Make your magical day even more special with a delicious tiered cake from The Cakeroom. Our cakes range between 2 and 4 tiers depending on how small or large your wedding party. Here's what you need to do to make this happen: 1. Email us at email@example.com to set up a cake appointment. 2. At the cake tasting, you will get the opportunity to taste up to 5 different flavors of cakes. If you like several flavors, we can incorporate them into each tier so you are not limited to one flavor. 3. Choose from our many designs or suggest one of your own by showing us visual references of what you have in mind. 4. We will quote you based on number of tiers, design requirements, and delivery address, put your order through our system and expect a payment within two to three weeks of the wedding date. Please bear in mind that because our cakes are only frosted with our home-made butter creams and NOT with fondant, we are limited in terms of design. B Hall, Baker is a boutique baker located in Washington, DC. The company specializes in Whoopie Pies in a variety of seasonal flavors. Only the finest ingredients are used to make our Whoopie Pies, including imported French flavorings and European butter. Beryl Hall’s background is politics and interior design, but good food and entertaining have been a part of her life. Her mother was a fabulous cook and there was always something wonderful coming out of the family kitchen. Their house was the place people gathered. Beryl had a sweet tooth, and was intrigued when all sorts of cupcake places popped up around town. She found the offerings were fabulous, but no one looks pretty eating a cupcake An article in the New York Times Food section about Whoopie Pies was a revelation. Here was a little cupcake in a sandwich form that she could bake up into any size or flavor she wanted. B. Hall’s first Whoopie Pie came out of the oven within hours. Since then, she and her staff have tested many, many recipes and baked thousands of Whoopie Pies. Her little Whoopies have traveled from Maine to California. They have been the centerpiece of fabulous weddings, birthday parties and baby showers, as well as office meetings. They have been sent as client thank you gifts and Father’s Day presents. Their rich packaging and elegant presentation tell the recipient "somebody cares about you!" But best of all, they make people smile. It seems that everybody needs a little Whoopie every now and then.

Tai, a talented pastry chef and cake artist with a bachelor degree in Baking & Pastry Arts/Beverage Management from Johnson & Wales University (JWU) in Providence, RI has teamed up with mom (Daneen) who has a degree in Business Administration (Hospitality/Event Management) to make one sweet combination. Obsessed with recreating the cake creations of culinary chefs on "The Food Network", at the young age of 14, Tai knew a career as a Cake Artist/Pastry Chef was in her future. By the age of 16, Tai's obsession would lead to her being sought after by teachers, family, and friends to make specialty cakes for special occasions. Shortly thereafter, through a connection with her high school volleyball coach, Tai would be highlighted in a WUSA9 News "Junior Ace of Cakes" feature story on high school athletes with unique talent. That same talent led to Tai being accepted to JWU with honors, led to an internship with Fluffy Thoughts Cakes in McLean, VA and eventually led to Tai experiencing an amazing opportunity to study abroad in Italy. Proudly creating their edible works of art at the Mess Hall Culinary Incubator in Northeast Washington DC, the owners share commercial kitchen space with other aspiring entrepreneurs, 5-12 Dessert owners hope to use this as a stepping stone for opening a Art Deco/1920'-30s inspired dessert boutique & lounge much different than your typical bake shop in the near future.
