willing to be your worker bee the day of your wedding. We brought in a lot of stuff on our own so we were responsible for setting that up. Luckily I had a great organized friend that crushed it but something to think about it you’re wanting to add a lot of personalized touches. -

Hidden River Events is the most amazing place I have had the pleasure of booking with. My wedding was a dream come true and my Husband has said it was the happiest day of his life.
Booking with them was very easy. When I saw that they were an all-inclusive venue, I was a bit skeptical. But after speaking to them, everything fell into place. HRE was indeed all-inclusive. The contract was sent immediately, and instructions were quite clear to follow. All of the communication between Grace and Haley was prompt, professional, and polite. They answered all of our questions and concerns, even the last minute details that seemed to pop up.
I would recommended this venue to everyone who is looking for a place for an outdoor wedding. There are many ceremony sites to choose from and everything is beautiful. All the staff were professional and friendly, very easy to talk to and lovely to work with. -

When you drive into Hidden River, you see the beautiful white reception tent in the middle of a green field, rolling mountains in the distance, horses and goats grazing behind wooden fences, flowers, trees, and of course, the hidden river. But, Hidden River is so much more than just a beautiful wedding venue, it’s not just a place where weddings are hosted, it’s a place where love is nurtured. The team at Hidden River cares deeply, and we felt heard and valued and supported throughout the entire planning process, from the flowers to the food to the details of the ceremony.
Hidden River Events can certainly describe themselves as an “all inclusive” wedding venue, given the number of different services that can be included with your contract. We decided to go with their included caterer (Anne’s Custom Catering) and florist (Hidden River Flowers) and were thrilled with that choice. We also really appreciate the option to bring our own vendors for photography and videography, as we had some specific people we wanted to work with. Throughout the planning process, Grace and Haley were always on hand to help us with any questions or requests we had, helping us to stay organized and focused. Lastly, we also asked Jeanne (the owner of Hidden River Events) to be our officiant, and we were absolutely blown away with the level of attention and care she gave us, helping us to have exactly the ceremony to match us and our relationship. Hidden River really goes above and beyond to make weddings special, and we are truly forever grateful for all that they did! -

Hidden river,
The venue owner radiates love, open nature and a kind heart. Which made a HUGE impact on our day and beginning steps of our marriage. The property is not only lovely-there is a peaceful presence surrounding every blade of grass there. We loved our day and how magical the venue and staff made it for us and our family! The next day we stayed on property and celebrated our families coming together surrounded by the river, and nature. A grounding end to an eventful season. It was a pleasure to be in your venue and have your love surround us on our day!

I can't say enough great things about our wedding experience at Hidden River!! This was a destination wedding for us with a guest list of 35 people and everything from the planning process to the day of, everything was so simple which made it even more enjoyable for us to focus on our special day. The scenery there is really incredible and made our photos magical. Erica our photographer was incredible, the food we chose - fajitas, pie dessert bar and cutting cake were excellent. Bar staff and DJ were also absolutely fantastic. I would absolutely recommend Hidden River Events for your wedding in the Asheville area. -

We had a great experience with Hidden River Events for our wedding on 4/6/24. We got a Saturday package for a wedding of up to 75 guests. Everything was wonderful from the planning to the day-of. It was also generally affordable for the area and the quality of what you get for the price. For the price you get a DJ, photographer, bartender, caterer, flowers, and a day-of-coordinator. We also particularly loved the housing options that are on-site since this was a destination wedding for us and for our guests. The houses had mostly everything that we needed for our stay that week. On the wedding day, it was magical from the horse-drawn carriage to the ceremony site next to the river. It was picturesque and perfect. I highly recommend choosing Hidden River Events for your wedding! -

