Rist Canyon Inn is a rustic 120-year-old farmhouse wedding venue in Laporte, Colorado. Situated approximately 15 minutes from Fort Collins and an hour from Denver, Boulder, Longmont, and Cheyenne, this venue offers privacy with easy access to nearby amenities. This quaint, historic facility includes a new large event hall suitable for 100 guests. It is tucked away in the rugged Northern Colorado landscape, surrounded by rolling pastures.

Facilities and Capacity

Rist Canyon Inn is set against a backdrop of 20 lush acres, and a flowing creek runs through it. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor event spaces, with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. You and your partner can exchange vows in the eight-acre ceremony pasture, sure to inspire romance. Trees encircle the pasture, and the Rocky Mountains are visible in the distance. This outdoor space includes rustic handmade benches, your choice of ceremony arch, and a sound system. The property's spacious, light-filled reception area, Bellvue Event Hall, is ideal for dining and dancing for up to 100 guests. Featuring many large windows, this room overlooks an expansive courtyard. Its elegant white oak flooring, built-in dance floor, and trellised patios provide additional space for guests to mingle. You and your wedding party can use the 1896 Farmhouse Suite and Historic Cabin to get ready before the ceremony. They include large bedrooms, marble and Italian tiled bathrooms, a full kitchen, a salon, a quartz wood-burning fireplace, and a generous light-filled living room.

This venue provides a planning service to help ease potential wedding stress. Bellvue Event Hall is furnished with audiovisual equipment to accommodate event entertainment. It features custom lighting with unique pendant rings and a disco ball that adds to the ambiance for receptions. The venue provides tables, chairs, a fourteen-foot projection screen, and other items. In addition, on-site accommodations, including the Farmhouse and White Pine Cabin, are available for those who wish to stay the night.
