She responded to every email I sent her, we worked great around each other schedules, she loved my idea for my cake & even helped me design my "side" of the cake and it came out beautifully!! Kristin's creative mind will help to make any wedding wonderful! Im so happy with what she did I took the time out to tell her during my reception & that was my one request to use a phone! AND her favors are just amazing ! We had orange creamsicle and it was AMAZING! It's the only thing I ate for breakfast the next day :)

The whole experience was absolutely perfect. She's extremely talented and artistic. Absolutely loved the cake! Unique & beautiful. And taste? To die for! Perfect. A great experience from the tasting all the way through the wedding. Highly, highly recommend & will use her again for all functions!

Booked Kristin before doing a tasting because the name Fat Girl Cakes sold me. All the reviews lived up to the hype. Her cake is by far, the best wedding cake ever (and I've had a LOT of wedding cake!). We were blown away! Had so much fun at the tasting I didn't want to leave. Kristin took my ideas and turned them into exactly what I was looking for. Not only was the cake incredible (we had three different flavors/layers), but it was beautiful as well. I received many, many compliments on how tasty the cake was. Kristin also made a variety of cookies for our wedding for our cookie buffet. Dozens and dozens of cookies. She delivered them with the cake and helped set up the cookie buffet. The cookies were amazing and there wasn't a single one left at the end of the evening.

Kristin is a dream wedding vendor. Very professional, creative, reliable, fun, and out of this world cake. Her work speaks for itself. Most highly recommend!

I am SO glad we were able to get Fat Girl Cakes for the wedding. Truth be told, I had been stalking her website for months before we even thought we would have a "real" wedding. She is very talented and I had heard some great things about her.

The cake we went with was white cake with mixed berry filling iced with vanilla buttercream. Boring, right? NO! It was absolutely delicious! My face in the cake-feeding picture is hilarious because I'm amazed at how great it was! The (now) husband doesn't even like cake, and he was commenting on how difficult it would be to hold off on eating the anniversary tier!

As for looks, I'd say fabulous! We didn't get to have a face-to-face consultation, so I sent her a picture of the flowers I was making for the bouquets and the centerpieces, and she came up with a beautiful design that was simple yet incorporated fondant flowers that complemented the ones I made perfectly.

I would absolutely recommend her. Delicious and Beautiful cakes, and REALLY a deal!

Kristin, was such a pleasure to work with. From the moment we had our tasting to the delivery of the cake. The cake was SO moist and delicious, we got a lot of compliments. I loved the design she came up with from my ideas and pictures of my dress. She was also very quick to reply to my emails and my changes. The thing that drew me in was that she will make the anniversary tier up to a YEAR after your wedding which is awesome. No freezer burned cake for our anniversary. Will definitely be using her again.

The wedding cake was FABULOUS! Kristen took our ideas and designed the perfect cake for the wedding. The taste and texture of the cakes and icing were incredible - the best I have ever tasted. The buttercream frosting looked like fondant - it was flawless. Kristen was wonderful to work with, and extraordinarily professional. She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns which was great because I live 14 hours away from the wedding venue. HIGHLY recommended for creativity, taste, value and service!

FatGirlCakes did an AMAZING job on my wedding cake. From the get go, Kristin was very helpful, explained all of our options and accommodated pretty much everything we asked for. I could never have imagined my cake to be so beautiful. As a bride, you look through a thousand pictures, and find one or two that you "hope" your cake may resemble or be as beautiful as, but FatGirlCakes made that hope a reality to me. The cake was absolutely stunning AND delicious! With Kristin, you didnt lose taste because of looks, and vice versa - she was able to deliver both. The cake was delicious, beautiful, a great cost, and exactly what we discussed. I was extremely pleased with my experience. The only hiccup we ran into was that our topper required additional support in the cake, and that support , combined with heat, caused the back of the cake to fall apart/ melt a little. The quality was great, and this probably couldn't have been avoided due to the circumstances. Overall, we were very pleased with Fat Girl Cakes!

Beautiful cake!! Kristin was incredibly helpful with picking the flavors and planning for the size of the cake. She also coordinated the delivery of the cake with the folks at the venue- one less thing I had to worry about!

Fat Girl Cakes did a fabulous job on my daughters Sweet 16 Cake. It was a topsy turvy cake with fondont. I would definately recommend Fat Girls Cakes. She was very responsive and the cake looked very professional!!!

From the tasting all the way to the return of the cake stands Kristin was super helpful and great to work with. She created a coffee flavored icing for me to try and it was so delicious I chose it as the main icing for my cake. As we discussed how it should look and be displayed she suggested we might do separate tiers on stands made out of logs. It was super creative and it was absolutely perfect for my outdoor nature-inspired wedding! She also patiently dealt with my indecisiveness and added fondant leaves as an accent with only a few days notice - another suggestion of hers that turned out perfectly and really added to the overall look of the cakes. The cake was bigger than I expected and there was more than enough to go around despite my well-meaning family members serving over-large slices to everyone, and I've heard over and over again that people *loved* the way it tasted.

In short, working with Fat Girl Cakes was a great experience, and I'm already trying to think up excuses to throw more parties that need custom cakes.

Phenominal cake. Looked beautiful, tasted delicious. Little hard getting in touch with Fat Girl Cakes at times but was not disappointed in outcome. One of my favorite parts of my day :)
