I asked Elegant Events by Ellyn to plan my first-ever family reunion during Thanksgiving week in November 2009, as I was completely overwhelmed by the many details I had to deal with, with only a couple of months left. First of all, family members from four generations had to come not only from all over the US (Florida, northern California, Washington) but also from Southeast Asia. There were about 100 family members in all who got together in Southern California, needing something to do for a whole week. Ellyn was able to book us a great venue on very short notice and rooms at unbeatable rates. She also planned fun activities that brought everybody together, whether they were 9 months or 90 years old, and organized a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner that was delicious and didn’t break the bank.