Despite the ominous title, our day was the farthest from.
We met on an island of fire and ice in the North Atlantic Sea back in 2019. For 2 years, we lived apart, until we were able to come and be together at the Grand Canyon. In that time, I learned of a truly special place in my wife's heart. We started searching in the desired area and found a company that appealed to us, far more than any others.
Hidden River Events was an ABSOLUTELY incredible venue for us. My wife has always wanted to be married in Asheville, NC and wanted to be married during the change of seasons. This change of seasons being Fall in particular, when the hills are alive with such breathtaking color.
Hidden River has all the best qualities for which we were looking. They possess a stunning setting space, a number of different locations on property to hold the ceremony (we ended up choosing the cove beside the Swannanoa River), on-site housing for the majority of our guests, flowers grown on-site and after the event any extras were taken to hospice, and locally-sourced food, where the extra was taken to the local shelter.
Hidden River built a personalized wedding website for us that made picking and choosing our decorations, menu, floral packages, etc. incredibly easy considering we lived almost 2000 miles away and could not perform on-site visits. Haley and Grace worked with us by answering any and every little question we came up with, having long phone calls with us, continually updating our google docs with our decisions, and offering advice based on their past experience. We loved our DJ, Michael and our day-of-coordinator, Kriss who were incredible with keeping the day running smoothly. We also had Jesse as our photographer and she was absolutely fantastic. It was really wonderful to have a staff that had so much experience working with one another and working at Hidden River. Despite their immense experience, their genuine excitement for our day was everpresent throughout the whole planning process and the day-of.
Jeanne officiated our wedding and we are so grateful that she did. This was the most intimate, genuine, and romantic ceremony we could have imagined. We sat down with Jeanne a couple days before our wedding and spoke to her for a couple hours about us, our love story, our values, etc. She truly internalized our story and performed a ceremony that was so sentimental and true to us. For days after we had folks saying, "How long have you known Jeanne?!", "She portrayed your connection so well we thought she had known you for years!", and "That was the most love I have ever felt at a wedding ceremony". We truly cannot thank Jeanne enough for her immense contribution to making this day the most special of our lives.
On the day of our wedding... LITERALLY NOTHING WENT WRONG....I am not even joking when I say this, especially given there were probably a hundred things that could have gone wrong. We were honored with amazing weather, the Hidden River staff had everything set up and looking beautiful, the food was so phenomenal....this was confirmed by nearly every guest agreeing that it was the best food that they had ever had at a wedding, and it was truly the best day of our lives.
The owner of Hidden River, Jeanne and her dedicated and wonderful staff, have truly crafted an amazing space and service for anyone looking to bind their life to their beloved. I will be forever grateful to Hidden River for their efforts in our most favorite day of our life.Hidden River Events's reply:

We recently had our wedding at Hidden River and it could not possibly have been better. The coordinators and staff are tremendous people who made planning and celebrating our wedding as stress-free as it could possibly be. The venue is gorgeous, and the option to have some housing for ourselves and guests on site was an amazing treat. Jeanne the owner (and our officiant) is a lovely person who really puts a ton of thought and care into what she does. The Hidden River staff we worked with were each absolutely lovely people who did everything they could to make our day perfect. I would never ever consider getting married anywhere except at Hidden River. It checked our personal boxes of: beautiful outdoor venue in the mountains, lodging on site, and pet friendly. On top of this, they are an all inclusive venue and make the wedding planning process a BREEZE. I mean, they handle it all! Their website is very straight forward so you know exactly what you are getting and for how much upfront. The staff is very professional, responsive, nice, and knows what they are doing! They will put all your planning worries at ease. We got married there 4/22/23. We had about 90 guests and completely filled up the 7 cabins on site with family and friends that wanted to spend the long weekend in Asheville with us. The weather was gorgeous, the wedding site was by the river, and our two pups got two join us. All their in house vendors are AMAZING, so there is another thing off your plate. Just go with what they offer, and let them take the wheel. You won't regret it! My wedding day was easy breezy, and I would gladly relive it 1000x over. -

