Cakes Plus has the best tasting cake I have ever tasted. Especially their lemon flavor. Their cupcakes are amazing. However, we went with a traditional three tier cake, and the team followed our directions down to the "T". I would say keep your cake refrigerated all of the way up until you are ready to slice into it or keep in a cool area. in September ours melted because someone dropped the ball in our wedding party, but it's alright. Cakes Plus I look forward to using you in years to come, and enjoying your desserts in between!

Cakes Plus in Laurel has the best cakes ever, hands down!!! The owner Alexis spent as much time as needed and more to assure the Bride and Groom had the most perfectly decorated cake. She travels very long distances to make sure she can accommodate her customers. Her cakes are melt in your mouth delicious!

Cakes Plus is delicious! The tasting was simple and easy. They can do so many different colors for the icing. Our cake was beautiful, and everything was very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

We were so lucky to have found Cakes Plus who were recommended by our wedding venue! Their staff member Hannah was particularly helpful when I went in to do a cake tasting and place my order. I had an idea of what I wanted my cake to be like, but she really helped me to flesh that idea out and communicate it to the baker. I actually went back in a week before our wedding to order an additional anniversary cake as a surprise for my parents at the wedding, and Hannah was able to get it all set up for me.

When I saw the final product the morning of our wedding I was SO pleased. The cake was just beautiful, it was exactly as I had imagined-- simple, yet so special and effective! And my parents' anniversary cake nicely complemented it. Also, their cakes are delicious! I love love loved their lemon cake, and am looking forward to having some on our first anniversary next year (for which they bake you a fresh cake)!

Cakes Plus was our first choice for our wedding cake. We met them at a wedding show and knew after that first tasting that our guests would love their product. We sat with the owner and she helped us design and order our cake. Although Cakes Plus has a cost minimum for delivery, because our venue was so close to their Laurel store and the time of our event was late evening they delivered the cake for us! Outstanding service and our wedding cake was beautiful and just as delicious!
