From simple to spectacular, Sweet Sue’s creations are the centerpiece of any special event. Our staff will work with each bridal couple individually to create the wedding cake of their dreams. Our specialty desserts include cakes for birthdays and other occasions, petit-fours, elegant torts, cheesecakes and decorated cupcakes and a new line of gluten free products.  

By appointment, wedding clients taste cakes and view photographs of cakes to determine the flavors and style they prefer.  We use made-from-scratch buttercream icing or fondant.  Sweet Sue’s can produce up to 4-5 wedding cakes per week, depending on the size and design of the cakes.  Once our limit has been booked, no additional orders are accepted for that week.  A 50% deposit confirms an order, of which $100 is non-refundable.  The balance is due 20 days prior to the delivery date, along with your final guest count.  All fees are based on the final guest count. No personal checks accepted within 20 days of the event.  Summer is the busiest time of the year. 

Wedding cake prices are based on final guest count & difficulty of design; prices start at $6.25 per person.  Rental of cake accessories and delivery fees are not included in cake prices.  We accept cash, personal checks, VISA, Discover and MasterCard.  All rental items must be returned clean, undamaged and within 3 business days, (we are closed on Mondays.)

Sweet Sue’s will deliver and set up your wedding cake, working with your caterer and florist to ensure the best presentation possible.  We request that flowers be on site two hours before the event for placement on cake.  We provide written instructions and a box for saving your anniversary tier.  Our delivery area includes south Baltimore City; Anne Arundel, Prince George’s, Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties in Maryland; and Kent Island.  We can deliver to other locations upon special request. Our bakery is located in northern Calvert County.  Delivery charges are based on the distance to the event site.