My wife and I had a wonderful wedding this past weekend and it was largely wonderful because of the attention to detail and hard-working staff at Hidden River Events. Wedding planning can be inherently difficult for the Bride and Groom with a ton of decisions, coordination and developing plans but our experience at Hidden River was not stressful, it was just enjoyable! The team at HR Events, with an all-inclusive type offering, take you along for the ride with a process that builds confidence in the event(s), gives you freedom to specify your needs and fully allows you to be present at your wedding.
The venue is beautiful. The well-manicured fields, plentiful housing, tons of friendly animals, access to water, all settled inside a stunning mountainous backdrop. The event space has all of the enjoyment of being outside in nature with an elegance that’s fitting for a wedding with your loved ones.
The people you get to work with make all the difference. Jeanne, the owner, gave us a wonderful tour of the venue and really made us feel like we were at home at Hidden River. Throughout the process we had multiple coordinators – Grace, Haley, Logan and Kevin – who were all on the same page, always happy to help, and communicated everything with us promptly and effectively. We got to work with Trevor, who assisted in floral arrangements - not only were the flowers beautiful, everyone who talked to him told me how nice and helpful he was. Erica Mueller, our photographer, is unbelievably talented in her vision for photos. We were consistently amazed at what she could pull off. She also was “herding the cats”, as I liked to say, getting everyone to get to their marks and keeping us on time. As talented as she is, I don’t want it to be lost that she’s also one of the sweetest people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Ann, the owner of Moment’s Catering, completely pulled off an incredible meal for dinner. I had multiple guests tell me that it was the best barbecue they thought they had ever had (no joke). Our DJ, Michael, was awesome at keeping the party going! The bartenders nailed it! I know I’m missing even more but this staff was fantastic great across the board. Thanks again to all those involved in making our weekend special. We will always be grateful!
We would strongly recommend any couple looking for a venue to host their wedding event to go see Hidden River for themselves. We instantly fell in love with it and would bet that you will too.

When my now husband and I first got engaged I told him I didn't want to PLAN a wedding. We searched and searched and finally came across Hidden River Events. The idea of an all-inclusive venue intrigued us. We went on a tour and looked at each other and knew this is where we would be getting married. Throughout the planning months, my communication was with Haley and Grace. They helped us plan every little detail of the wedding without it being overwhelming. Fast forward to wedding weekend. Our Day-of-Coordinator was Logan and she was absolutely wonderful. I asked a lot of questions and she answered each of them with a smile on her face. Every one that works for Hidden River is absolutely wonderful and we did not have any issues while we were there or during the planning process. We got married at Hidden River Events in September and absolutely recommend them! Grace and Ivy were great leading up to the event, answering all of my questions and following up on every detail. Hidden River is a hidden all-inclusive gem in the Asheville area - they paired us with great vendors that we loved working with. The food was amazing, set-up was a breeze, and the flowers were gorgeous! Our friends and family were able to stay on the property in the days leading up to the wedding, which truly made for such a special weekend for all of ua. To say that our wedding weekend at Hidden River Events was magical would be a drastic understatement; this place, and its people, are absolutely extraordinary. The all-inclusive but fully customizable planning structure makes it easy to get your day exactly right, with as little or as much outsourcing vendors as you like. What is included is amazing; horse drawn carriage, all the infrastructure, signage, etc was a list of both everything we needed, plus some really special extras.
The farm is so stunning in every season, but especially on May when the side field had exploded into yellow buttercup blossoms and everything was green with spring. Our ceremony down at the River Cove was set to the background of the rushing water and bathed in dappled sunlight.
We were blown away by the genuine love from each staff member, from the care they took to make each detail perfect, and the easy, calm energy with which everybody operated. It was unlike any wedding I've ever been part of in that we were all relaxed and having an amazing time from start to finish. Haley and Trevor were our Day of Coordinators and they were excellent, capable, and sweet. Ivy took us through the planning process with ease, and Anne's Custom Catering was extraordinary. The in house floral staff was incredible, and did a stunning job with our arrangements. Trust this team, they will not let you down.
We're beyond grateful we found Hidden River. We can't imagine our wedding having taken place anywhere else. -

Jeanne and her team at Hidden River were superb partners in helping me and my husband create our dream wedding. Jeanne is the owner of the property, and is warm, wise, and wonderful. She also served as our officiant, adding a very special touch to the wedding day. When you book a wedding at Hidden River, you get wedding planner support (thank you Grace and Ivy!), day of coordinator support, and access to some seriously amazing vendors that Jeanne has worked with for many years. All of our vendors were exceptional, including the catering, our photographer Erica Mueller, the bartenders (so great!!), the florist (more beautiful that I could have imagined). The property itself is simply gorgeous, and has a feel like you are out in the countryside, but is also very close to Asheville and Black Mountain, making it easy for your guests to explore the area. There are 7 houses on-site for your guests to stay, which was a major selling point for us. This allowed so many of our friends and family to stay on-site with us. I cannot recommend this venue enough, it was a fantastic experience planning and having our wedding here. We will cherish it forever, and we will have to come back for future anniversaries. I absolutely loved working with all the staff at Hidden River Events! Everyone we worked with from the owner/our officiant, planners, day of coordinator and wait staff was so sweet and repsonsive to any questions we had during the planning process. I can't tell you how easy and stress-free the entire process and every the day of wad a breeze which allowed myself and my husband to just be present and enjoy the day. We would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a stree-free all-inclusive wedding in the mountains! We could t be happier with how everything turned out! -

