Frost and Flourish

The cakes Audrey created for our wedding were simply amazing. Not only were they both delicious, they just looked fantastic. After a conversation with her, she understood just what we were looking for in our wedding cake. She helped my husband settle on the design of his groom’s cake and the result was stunning. Audrey created a beautiful 3-tired blue ombre cake, masterfully finished with the perfect complementary flowers provided by our florist, and a groom’s cake decorated with a scene of a train chugging through the mountains. We loved the chocolate mint flavor she put together for us, as well as the chocolate ganache that made up our main cake and the lemon for the groom’s cake. Her other desserts were a hit, too: delicious mini cheesecakes and apple and chocolate pecan tarts. She also kindly rented us stands for the desserts which both looked great and saved us money on rentals. We’re absolutely delighted with how everything turned out!

Our cake was beautiful AND tasty. We got so many compliments. We picked out the ube and mocha chiffon flavors after Audrey came to our apartment to a cake tasting. We would highly recommend!

Ok, so we originally contacted Audrey because we shared the same name but boy are we glad we did!! From the moment we showed up to our tasting, Audrey was incredible. We didn’t really know what we wanted in a cake design, but we gave her our genera theme and she ran with it sending us multiple sketches and photos till we were happy. And the actual cake? Even our wedding planner who’s had her fair share of cakes, said it was one of the best she’s ever had. Stunningly intricate sugar flowers, which we saved for every anniversary cake to come (which we will definitely be ordering from Audrey). I would have paid double for the cake she provided.

Audrey made us feel special from the second we walked into her home for our tasting. She had the sweetest setup for us to try three of her countless creative flavors. They were all so delicious, we went with all three! She nailed our cake design, simple and elegant, with minimal direction. The delivery and set up was beautiful, and most importantly the cake was delicious! So many guests commented on how it was the best cake they've EVER had, not just wedding cake. We went with vanilla chiffon with salted caramel filling, vanilla chiffon with Oreo filling, & a Guinness chocolate cake with Bailey's cream cheese filling. We cannot recommend or thank Audrey enough!

Audrey is so amazing! We had both a cutting cake and cupcakes at our reception. We did both carrot and red velvet for the cupcakes, and carrot for the cutting cake. Our guests were absolutely gushing about how good the cakes were, by the end of the night we didn't have anything left. Also, the cutting cake was absolutely stunning, it was a shame we had to cut into it! We can't wait to have another occasion in which we can ask Audrey for more!

Audrey was the pastry chef responsible for our beyond amazing wedding cake, and my new husband and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Not only was the cake beautiful and delicious, we had an extremely positive experience working with Audrey. Our initial wedding plans were up-ended due to COVID, and Audrey was very flexible in working with us to modify our cake for the new, much smaller wedding celebration. She provided wonderful suggestions about how to make the cake fit our needs and was so flexible in the drop-off, after we had switched our location for the cake multiple times due to our ever-changing planning during the pandemic.

Initially, we had a delicious tasting of Audrey's cakes, and it was so apparent from that experience that she puts her heart and soul into each cake that she makes. She uses the freshest ingredients of the highest qualities. We had requested sunflowers on our cake, and Audrey make gorgeous flowers out of sugar that all guests thought were real flowers! Obviously our few wedding guests (immediate family) said it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted and we were so glad to have many leftover slices. Audrey's pricing is also extremely reasonable, especially for the area.

Overall, we had a perfect experience working with Audrey- she truly did make our wedding day so special! We HIGHLY recommend Audrey's services!

Best wedding cake I’ve had! Audrey is so sweet. She created a beautiful naked drip cake for my wedding (with only a week’s notice!) and my guests loved it!!!

Audrey made us a beautiful cake that was exactly what we had envisioned and wanted. We picked lemon flavored inside and it was delicious. All our guests commented on how beautiful it was and how great it tasted. Audrey also showed up on time as scheduled, delivered the cake herself, and decorated it with the cake topper and flowers we provided. She went above and beyond to take over and not give us any extra work. It was great knowing I could trust her to handle everything seamlessly!

We reached out to her 1.5 weeks before our wedding. Not only was she available, she was willing to experiment with the floral flavors I really wanted. We had a great tasting. Before the tasting, she asked me if I wanted Italian or American buttercream frosting if I wanted chiffon/French or American cake....I didn't know there were so many options. She explained the differences and we went from there. She took the inspirational pictures of the cake I wanted and recreated it beautifully with hand lace piping. She hadn't done lace piping in a few years so she sent me a picture of her piping skills before putting them on the cake. We had a 3 tier cake - elderflower with American buttercream, rose with cream cheese frosting, and orange blossom with American buttercream. Shimmering champagne-colored base cream frosting with white piping and fresh roses. Our cake was so delicious! Very reasonably priced especially given the last minute request. One year anniversary cake included with wedding cake purchase! She was upfront and honest with her pricing. Delivery and set up fee was included in her pricing. She's also super nice and friendly. She was prompt in her responses. She cares about her work and it ahows! A pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!
