Wedding Cakes in Washington

My daughter and I stopped in yesterday evening to grab cupcakes and cheesecake. Oh my goodness, the best cheesecake we have ever had and the cupcakes are to die for! The icing was incredible! This service was top notch, and the staff very accommodating. This will now be on my must - stop the next time I am in DC.

The bride has gluten sensitivity and not many bakers could accommodate her allergies in a tasteful way! The cake was beautifully designed just the way we asked it to be. The cake was delicious, the baker was professional and on time. He even made complementary cupcakes for the Wedding Officiant! Everyone raved the gluten-free confectionery creation and it was worth every penny!!! We would highly recommend him for any celebration that needs bake good items!

Everything we’ve purchased from Baked by Yael has been phenomenal quality, be it treats shipped cross country or cake pops purchased for a local DC wedding. Their products are consistent, delicious, and beautiful. This is THE place to get cake pops and/or kosher, nut free treats… not just in DC but also across the US.

Candice did a fabulous job on my wedding cake and groom's cake. She was happy to help when we requested four flavors (they were too yummy to only have one flavor per cake)! And she spent time sending us multiple drawings until we got my idea on paper. My husband and I just celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary and I was so excited to taste the top tier of our cake. It was still delicious, moist and full of flavor. Highly recommend Candice for her talent and customer service.

Albertson's was very affordable. The Bakery was flexible and willing to alter their set cakes for me. The cake was very good and it was only about $2.50 a serving

We had amazing luck when it came to hiring vendors. They all worked well together and set an amazing vibe for our wedding! Mimi's Mocha Treats provided the cakes and other treats for our wedding, and we highly recommend you choose them as well! Mimi worked with us to understand what we were looking for and then they created a custom proposal for us. We had a great experience at our cake tasting, held in our home virtually due to COVID, where we got to try a lot of different options and finalize our cake choices. My husband to be never met a cake he liked until he tried Mimi’s cake! You must try the snickers-flavored cake; it is to die for!!! Mimi was great to work with. Our wedding had to be postponed due to COVID, and Mimi held our contract and put all our worries at ease. We did our wedding cake in the most amazing flavors we have ever tasted! We also had the groom’s cake that turned out fabulous! The cakes were delivered by Mimi directly to the venue, on-time, on our wedding day and she perfectly captured EXACTLY what we were looking for and brought the vision to life. The cakes tasted incredible also - we received so many compliments from guests that they enjoyed the cake! A huge thank you to Mimi as she was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. I have to say that this was one of the most amazing cakes I have ever tasted!!! We wanted something simple, but elegant and this far exceeded our expectations. We chose the shape and style of the cake we wanted from photos of her work. Then we chose the flavors. Sharon grows her own berries, so make sure you choose them as one of your fillings. We also chose a lemon curd filling to complement it. The last filling was her cream cheese icing, which she told us tasted more like cheesecake, and it did! We went with a chiffon cake with the creamcheese on the outside too. The cake was moist and delicious and decadent and yet very simple and beautiful. We gave her a wedding topper that we had and loved, and she made a cake that it looked like it belonged on. She was easy to work with and gave us an amazing cake we will always remember!! Lauren was amazing. I can't recommend her enough. Her cake was beautiful, and delicious. And also priced fairly, which is hard to find in DC. I have definitely eaten my share of wedding cake cardboard, so I really wanted to make sure ours was more than just pretty frosting, and Lauren delivered 100 percent. I had guests telling me it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. A+!

Baked and Wired provided a delicious cake for our wedding, inspiring guests who don't even like cake to compliment us on it. B&W also provided diet accommodations for our vegan and gluten-free guests with equally as delicious cupcakes. Cake was delicious and cost-friendly. We look forward to celebrating future anniversaries with their cupcakes!