Getting married at Hidden River Events was the most amazing experience. My husband and I didn't want to stress out over wedding planning, we wanted a fun nice wedding without the stress of having to research and find all sorts of different vendors. We are so glad we chose Hidden River because not only do they provide everything you could need for a wedding (cake, catering, DJ, officiant, flowers) but everyone who works there is amazing! Everything was perfect. The food and cake were delicious, the flowers were beautiful, and Jeanne did an amazing job officiating. Grace was amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process. Amazing see detailed review
We got married at Hidden river events in late June 2021 on Friday with about 55 guests. We did not stay on the property. Everything was PERFECT. Jeanne told us when we toured Hidden river that their goal is to make you feel relaxed on your wedding day, my first thought was well that sounds perfect but how could this be true. I had already dabbled a little bit in wedding planning without the all inclusive package in my hometown and was stressed from day 1. Well I am here to tell you they lived up their promise! Ivy and Grace helped with most of our planning and then we had Ashley as day of coordinator. They were super fast with communication and worked well as a team. They were laid back which helped the no stress vibe on the wedding day. They made planning easy with a well organized wedding webpage. We planned the whole thing from out of town. The venue is unbelievably beautiful. I mean breath taking! We picked Jesse Kitt as our photographer. She knows the lay of the land as she has been photographing weddings there for about 13 years. She took gorgeous pictures and was super organized. Flowers are included in the package and they were beautiful. I didn’t do a flower consultation (it’s extra) but I was super happy and honestly it was 1 less decision I had to make. We picked the fajita bar and it was delicious, people really enjoyed the different sauces and there was variety for all diet restrictions. The DJ was awesome. This is something I was worried about as we never talked to the DJ we only submitted a DJ form but he was great! The bar tenders were top notch! The made each cocktail individual and you could tell they knew there stuff. The cake was good, not awesome but good. I seriously don’t have 1 complaint. Such an amazing weekend @ Hidden River!
The Hidden River team is INCREDIBLE. They worked together smoothly and made everything feel easy. We had the case of r-a-i-n and they handled it so well as we had to pivot an hour before the ceremony. They didn't pressure me/us in any direction but was clearly taking all the right precautions and giving me a real understanding of what each decision would entail and the implications. Of course, the decision was challenging but ultimately was 100% the right one!
Jeanne (the owner of hidden river) officiated our ceremony and it was perfect. She is truly magical. We received more compliments than we could have ever imagined about how special the ceremony was. We had friends saying they took notes during the ceremony and we received a message from another friend saying that she and her partner are bringing home some things they learned from our weekend to work on as a couple. The moment that we stopped for the rain stood out to everyone under the tent as you created a space that slowed everyone down for those few minutes to just be present. Jeanne has such a gift and we are honored that we were lucky enough to have that moment with you.
The whole planning team was so easy to work with and helped keep us on track along the way. They made the planning process... dare I say... easy?
Everyone loved the food, Erica Mueller (photographer with Hidden River) was amazing, flowers were gorgeous... literally incredible flowers.
Such a special weekend because of the space at Hidden River. Everyone loved spending the weekend there and getting to be present & together throughout the whole weekend.

Absolutely Perfect Wedding Experience
It almost feels impossible to sum up what an amazing experience it was to have our wedding at Hidden River. We had an intimate wedding (16 guests) on a Monday evening and it was PERFECT. The planning process from start to finish: Excellent communication, accommodating, easy. Every person I interacted with, whether staff of Hidden River or a hired vendor, was incredibly kind, talented, and delightful to work with. And of course, the beauty and peace of the location felt unmatched. I got the wedding of my dreams without 90% of the stress (I don't think you can take 100% of the stress out of any wedding planning, but HRE gets as close as possible). Our wedding was so wonderfully perfect, I would HIGHLY recommend the experience to anyone. -

