Shilla bakery did a fantastic job with the cake! It tasted just as good as it looked! The cake was very light and the frosting not too sweet. They were very pleasant and affordable! I would recommend going in person to the store to order the cake, it is a little difficult to communicate over the phone sometimes.

The most inexpensive wedding cake ever! It's around $300 to get a basic 3 tiered cake. It tastes so good-- You can order the most basic and have friends decorate it w/ flowers or something. But you have to return the cake pillars after the wedding or it'll cost you.

The cake looked exactly like we wanted and was beautiful in every way. Usually wedding cakes are just for show, but everyone loved the taste of this one because of the light frosting used. We went in many times with requests and to change things and they were always responsive. Also, much cheaper than anywhere else we checked, even large less nice places like walmart.

I have to say our wedding planner took care of contacting Shilla and making sure the cake was delivered on time and such.
The cake tasted good and received a lot of compliments.

The price of our wedding cake was AWESOME. We were looking around and it was unbelievable how expensive everyone else was! My theme was cherry blossoms and they did an ok job of trying to recreate the picture I had. In the end I could have been happier but at the same time they did try. They called me the week of the wedding and showed me the cherry blossoms and asked if they were okay. The cake was delicious, we did chocolate mousse on the bottom/top and mocha with vanilla buttercream on the middle layer. They even did it without the dreaded raspberry filling (which I hate).

I had very little expectation for the wedding cake. I've tasted many not so great wedding cakes before, and I figured this would be no different. But I was absolutely BLOWN away by my cake.
It tasted fantastic! The cake was soft and moist with wonderful flavor.
It looked beautiful also.
The three tier wedding cake was just perfect.

We chose Shilla bakery since most of our guests were Korean and Chinese. We really like cakes that are light, not heavy or a lot of sugar in them. For the money, you can't beat the value. We got our wedding cake for only $300, which also included delivery. You need someone that speaks Korean, as their English isn't the best.

We were a little disappointed the cake was a little dry.

They were willing to work with us to create a customized wedding cake for us within our budget.

I wanted a cake that was not only good looking, but actually good tasting too. Shilla's was able to provide cakes decorated in a creme icing instead of the fondone (sp) that is traditionally found at bakeries. They did an awesome job with the cake, and it tasted wonderful! The only downside was that I didn't get the cake exactly the way that I had ordered it, so I would recommend having the cake double checked a day or so beforehand.

Granted, my mother took care of relaying most of the ordering information for me, but all I have to say is that the cake came out looking good and tasting great. The price was reasonable too.
