Kristin of Fat Girl Cakes was incredible. Our wedding cake could not have been more beautiful and tasty. Kristin took our vision and flawlessly made it happen. All of our guests adored the cake and could not get over how great it tasted. Kristin was very professional, attentive, and friendly from start to finish. Cannot wait to work with her again in the future. I would and will be recommending her to everyone I know!

Kristin at Fat Girl Cakes is awesome! From all the beautiful designs she's done to the delicious flavors I tried. My cake was gorgeous and exactly what I was hoping for. I showed Kristin a picture of the cake I wanted and she replicated it perfectly! I chose unique flavors for fall (Pumpkin & Cinnamon Bun) and had so many compliments on how delicious my cake was. I tried both flavors and they were both equally delicious with great texture. I don't think anyone would ever be anything but satisfied with Kristin. Don't look elsewhere, her cakes are great!

Fat Girl Cakes provided us with a delicious AND gorgeous wedding cake. You can tell that Kristin really cares and enjoys what she does. She gave us exactly what we asked for and the cake turned out great. She even suggested an additonal meeting so we could pick out all of the smaller details for the cake. Can't wait for our anniversary to get here so we can have her delicious cake again! :)

Kristin was wonderful to work with and made us a beautiful cake! What is unique about Kristin is that her cakes are both beautiful AND taste good. I found that hard to come by when shopping around.
I sent her a picture of a cake from a magazine and I honestly think hers looked even better than the original!
I was a little surprised that we were charged for the taste testing, but in the end it was completely worth it. If you get the chance go to her booth at a Bridal Show where you will be able to try everything without being charged.
I highly recommend chocolate fudge cake with chocolate buttercream icing. It will be a big hit!

We asked fat girl cakes to make cupcakes and a small wedding cake for our wedding. We asked for 4 different cake/cupcake flavors and 7 different decorations. Kristin was very willing to listen to our ideas, offer her suggestions, and happy to make cakes and decorate them the way we asked. We changed a few ideas and she was wonderful to work with. Very professional. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful, just like we asked for them to be, and oh, they were delicious! Lemon with strawberry filling, cinnamon bun, butter cake with fudge filling! I would definitely recommend Fat Girl Cakes; she will not disappoint.

Kristin does a great job on her cakes! I met her at a bridal show and everyone said "You have to go see her!". She had tons of samples on hand to let us hungry brides try. I decided that my favorite was the lemon with berry filling. It was a delicious cake! My only complaints are that the cake wasn't as light/fluffy and berry filled as was the samples that we tried. Also, when we cut into the bottom layer for our cake at the cutting ceremony, the cake itself was very cold, I guess it had been in the freezer? Maybe this is why it was different than from when we sampled it. It had probably been sitting in an air-conditioned room for a few hours at that point. I would suggest that you go with the top layer for your cake cutting because Kristin (and this is one of the coolest things) will bake you another cake for your 1 year anniversary! I'm glad we went to Fat Girl Cakes and look forward to our one year anniversary cake, as well as all our birthday cakes in the future!

Kristin at Fat Girl Cakes made designing my wedding cake an incredibly easy and stress free part of the planning process! I'm not kidding when I say that the hardest thing about working with Kristin was deciding on what flavor of cake to get - every sample we tried was better than the last! We eventually decided on a peanut butter cake with chocolate mousse filling, and all of our guests were raving about it!

At one point, we were exchanging e-mails to figure out how she should design my cake topper, and I was having trouble finding examples and describing what I was looking for. Kristin let me come to her workshop as she sculpted my bumble bee bride and groom, just to make sure I was 100% satisfied with them!

fatgirlcakes is soooooo wonderful! She responded to every email I sent her, we worked great around each other schedules, she loved my idea for my cake & even helped me design my "side" of the cake and it came out beautifully!! Kristin's creative mind will help to make any wedding wonderful! Im so happy with what she did I took the time out to tell her during my reception & that was my one request to use a phone! AND her favors are just amazing ! We had orange creamsicle and it was AMAZING! It's the only thing I ate for breakfast the next day :)

The whole experience was absolutely perfect. She's extremely talented and artistic. Absolutely loved the cake! Unique & beautiful. And taste? To die for! Perfect. A great experience from the tasting all the way through the wedding. Highly, highly recommend & will use her again for all functions!

Booked Kristin before doing a tasting because the name Fat Girl Cakes sold me. All the reviews lived up to the hype. Her cake is by far, the best wedding cake ever (and I've had a LOT of wedding cake!). We were blown away! Had so much fun at the tasting I didn't want to leave. Kristin took my ideas and turned them into exactly what I was looking for. Not only was the cake incredible (we had three different flavors/layers), but it was beautiful as well. I received many, many compliments on how tasty the cake was. Kristin also made a variety of cookies for our wedding for our cookie buffet. Dozens and dozens of cookies. She delivered them with the cake and helped set up the cookie buffet. The cookies were amazing and there wasn't a single one left at the end of the evening.

Kristin is a dream wedding vendor. Very professional, creative, reliable, fun, and out of this world cake. Her work speaks for itself. Most highly recommend!

I am SO glad we were able to get Fat Girl Cakes for the wedding. Truth be told, I had been stalking her website for months before we even thought we would have a "real" wedding. She is very talented and I had heard some great things about her.

The cake we went with was white cake with mixed berry filling iced with vanilla buttercream. Boring, right? NO! It was absolutely delicious! My face in the cake-feeding picture is hilarious because I'm amazed at how great it was! The (now) husband doesn't even like cake, and he was commenting on how difficult it would be to hold off on eating the anniversary tier!

As for looks, I'd say fabulous! We didn't get to have a face-to-face consultation, so I sent her a picture of the flowers I was making for the bouquets and the centerpieces, and she came up with a beautiful design that was simple yet incorporated fondant flowers that complemented the ones I made perfectly.

I would absolutely recommend her. Delicious and Beautiful cakes, and REALLY a deal!

Kristin, was such a pleasure to work with. From the moment we had our tasting to the delivery of the cake. The cake was SO moist and delicious, we got a lot of compliments. I loved the design she came up with from my ideas and pictures of my dress. She was also very quick to reply to my emails and my changes. The thing that drew me in was that she will make the anniversary tier up to a YEAR after your wedding which is awesome. No freezer burned cake for our anniversary. Will definitely be using her again.

My cake looked great, but most important it taste great. Everyone loved it.