This was the first and only venue we visited. The views, options, accommodations, hospitality, professionalism, execution, etc. made it all more than worth it. Plus, having the ability to consolidate multiple vendors through a single source- HRE make it even more incredible. Their COVID precautions were the icing on the cake- pun intended. We could not be happier with our decision to get married at Hidden River, Jeanne and her team are amazing and we couldn't be more grateful to them for making our wedding day the best, most beautiful and special day of our lives. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We fell in love with Hidden River from the moment that we stepped foot on the property. We really wanted a wedding that was a weekend getaway in addition to the special celebration. Hidden River's onsite housing allowed us to do just that and everyone had such a great time (including a rousing game of ultimate frisbee the next day after hiking!) The wedding itself was beyond what I could have imagined. Amidst the craziness of COVID we had to reschedule our wedding and somehow Jeanne, Grace and their team still managed to pull off the wedding of our dreams. The onsite vendors are top notch, and they were able to execute perfectly on what I was looking for with rather minimal direction. Everyone raved about the food, and the florals were AMAZING. The venue itself is beautiful and the decorations they provide make it so that you have to bring minimal items with you . We planned the wedding from out of state in Florida and the wedding planning process (minus COVID) was stress-free which was exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend anyone planning a wedding in Asheville to make a visit to Hidden River as its one of the most unique venues I've seen with regards to the package of items they offer! We will definitely be coming back for future visits! -

We were married at Hidden River Events last month. Both my husband and I feel that our wedding was even more intimate and special than we could have imagined! All of the HRE team are professional, experienced, accommodating and KIND. They truly go out of their way to make sure the wedding party and all guests enjoy themselves and worry about nothing! We were so impressed by the responsiveness during the planning process and the wedding day. Our planner, Grace, was always reassuring and stayed on top of every selection or plan that we had. Annette was our day-of-coordinator and she was amazing! The flowers were AMAZING, grown on site and arranged so beautifully by Megan! We were thrilled with all of them. We chose to use a couple of vendors we had relationships with and HRE was completely flexible. We really were pleased with the caterer and DJ who were partners of HRE. The entire venue is beautiful! We were able to host most of our guests for the weekend right on the property. This allowed us to maximize our time together since we all traveled to be there. The entire wedding weekend was everything we'd hoped for and more! -

It has been two months since the magical weekend of celebrations at Hidden River. Andy and I are over the moon and reminisce often about how amazing our wedding experience was. I don't know how you do it! You made us feel as if we were the only wedding you were planning! Countless emails back and forth and you never skipped a beat. You were always prompt, showed excitement for our wedding and took such great care to bring to life all the details of our vision. One of my favorite pieces of the planning process was the flowers. I still remember our conversation over the phone regarding my vision for flowers, color and texture, etc. I remember hanging up the phone and feeling so excited. I really felt that you HEARD me and you were getting just as excited as I was. Thank you for taking the extra time to send me an email with all the varietals you were planning to use. The flower arrangements, bouquets, boutenierres and arbor flowers were absolutely spectacular and beyond what I had imagined. Sarah, your love for the work that you do really shows.

I don't know how you pulled off everything you did the day of our wedding. You were an absolute life-saver! I felt so much relief after you came up to the white house while we were getting ready to confirm details and tell me you were going to take care of EVERYTHING!! You KILLED it! I must admit I was nervous about the DJ form because I felt that it was going to be hard to convey what we wanted but you took our suggestions, felt the vibes in the room and NAILED IT! We always envisioned an active dance floor but the energy that we felt on our wedding day was electric. All generations were on the dance floor all night. We didn't want it to end!

Another piece of planning that I was nervous about was the fact that we weren't able to make it to a tasting. In hind sight, this was an area I never should have been worried about. All of the food was DELICIOUS! Everything was so fresh, colorful and beautifully presented! I truly feel that I could have picked anything and it would have been amazing. Thank you also for making such a spectacular cake! I heard many people say it was the best wedding cake they had ever had.

Spectaculer Wedding Weekend
Our wedding weekend for our daughter at Hidden River was spectacular. The property itself is beautiful and the entire staff is very professional and very thorough. The carriage ride to the ceremony is an experience I will never forget! The food at the reception was world class and the new farm tables and chairs were very beautiful Great value with the ability to sleep on site.

