Wedding Cakes in Fort Washington

Long before my own wedding, I had the pleasure of tasting Sweet Elevations’ cakes at other celebrations, and each time, I was blown away. So when it came time for our wedding, there was truly no other baker I even considered. We selected three flavors for our three-tiered cake, and every single one was delicious. Our guests are still raving about them weeks later. Alicia offers an incredible variety of flavors, and her cakes are consistently moist, flavorful, and thoughtfully crafted. Alicia and her team are some of the kindest, most genuine people you could work with. It’s a special thing when a business not only delivers exceptional quality but is also led by amazing individuals. No detail was ever overlooked. Our cake tasting experience was impeccable, and the delivery on the wedding day was seamless. When I was unsure about the exact design direction, Alicia went above and beyond by providing multiple proposals, guiding us with care, and offering options until everything felt perfect. Even when we added additional cake close to the wedding, she was flexible and accommodating without hesitation. Sweet Elevations exceeded every expectation. I highly recommend Alicia and her team and look forward to working with them for all of our future special occasions.

Padua, owner/chef, of SugaChef is so generous and amazing. He made two things for us. First was the cake, which, we had a cake made for over 200 guests (only had 130) and there was not a single piece left. The bride and groom didn't even get a piece aside from the initial cake cutting. That alone should tell you how great his desserts are. The second thing he made were little bride and groom tuxedo chocolate covered strawberries. Again, not a single one left. However, we did actually get to eat those. Padua was so great to work with. He came to our house for the initial cake tasting. When we were done, he sat there for 15 min drawing out what we described. He met with us 2 other times just to confirm everything. Each time we met, he brought little goodies that are to die for. I would get a cake from him everytime. There is no other reason to go elsewhere. He is simply the best.

The cakes Audrey created for our wedding were simply amazing. Not only were they both delicious, they just looked fantastic. After a conversation with her, she understood just what we were looking for in our wedding cake. She helped my husband settle on the design of his groom’s cake and the result was stunning. Audrey created a beautiful 3-tired blue ombre cake, masterfully finished with the perfect complementary flowers provided by our florist, and a groom’s cake decorated with a scene of a train chugging through the mountains. We loved the chocolate mint flavor she put together for us, as well as the chocolate ganache that made up our main cake and the lemon for the groom’s cake. Her other desserts were a hit, too: delicious mini cheesecakes and apple and chocolate pecan tarts. She also kindly rented us stands for the desserts which both looked great and saved us money on rentals. We’re absolutely delighted with how everything turned out!
