My wedding cake was amazing!! It was beautiful and looked exactly like the picture I sent to the cake store. It tasted incredible too. I would definitely recommend!

Not only did Cakes Plus design my cake exactly like the picture I created, the cake was delicious. Those two elements were extremely important to us and we knew exactly who we could trust to deliver those qualities. I even had an extra slice later during the reception. How many brides actually do that? I can't wait until it's time to eat our anniversary layer, a year can't come soon enough. Cakes Plus cakes are simply the best. Your all events cake go to place. I am getting ready to order my grandmother's 75th birthday cake from there. We are customers for life.

Our cake was included in our package with the hotel. But when we found out it was cake's plus we were soooooo excited! They were sooooo nice with the cake tasting....gave us so many options....then when our numbers increased they made sure that we were satisfied with the options for having enough cake for all the guest! Our guest took PLATES of cake home. We had to fight to get a piece of our cake at our own wedding. It was delivered on time and everything was great!

Cakes Plus was a little bit difficult to lock down for the wedding. They have no internet at the bakery, so being from out of town, it was a little tough to lock down my date and my vision for the cake. But I have to say, they REALLY pulled through, and executed my cake exactly how I imagined it. It was just a stunning cake, and they did a phenomenal job. It tasted fantastic too!

I had cupcakes instead of a big fancy wedding cake. I mostly made that decision in the beginning to save on cost but I'm so glad that we did it that way. It was easier, people took what they wanted and we didn't have to have it served, and we were able to create a great display with the very cute cupcakes. They looked great, were able to make them with the decorations that we wanted, and they tasted delicious! I was worried about the delivery from Laurel to Alexandria, VA arriving in the time frame that I needed it to be delivered but we had no issues!

Yummy! This cake store was used for my sisters wedding and I knew I would use them as well. Aside from being a little expensive (which I knew) the cake was perfect. These people truly are one of the best cakes companies in the area. If you are not getting married, go try their cupcakes.

Cakes Plus provided the cake for my October 2010 wedding. At the outset, we had an agreement through our venue for a wedding cake from Charm City Cakes. However, when we went for our design appointment and tasting, it was so disappointing. The people were very unfriendly and not very helpful. Then we tasted the cake, and it was terrible. We hated it and decided at that moment that we would not serve that cake to our guests. Luckily we found Cakes Plus in Laurel to make our cake. I had found a picture online of a fall wedding cake that I loved. It had a lot of detailed decorations and was beautiful. Then we tasted the sample cake, and it was moist and delicious. They made the cake exactly as we had asked. It was even more beautiful than the picture I had given them. I got so many compliments on the cake. It was wonderful!

Our cake was everything we wanted & more!! It was breath taking & tasted great. By the end of the night, only a little bit was left!! My favorite was the Spice with the cream cheese frosting...yummy!!

We will be getting all of our cakes from here!!

Cakes Plus is Great!!!! Our Wedding cake was delicious. We had a three tier Tropical Cake and a Redskins Grooms Cake. Our guest loved both cakes. The price was reasonable and the service was reliable. We would recommend Cake Plus for any type of event.

Whether a wedding cake or an everyday cupcake, I always leave there happy!

Finally settling on the cake was in itself an accomplishments. Cake Plus was receptive in merging my vision for the final presentation and worked with me to make that image a reality. Every bite was consumed and small packages were preserved that traveled abroad with family members who managed to get extra as the stock quickly got consumed in 2nd, 3rd and even 4th by guests. Even the "groom's" sweet tooth was discovered as he indulged in the decadence and moistness of the cakes.

I brought in a picture of what I wanted and on my wedding day it was the exact cake that was delivered to the reception. The cake tasted amazing and was beautifully designed. I will say that only downside is that they charged me a delivery fee and my location was only 9 miles away...I think that's a little ridiculous. The reason I initially came to them was due to the fact that their website stated that deliveries in a 10 mile radius were free. Once I got there, i was told that the policy had changed but that their site hadn't been updated. We ended up going with them because the taste of the cake was wonderful!

Our cake package through Cakes Plus was included in our venue cost. Basically we went to one meeting with the bakery, told them what we wanted and they were able to manipulate one of their "included" cakes to look exactly like what we had envisioned. It was that easy and I didnt have to do anything else. The cake was delicious and it was fun to taste and choose all the fillings. Our cake turned out BEAUTIFULLY on our wedding day... it was everything we wanted and looked exactly as I always dreamed it would. Everyone raved about how delicious it was and how pretty it looked!!!

All we can say is that our wedding cake was such a "hit". When we went in to select our wedding cake the customer service team was patient and offered great ideas. After sitting with them for hours, we finally selected the wedding cake of our dreams. The cake was delivered on time and was exactly what we wanted. Not only did it look great but, it tasted great!

My cake was exactly what we asked for and more. Loved IT!!!!!!!!!!!