So weddings are stressful beyond my fathoming. Hidden River's a'la carte selecting and pricing made designing our wedding simple. Our contacts for planning were super responsive and flexible. Definitely not a canned wedding experience. Real humans working with us to plan our special day. We even got to host an axe-throwing competition after our rehearsal lunch! So cool. Come wedding day, the execution was absolutely flawless. Our friends have been to many weddings, and then some, but couldn't say enough about how well the evening went. Even a month later, we're getting unsolicited praise for how our wedding was so genuine and lovely. Oh man...can't say enough good things so I'll leave it here. -

Hidden River Events not only a beautiful location for a wedding, but they do all they can to remove many of the stressors that come with wedding planning so that you can focus on what matters to you on your wedding day.
My partner & I took a trip to see the property at Hidden River and, eight weeks later exchanged wedding vows in the "marrying field." I really can't imagine this being possible anywhere else! The relationships that HRE has established with vendors made selecting everything from the catering, to flowers, photographer, etc.. easy. The day was even better than either of us imagined it, Jeanne, Grace and their team took care of everything- and we were truely able to just focus on the day & soaking in all the details! The property is beautiful, the peaked tent for the reception was great, and we loved that so many of our friends and relatives had the option of staying on the property with us! -

In fact, we didn't even step foot on the property until our wedding weekend! So if you are planning from afar, you can trust the photos, videos, and reviews of HRE - they are unanimous in the beauty and convenience of this spectacular space. On our big day, our coordinator Tara addressed every need immediately and made sure everything went off without a hitch. We had our ceremony at the river site which felt very private and serene; it was perfect for our small guest list. So many of our guests said it was the most beautiful venue they had ever been to. The flowers on our archway, cake, and tables were GORGEOUS and better than I hoped. The food and cake were delicious and our bartender was friendly and funny. I can't forget how happy we were with our photographer Erica Mueller. Her talent and personality were the perfect complement to our day, and we will cherish our pictures forever. I truly felt like a guest at my own wedding!

I personally worked mostly with Grace, but the whole team was extremely helpful. I trusted their opinions and was pretty go with the flow, and they exceeded all my expectations! The whole planning process was stress free, and the pictures truly don't do the venue justice! The tent is beautiful, and the floor and lighting doesn't feel "backyard tent" like at all. All my guests were taking and posting pictures of the beautiful views, and I'm so glad I also chose to have my Rehearsal Dinner up at the houses. I couldn't have asked for a better venue, and having the housing on site/bridal party getting ready houses definitely saved us in numerous situations! The price was unbelievable, and they were very flexible with substitutions (we wanted more bouquets than centerpieces, and they had no problem with this). I used them for flowers (BEAUTIFUL), food, cake, DJ, centerpieces, housing, and bartenders.Hidden River Events's reply:

One of the highlights was working with the local vendors. They made everything from selecting the perfect cake, wine, & favors to flowers all a BREEZE. We love the NC mountains & this was a most perfect spot to host our special event. Kelly & Jeanne are tremendous to work with - everything about our special day was unique & personalized. We could not have been any happier with the way things went. It's been 6 months & we're STILL talking about how special Hidden River is & how we can't wait to go back to visit.

Jeanne and Kelly have the system down pat and made all of our guests feel like a part of the Hidden River family - I felt supported and cared for the entire weekend.
The setting is breathtaking...but what was really moving was how personal and thoughtful the ceremony was. Our guests spoke endlessly of how unique and special Hidden River is and many said very plainly that it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever attended.
I remember when I first met Jeanne over a year ago she told me that Hidden River was as much a ministry to her as it was a business and after working with her I can fully attest to the truth of that statement. She is a very special and hardworking woman committed to making her life a reflection of her core values.
Jeanne and Kelly also put my husband and I in touch with the best vendors we could have hoped to meet - from florist to photography to catering - you can absolutely trust their judgement in terms of referral.
Essentially, Jeanne and Kelly and all of the Hidden River staff are professional, responsive, and easy to work with....and they care about their clients as human beings. I feel blessed to have met each of them. -

The only part of our day that went wrong was our announcement by Jeanne (the officiant). Our name was printed on all of our programs incorrectly!!! :( We are the Perkins, not the Berkins. Otherwise, Kelly was absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend this venue to any one of my friends. Our guests LOVED it! -

The Keeran family would do everything exactly as it was accept for 3 degrees cooler.
Grace and her team the day of wedding were professional, but relaxed...the florist did the best on our cross for ceremony
Most important I had a friend who was weak from cancer and she fell and the staff was right there to help us take care of her.
That was huge to me as the mother of the bride.
Food from Anne...well we were scared because we're chefs and she hit it out of park.
